Worship isn't just Sunday morning singing, it's a lifestyle of reverence, love, and honor to the Lord.
Being under pressure is not a destination, but rather it's a transportation to where God is growing you into.
Repentance is a lifestyle of turning around from where you went astray from God and going back to His direction, His love, His mercy, and His will. A life of repentance is only possible through the conviction of the Holy Spirit that leads you to be aligned with God.
Is Jesus your King? He's not just our Savior, He is also our King. Because He is our King, we follow Him, serve Him, and live by His decrees.
The foundation of what we believe in is that Jesus is our substitute to take on the penalty of sin.
God will never give you a life where He isn't necessary. Suffering is part of life, especially the Christian life. However, we can walk through it differently because of the hope we have in Christ.
Just like the paralyzed man carried by his four friends to be healed by Jesus, who do you need to put on a mat? Who do you know that needs to be carried to Jesus? If it wasn't for the obedience and radical faith of these four men, their paralyzed friend wouldn't have been healed.
How can we finish strong in life? How do we keep our eyes on the prize which is Christ through life's toughest times?
Hold on to Jesus. Hold on to His Word. Truth comes when we submit ourselves to the Authority of truth.
How are we called to act as Christians during the last days before Christ's return? Encourage one another. Prioritize the gathering of the church. Persevere through the sufferings of life. Make every effort to live in holiness.
Stop the foolish arguments, divisions, and disagreements. As Christians we're called NOT to be quarrelsome. We may disagree with many things, but these major things have to be true: 1. One Body 2. One Spirit 3. One Hope 4. One Lord 5. One Faith 6. One Baptism 7. One God & Father
As Christians we have the responsibility to disciple (transfer what I learn), fight the good fight (focus on the mission), run the race set before us (play by the rules), and to be make sure we are always spiritually fed (feed myself first).
Rev. Samuel Rodriguez preaches a powerful message on Acts chapters 27-28 on Night 1 of First Things First.
We will not be ashamed to stand, suffer, and serve the Lord!
As we start off the new year, fear has no authority in our lives this 2024. The prescription to fear is God's power, God's enriched love, and a sound mind.
Being new in Christ, how do we steward our identity in Christ? Do we continue in the cycle of our old ways or do we let the transformative power of the Holy Spirit sanctify us in Christ?
Hope meets us where we are at. It is often difficult, but hope has a plan. The hope in us is from Jesus who is within us when we surrender our lives to Him.
Your story is not over. Your past does not determine what God can do for your future. Submit to God and let Him redeem the brokenness in your life.
Your decision today can determine where you end up tomorrow. Make a wise decision today by inviting the Lord to your decision-making process.
Reminder: Rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks. We can do these three things in every season of our lives whether it's on the mountaintop or the valleys. It's possible because our God is good beyond the limitations of our minds.
