What if fatigue, inflammation, poor recovery, hormone issues, bloating, brain fog, and "feeling stuck" are not simply about doing more… …but about impaired FLOW inside the body? In Part Three of The Terrain First Series: Flow, Signals & the Future You, Debbie Potts dives deep into the physiology behind her F.L.O.W. Too often, the modern church builds its entire grid around a single question: "Is this a sin?". But God wants to take us to another level. It's not just about what is legal or forbidden; it's about what is advantageous for your calling, your development, and your future. When we look at Jesus as our Savior but struggle to make Him our Owner, we compromise the very temple God paid a high price for. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Now, when we ask Christ INTO our lives that is also incarnation. That is the key to living a transformed life: God IN us. And as we yield to Christ IN us, truth transformation happens. Today we will examine this great truth.———————————————————————————————If you'd like this message's notes, click the link here!

Identity is one of those things that we really tend to take for granted. We often don't recognize just how much of an impact it's having on how we show up in all aspects of life. When we think to ourselves, “I am…” or “I am a…” Whatever follows, however we finish those sentences, is far more important than we often realize. Because they speak to our identity as we see it.  And our identity drives our perspective, our priorities, and perhaps most importantly, it drives how we show up.  We tend to think of identities as fixed. They simply are who we are. But it's not so simple after all. The fact is, we can choose which identities we want to operate from.  The identities we choose to operate from as Nonprofit leaders has a lot of implications for how we show up, and what kind of impact we have, especially in our advocacy work. In this episode, we share: The four essential identities that make the biggest impact on your advocacy successWhy those identities can often cause discomfort for many Nonprofit leadersCommonly occurring identities that will reduce your advocacy How to identify any identities you're currently operating from that may not be serving youHow to begin to operate from the identities that will serve you most effectively as an advocate and as an leader  Help spread the word! In this episode of Better Business, Better Life, Debra Chantry-Taylor sits down with Rajesh Nagjee to explore the connection between the business you build and the life you ultimately create. Rajesh, founder of the CEO Business Growth Programme and creator of the CEO Freedom Operating System, shares his remarkable journey from working in his family business to building a 450-bed trauma care hospital that transformed healthcare outcomes in his region. Along the way, he discovered that business success is not simply about strategy, systems, or execution. It is about aligning the inner game and outer game of leadership. Throughout the conversation, Rajesh explains that while frameworks such as EOS and Rockefeller Habits can produce exceptional business results, sustainable success requires leaders to develop the mindset, self-awareness, and emotional resilience needed to drive those systems effectively. Without this inner work, many founders achieve external success while sacrificing personal fulfilment, relationships, and wellbeing. Drawing on lessons from healthcare, entrepreneurship, and decades of coaching business owners, Rajesh highlights the importance of time-criticality, intentional leadership, and creating businesses that are aligned with personal values. He shares how fear, doubt, anxiety, and limiting beliefs can quietly undermine performance, even when a business appears successful on the surface. The discussion also explores the difference between the fruits of success and the experience of success. Rajesh challenges founders to think beyond revenue, growth, and achievement, and consider whether the business they build is actually creating the life they want to live. Rajesh introduces the CEO Freedom Operating System, a framework designed to help entrepreneurs align personal purpose with business outcomes, creating both commercial success and personal fulfilment. He explains how focusing on the inner game allows leaders to make better decisions, build stronger teams, and create lasting impact. This episode is a powerful reminder that the business you build should not come at the expense of your relationships, health, or happiness. Instead, it should become a vehicle for creating freedom, fulfilment, and a meaningful legacy both inside and outside the business. Discipline Determines EverythingDiscipline is not something you are born with—it is built. In a world that celebrates comfort, shortcuts, and instant gratification, discipline stands as the separator between average and greatness. In this powerful episode, we dive into why discipline is the foundation of success, purpose, and personal transformation. We explore how discipline is developed through doing the hard things when motivation is gone, refusing to negotiate with excuses, and learning to listen to the strong voice within instead of the weak one that seeks comfort. This conversation challenges the idea that discipline is simply about reaching goals and reveals why it is really about raising your standards and building a lifestyle that becomes part of who you are. You'll discover how keeping promises to yourself builds confidence, why mastering one area of life can unlock momentum everywhere else, and how discipline becomes the gateway to greatness and the life you were created to live.If you've been waiting to feel motivated, this episode is your reminder that discipline—not feelings—determines everything. Motivation doesn't last, discipline finds a way. At the end of your life it's not about the finish lines you cross (you will cross many if you grow your discipline), but it's all about who you have become during the process.Check out @ef3life and @the_life_to_the_fullest_podcast on social media as well as ef3life.com for more content including my best selling books: Winning With Money: Dollars & $ense, FIRE Burning Within, and The SAINT Next Door.

JT and Joe share great examples from real conversations with dentists and explain how understanding the story behind a practice can play a major role in determining value. ------------------------------------------------------------------------  Subscribe & Listen: Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/69Dz26hgC9D6YqwN8JMDBV Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/mb2-underground/id1747349567 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow MB2 Dental on Social: MB2 Dental: mb2dental.com Instagram: instagram.com/mb2dental Facebook: facebook.com/mb2dental YouTube: youtube.com/@mb2dental LinkedIn: linkedin.com/mb2-dental

A tiny course correction can change everything—our daily choices are quietly shaping a direction that leads somewhere. In Romans 6, Paul invites us to look honestly at the fruit of our lives and reminds us that we're not choosing isolated moments, but a trajectory that leads either toward death or toward life in Jesus. The good news is that through Christ, we've been set free to walk a new road—one formed not by what we earn, but by the gift of grace that leads to true life.Catch the sermon on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or bridge.tv/sermons.To support this ministry and help us continue our God given mission, click here: http://bit.ly/2NZkdrCSupport the show

In this episode, host Don Adeesha sits down with Chelsea Zainea to expose why strong revenue can still hide a financially fragile aesthetic practice. Chelsea breaks down the difference between looking successful and actually having the cash flow, reserves, and systems required to scale safely. Chelsea explains how owners can use a 13-week cash flow forecast, provider scorecards, utilization targets, and cash reserve benchmarks to make smarter hiring and expansion decisions. She also details why debt payments should not consume more than 50% of net profit and why practices should keep at least 10% of gross revenue in cash reserves. Her final warning is direct: do not expand a broken model, and do not use merchant cash advances as a shortcut for growth. The practice that wins is the one that plans every major decision around cash flow as its North Star.

World-Class Sleep Pioneer Says What You Eat Determines How You Sleep

The Debbie Nigro Show

Sleep issues are a BIG deal—just ask someone who's been up all night involuntarily. More than half of all Americans have difficulty falling or staying asleep. Good sleep is critical for "Keeping the 'Live' in 'Alive'!   I had a 'Random Run In' with Dr. Marie-Pierre St-Onge, PhD, a nutrition scientist and a pioneer in the field of sleep health. I was on an Amtrak to Boston, and I happened to choose the seat next to her. She was working diligently on her computer. I kept sneaking peaks at the bright fun patterned shirt she was wearing that I finally figured out reminded me of my old Peter Max stationery I loved so much as a kid. She was focused so I was quiet. At some point during the 3 ½ hour trip I asked what she was working on. (Couldn't help it - I'm a curious stranger talker) That's how I found out I was sitting next to a very big brain wrapped in a very small feminine body. Dr. Marie-Pierre St-Onge PhD is THE 'go-to' expert on the connection between food and sleep.   Dr. Marie-Pierre St-Onge, PhD, is a nutrition scientist and a pioneer in the field of sleep health.  She is the author of Eat Better, Sleep Better: 75 Recipes and A 28-Day Meal Plan That Unlock the Food-Sleep Connection (A Cookbook). She wrote it in a fun recipe collaboration with Kat Craddock Editor-in Chief, CEO and owner of SAVEUR the legacy food magazine. Developed with ingredients that trigger the body's dietary melatonin and serotonin, these recipes align with a Mediterranean diet and trigger a healthy circadian cycle, so you feel energetic during the day and ready for sleep at night. Dr. Marie-Pierre is also the founding director of the Center of Excellence for Sleep and Circadian Research at Columbia University, and her cutting-edge research combines her unique expertise on sleep, nutrition, and weight management to address overall health related to sleep.    The Big Takeaway for Me From Our Amtrak Conversation Was Learning That Sleep and Food Are Powerfully Connected! The way you eat affects how you sleep The way you sleep affects how you eat It's a loop… and if it's broken? You feel it.   Dr. Marie-Pierre made it simple: Better Diet = Better Sleep = Better Life And not in a "perfect eating" way… in a real-life, doable, smart swaps kind of way.   So What Should We Actually Be Eating To Sleep Better? No gimmicks here. Just smart, science-backed choices: Fiber-rich foods (hello whole grains) Healthy proteins (fish, salmon, nuts, seeds) Foods with tryptophan (the Thanksgiving turkey effect is real-ish ) Balanced meals—not heavy, late-night overloads And here's something people don't always realize Dr Marie mentioned: Alcohol may help you fall asleep… but it messes with your sleep later. And Wait… "Sweets for Sleep"? I'm Listening… Now THIS caught my attention. There are actually desserts designed to SUPPORT sleep—like: Sesame shortbread cookies Chamomile ginger panna cotta They're: Lower in sugar Thoughtfully balanced Built with ingredients that help your body relax So yes… you can have your dessert and your sleep. Just smarter.   Timing Matters More Than You Think One thing I loved learning from Dr. Marie? This isn't about a "magic bedtime snack." It's about your entire day of eating. Because your body needs time to: Digest Absorb Convert nutrients (like tryptophan into sleep-supporting compounds) This is a lifestyle—not a quick fix. But it matters.   And About Those Sleep Trackers… I had to ask. Her answer? Refreshingly sane:  Use them  Learn from them  BUT… don't let them run your life Because how you feel still matters.   My Debservation? We spend so much time chasing energy… …but we ignore the foundation of it—sleep. And if food is part of the solution? That's empowering. Because it means we have more control than we think.   Now back to Dr. Marie-Pierre I have no clue when this sleep expert has time to sleep. Lol She's a very busy woman!   Born and educated in Québec, Canada, Dr. Marie-Pierre St-Onge lives with her family in New Jersey. When I met her on Amtrak, she was working on a presentation that she was supposed to have made in person in Chicago that day. However, airplane delays landed her instead on the Amtrak to Boston where she would do the presentation virtually and still be in the right place for another yet another presentation in Boston.  Dr. Marie-Pierre St-Onge, PhD is the recipient of an Outstanding Investigator Award from the NHLBI (National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute) at the NIH, and she is a Fulbright Scholar as well as a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine.  She has authored close to 170 peer-reviewed publications and received scientific achievement awards from the American Heart Association and American Society for Clinical Nutrition.   Amazing right?   But Even Sleep Experts Get Tired. I noticed after typing for hours in the seat next to me that Dr. Marie-Pierre had started to doze off.   When she woke up I offered her a sample Alert Pop™.   What are the chances?   I was on Amtrak that day heading to Boston to meet a major distributor for a new product called Alert Pop™! I'm a Founding Partner of the company behind this new 'better for you' sugar free caffeinated functional energy lollipop that was invented by my partner Stephen Caldwell to help prevent drowsy driving.    Did you know 1 in 25 drivers admit to falling asleep at the wheel? I figured Dr. Marie could appreciate the purpose of the product and told her I'd love her opinion.  She liked it! Perked her right up. I thought maybe we could somehow collaborate.   Anyway, we exchanged contacts and honestly, I felt she was way too impressive a 'random run in' to keep to myself.  So, I'm sharing her and her knowledge with you all today on my Wellness Wednesday Show.   Listen to the Full Interview If you missed it, here's my conversation with Dr. Marie-Pierre St-Onge PhD on The Debbie Nigro Show. It's packed with insights that could genuinely change how you feel every single day.   And it starts with a simple and powerful premise... What you eat today will determine how you sleep tonight.   And 'Good Sleep' is key to "Keeping the Live in Alive! "    Best! Debbie

Threat density is what really drives behavior, not motivation. When the consequences are real and immediate, I don't act based on how I feel, I act based on what I have to do. When there's no real threat, I start doing whatever I feel like doing, and that's when standards drop. The key is understanding that behavior comes from structure, not willpower. In this episode, I explain how to create environments where the right actions are the only option. Show Notes: [07:29]#1 High threat density compresses decision making. The blueprint for your life starts much earlier than you realise - long before you took your first breath, before your heart beat its first beat, before your mum and dad even met.  This is the story of the first 1,000 days of life. From conception to age 2, a window so powerful that scientists now believe it influences our future risk of heart disease, obesity, diabetes, and even how our immune system reacts to the world. In this episode, the world's leading expert on how childhood nutrition and metabolism shape our long-term health, Professor Lucilla Poston, explains how early nutrition may influence appetite, metabolism, and future disease risk.  Lucilla and ZOE's Head Nutritionist, Dr Federica Amati, break down what science says about pregnancy, early feeding and the food children eat, and questions how lifelong health is shaped before a child even chooses their first meal. Lucilla offers practical guidance on what matters most and explains key nutrients to consider. They discuss why regular movement may help support healthy blood sugar levels. They also explain what a balanced diet can look like for parents and young children, why babies should try a wide range of whole foods, and why many packaged baby foods may contain far more sugar than parents expect. What small choices can you make today to help shape a healthier future for you, your children, and your children's children?
