Presented by Maxxis Last weekend's race at Prairie City OHV Park was awesome! The Hangtown Motocross Classic is one of our favorites to attend, as the Dirt Diggers MC does an amazing job of promoting the second round of the Pro Motocross Championship series. Donn and Dommer made the drive to NorCal to cover the race, and although they missed the ghost ride in the Kawasaki pits, they saw just about everything else! Had a great time in this week's review show. Enjoy!

Logan, Queensland, doesn't typically produce global empires. Jason Daniel didn't get that particular memo. The founder and CEO of LSKD built a self-funded, $400M global activewear brand from a BMX nickname, a carpenter's apprenticeship, and five years stuck at $3 million in annual revenue—and he did it without a single outside investor. What broke the plateau wasn't a strategy. It was books, a self-development course called Landmark Forum, and the birth of his son Hendrix six months before he scrapped everything and rebranded. In this conversation, Jason talks about what the plateau actually feels like from the inside—the canceled orders, the weeks he couldn't pay himself, the quiet question of whether he'd have to go back to the job site. He talks about why he trademarked "1% better every day," how a mission that started as an internal team value became the spine of a 700-person company operating across three countries, and what it actually takes to scale a culture without hollowing it out. He also gets into his own running journey: from a sub-1:30 half marathon that nearly broke him, to chasing a sub-three-hour full—and why he believes the grind of distance running and the grind of building a brand are teaching him the same thing. Some brands sell a lifestyle. LSKD built one first.Tap into the Jason Daniel Special. If you enjoy the podcast, please consider following us on Spotify and Apple Podcasts and giving us a five-star review! New Zealand's biggest motocross race is taking place in Foxton this weekend – the 63rd annual NZ Grand Prix. The event was originally set to take place in January, but stormy weather washed out the track and saw the race postponed and moved to a new track that can handle any potential downpours. Josiah Natzke, currently ranked second in the country, is among the competitors, and joined D'Arcy to preview the event. LISTEN ABOVE See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Glory days with his brother Dean on the family property in Sydney’s south roaring around on home made dirt karts and fold up bikes. How a trip to see legends like Roger De Coster at Oran Park in the early 1970’s left a lasting impression. Why his Dad wasn’t keen to begin with and where he gets his trademark commitment and determination. The much loved officials (who were part of the fabric of the sport) that quietly turned a blind eye to allow him to compete in his teens. And the bike that really started the journey on his rise to Mr Motocross. Befriending and battling the late Anthony Gunter or ‘Grunt’ as they called him. Plus the marketing genius of Vincent Tesoriero at Forcefield - together they helped to change perceptions ushering in a professional era. It's officially time for another episode of Dirty Thirty — where you give us 30 minutes of your time, and we give you our very best half hour from the week. We start off with a legend, Jimmy Fennig, who talks about the loyalty he had towards Bobby Allison, and the moment he knew he would do anything for him. In Dirty Air this week, Dale Jr. reacts to a quote from NASCAR's John Probst about a possible future where the O'Reilly series could be filled with CUV body styles. Next up, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. crashed the Actions Detrimental set, and Denny Hamlin wanted to ask him about his consistency and how he's approaching Talladega. Over on Door Bumper Clear, O'Reilly Series team owner Sam Hunt recalls the story where he had his seat sold out from under him, which also might have propelled his career in team ownership forward. In the latest episode of Sons & Daughters, Shannon Spake sat down with the GOAT of Motocross & Supercross, Ricky Carmichael, and asked him about the time he almost thought about quitting before he ever became a superstar. And finally, we end up on a monumental moment in the Earnhardt household — Amy is no longer the only one who has lost her phone. It's a tale you have to hear! In this episode of the Seat Time Podcast, Andrew Short joins me to talk about “throttle therapy” and why throwing a leg over a dirt bike can make everything else just disappear. We dig into how Enduro racing helps him reset his mind, what flow state really feels like, and why he thinks fun has to stay at the center of riding, even when the stakes are high.Andrew also breaks down his go-to FX 350 setup, how he approaches nutrition and hydration as a lifestyle, and what it is really like navigating at rally speeds with Seth Quintero when big money is on the line. We get into parenting and moto, internal versus external motivation for kids, the pressure on today's pros, and why the lack of young riders and club volunteers genuinely worries him.If you love dirt bikes, Enduro, rally, or just need a reminder of why this sport grabs us so hard, this conversation with Andrew is a rad mix of honesty, perspective, and stoke that keeps building on the “fun program” idea we started with Ryan Sipes.------This is Mindset of the Racer – Episode 3, a 12‑episode 2026 series on the Seat Time podcast feed focused on the mental side of going faster, riding longer, and enjoying dirt bikes more.If this conversation resonates, share it with a riding buddy who takes racing (or themselves) a little too seriously, and make sure you're subscribed so you don't miss the next Mindset of the Racer episode.Support the show

The Bros catch up with Thomas Covington, a former Motocross champion who has built a career that stretches far beyond the track. Now serving as IHRA Motorsports Manager, he brings firsthand experience from many corners of high-level competitive racing. Covington was a sponsored rider by the tender age of 14 and quickly proved he belonged, competing at the profressional ranks both in the United States and overseas. After reaching the sport's upper levels, he made the tough decision to step away before long term injuries forced his hand. That choice opened the door to new chapters on the leadership side of motorsports, where he has continued to make an impact and has since become a "girl dad" to two daughters with his beautiful wife, Amy. A former P1 Offshore Director and now a key figure within the International Hot Rod Association, Covington helps guide the Pro Watercraft and Offshore Racing Series, along with multiple other disciplines under the giant IHRA umbrella. This is Thomas Covington. Myrick Coil is the driver for the National Champion Monster Energy / M CON Pro Class 1 team, Speedboat Magazine Test Team Driver, lead shop foreman at Performance Boat Center and a dedicated family man and father of 5. Trey Canard has broken just about everything you can on a dirt bike, retired young, and somehow found peace with it. In this conversation we talk injuries, identity, the Lawrence brothers, and what it really means to have a strong motocross mindset. We cover:Retirement and identity: going from “I'm a dirt bike racer” to “I'm a human who rides dirt bikes” without feeling empty when racing stops.Injuries, trauma, and faith: spinal cord damage, compound fractures, therapy, shame, and why he says you don't have to be defined by what happened to you.Failure and effort: why focusing on results held him back, how he learned to focus on effort, and what he wishes someone had told him earlier.Working with HRC & the Lawrences: what he's learning from Jett, Hunter, Chance and Joe about failure, persistence, and playing the long game. The “complete athlete”: why cookie‑cutter programs, short‑term thinking, and “you're only as good as your last race” are hurting riders. If you've ever been hurt, burnt out, or felt like results are the only thing that matter, this episode is for you.------This is Mindset of the Racer – Episode 3, a 12‑episode 2026 series on the Seat Time podcast feed focused on the mental side of going faster, riding longer, and enjoying dirt bikes more.If this conversation resonates, share it with a riding buddy who takes racing (or themselves) a little too seriously, and make sure you're subscribed so you don't miss the next Mindset of the Racer episode.Sponsor Links:BikeGraphix: Fully Custom Bike Graphics, 15% off w/ code seat15.Two Sponsor Spots Left (Please reach out)Episode Links:Trey Canard TedTalkSupport the show
