Most succession plans are built around roles. Who fills what position. What the org chart looks like after the transition. How responsibilities get redistributed. Very few are built around what my mentor gave me: the transfer of values, judgment, relationships, and the invisible knowledge that makes a leader genuinely effective rather than just technically present. And so the 90 days after a leadership transition — the window that determines whether a handover succeeds or quietly fails — becomes a scramble to cover the role rather than a deliberate continuation of what the departing leader actually built. The new leader is in the seat. The boxes are ticked. And within weeks, the gaps appear. Not in the job description. In everything underneath it.

God has already done His part. The question is—are you doing yours? In this study of 2 Peter 1:5–10, Peter teaches that spiritual maturity requires intentional diligence. Every believer already possesses the virtues of the divine nature through the new birth, but those virtues must be acknowledged, cultivated, and increased. Discover why diligence determines destiny, why repetition in Scripture reveals God's emphasis, and why Peter warns that neglected spiritual growth results in a life that becomes useless, unproductive, spiritually blind, and short-sighted.

Accidents happen all the time, but how many of us have taken measures to ensure the life support machine is kept on (or turned off) according to our compos mentis desires? This week we are joined by Celia Kitzinger, founding co-director of the Open Justice Court of Protection Project and an honorary professor in the School of Law and Politics at the University of Cardiff, to discuss the merits and demerits of the Advance Decision to Refuse Treatment (ADRT), or living will, the legally binding document used to refuse specific medical treatments in the future if one loses the capacity to make or communicate decisions. Send us Fan MailThis Podcast is part of a 10-year project to complete an in-depth, daily study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, verse by verse. Episode Notes: Putting on the Armour of God: The Whole Book of Ephesians - Our Calling Determines Our Conduct. What determines how we should live our lives? Some psychiatrists would say that there are unconscious forces driving our subconscious. Not everyone would go that far, but many would say that our past experiences shape our present and future behaviours. Some would simply say it is a desire for pleasure. They just want to be happy and enjoy their life, and they might say something along the lines of “ I just want to be happy”. For others, it is a drive for power or influence. They want to be in a position of influence, either through the job or by holding a position of political power.A lot of people live for possessions. They try to achieve satisfaction in life through the accumulation of things. But many find their possessions soon possess them. Many Christians would say that we don't need to be driven by these base desires and motivations, and that we can have more control over ourselves than we do over our past experiences or our subconscious mind. Many Christians believe we can rely on something greater outside of ourselves than our own resources. The Bible has many things to say about how we should live our lives, and the book of Ephesians has been particularly helpful in this area. In this book, I've been going through this famous letter of the Apostle Paul. But now, before I finish, I want to summarise it by taking an overview of what I believe Paul was trying to get across. To try and see the whole forest as well as the individual trees, the big picture, so to speak. It's one thing to open the Bible and find a verse that is meaningful for you, but sometimes it is another thing entirely to see that verse, in its context of a paragraph, and that paragraph within the context of the book, and that is what I want to do this time. I want us to run through all six chapters of the book because this book, as much as any book in the Bible, tells us what should determine the way we should live our lives. Importantly is also tells us how to do it practically and apply it in real life….Support the showThis podcast is not associated with the Bible Project YouTube channel or any other associated podcasts that use the name 'Bible Project'. Welcome to the Mind Muscle Connection Podcast.Getting lean is about much more than willpower. In this episode, I go into what actually determines how lean you can get and what it really takes to maintain it. I look at how genetics, muscle mass, activity levels, nutrition, stress, sleep, and your body fat history all shape the range your body can realistically sustain.I also look at why forcing yourself to stay extremely lean tends to backfire over time and how your sustainable body fat range can shift as your habits improve. On top of that, I get into what it really means to balance how you look with how you perform, recover, and feel day to day.If you have ever wondered why staying lean feels easy for some people and much harder for others, this episode will make that a lot clearer.Let's talk about:Free Body Recomp WorkshopWhy Willpower Isn't the Biggest FactorWhat Actually Determines How Lean You Can GetWhy Your Sustainable Body Fat Range Changes Over TimeWhen Being Too Lean Starts to Hurt Your HealthHow Gender Affects Body Fat Levels The Role of GeneticsWhy More Muscle Helps You Stay LeanerHow Activity Levels Affect Body CompositionNutrition Skills and Proper FuelingFinding a Body Fat Level You Can MaintainManaging Stress for Better Results Why Sleep MattersHow Your Body Fat History Impacts ProgressKey TakeawaysFree Body Recomp live workshop, Thursday, July 9th at 1:00 PM Central Time. A halfhearted start almost always produces a halfhearted result. Starting with intensity has nothing to do with extreme workouts or going all out in week one. The intensity lives in the decision. A committed start at a manageable level builds more real momentum than an extreme start that burns out before the second week. Closing the exits before the journey begins is what makes the first step feel different from every other first step that came before it. Success isn't just about working harder—it's about showing up with the right energy. In this episode of Fuel Your Drive, Josh York breaks down one of the most overlooked skills in business, leadership, and life: learning how to control your energy instead of letting your environment control you. Whether you're leading a team, closing sales, building a business, or pursuing ambitious goals, your energy determines how people respond to you—and ultimately the results you create. Josh shares the practical mindset shifts and daily habits he uses before high-stakes meetings, major business decisions, and every important interaction to stay focused, confident, and in control.
In Episode 213 of the Know Your Sh*t podcast, Josh Cadillac sits down with Brandi Croghan, founder of The What If Collective, to explore how curiosity, intentionality, and mindset can transform the way we lead, communicate, and perform. After an unexpected corporate downsizing, Brandi turned one of the most challenging seasons of her life into the foundation of a new business. Drawing inspiration from hiking the Camino de Santiago, she developed the "What If Mindset"—a leadership philosophy centered on staying curious long enough to discover new perspectives, embrace change, and create meaningful transformation.Josh and Brandi discuss why so many leaders become stuck, how fear and self-doubt shape the stories we tell ourselves, and why asking better questions often leads to better outcomes. They also dive into building trust, giving intentional appreciation, embracing uncertainty, and understanding that lasting transformation comes from small, consistent actions—not overnight breakthroughs. This episode is a powerful conversation about resilience, leadership, and choosing possibility over limitation in both business and life.

Through a real-life conversation with a struggling entrepreneur, personal stories from practice ownership, and practical coaching tools, this episode breaks down how your thoughts shape your results—and why shifting your mindset is often the missing piece in growing your practice. What You'll Learn in This Episode: • Why your attitude is the foundation of both your success and your happiness • The difference between fake positivity vs. intentional thinking • How “The Model” (thoughts → feelings → actions → results) applies directly to your practice • Why your circumstances are neutral—and what that actually means • How your thoughts influence: o Case acceptance o Patient interactions o Team performance o Follow-up systems • Real-life examples of shifting mindset during: o A major office emergency (flooded suite) o Failed marketing investments o Team turnover and system gaps • The hidden way negative thinking shows up in your behavior (even when you're “doing all the right things”) • Why belief must come before results—not after • How one mindset shift led to record-breaking collections • The difference between reacting emotionally vs. responding intentionally Work With Me: If you're ready to grow your practice, increase profitability, and work less while creating more structure and clarity in your business, schedule a consult for SMPD:

In this fascinating episode, Dr. Scott Watier and Tommy Welling reveal why willpower is not a fixed personality trait but a biological state shaped by your morning cortisol response, circadian rhythm, and light exposure — and how understanding this changes everything about your fasting consistency. They break down the science behind why so many fasters cruise through the day only to find themselves standing in the pantry at night, and why the fix starts in the first 60 minutes after waking. The hosts walk through practical morning anchors — consistent wake times, outdoor morning light, early low-intensity movement, delayed caffeine, and protein-forward earlier meals — that prime the brain's decision-making center to stay strong when ghrelin peaks and temptation hits later in the day. They also tackle the evening danger zone, explaining how blue light exposure quietly shifts your risk-reward thinking and erodes the prefrontal control you built all day, making light discipline and a closed kitchen ritual non-negotiable tools for fasting success. This week's challenge is simple: pick one morning lever and one evening guardrail, stack them consistently, and watch how much easier it becomes to close your fasting window and wake up with a win. When is a “100%” claim not as clear as it seems? In this episode, we unpack a recent NAD decision examining how consumers interpret absolute claims and why advertisers should be cautious when using “100%” messaging in marketing. The case highlights NAD's continued focus on consumer takeaway, substantiation, and context, emphasizing that even simple, seemingly straightforward claims can convey broader messages than advertisers intend. As regulators, self-regulatory bodies, and plaintiffs increasingly scrutinize absolute and unqualified representations, the decision offers valuable guidance for companies looking to balance compelling marketing with defensible advertising claims. It's not just about what is legal or forbidden; it's about what is advantageous for your calling, your development, and your future. When we look at Jesus as our Savior but struggle to make Him our Owner, we compromise the very temple God paid a high price for. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
