I'm about to say what other health influencers refuse to say. Others in the chronic illness recovery business told me this message was "too risky" for their brand. Or it wasn't "brand aligned". Then, one by one, they jumped on the nervous system regulation bandwagon full of buzz words. And that has creates a lot of problems for people. Here's the truth you need to know: There are no separate systems in your body. Your nervous system isn't broken. Your body is simply reflecting your feelings back to you. In this video, I expose why the recovery industry profits from keeping you stuck in labels and protocols instead of teaching you how to listen to what your body is actually communicating. Join the Release program to speed up your healing from ME/CFS, Chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, MCAS, Post-Vac and other chronic illnesses.

Today, Neil takes a look at the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the tutoring, teaching, and coaching industries. Drawing from his 26 years of experience, Neil shares personal anecdotes and practical examples of how AI tools can streamline mundane tasks, enhance productivity, and support creative processes. He notes that while AI can be a valuable addition to our toolkit, it cannot replace the human elements of empathy, creativity, and connection that educators bring to their work. KEY TAKEAWAYS AI should be viewed as an addition to our toolkit rather than a substitute for human creativity and connection. It can handle mundane tasks, allowing educators to focus on more meaningful interactions with students. AI can assist in various tasks such as note-taking during meetings, generating graphics, conducting research, and even website design. These applications can save time and improve efficiency in both teaching and business operations. While AI can automate certain processes, it cannot replicate the human elements of teaching, such as empathy, humour, and the ability to connect with students on a personal level. The unique qualities of educators remain irreplaceable. Embracing AI involves strategically integrating it into work and life without fully depending on it. This approach allows individuals to leverage AI's capabilities while maintaining their own critical thinking and creativity. As AI technology evolves, so should our understanding and use of it. Staying informed about new AI tools and improving our ability to prompt these tools will enhance their effectiveness in supporting our goals. BEST MOMENTS "AI is here and it's not going away. What will happen is it will continue to expand the impact on what you and I do day by day." "As good as it is, AI systems can't yet do the more creative stuff that we do in our work." "You and I are the soul of our business. We are the vital creative spark that ignites the work." "AI can be useful to us in the elimination of grunt work, the mundane, repetitive tasks." "What I'm suggesting really is strategic integration of artificial intelligence into your work, into your life." BT & Sal kick off the show addressing the elephant in the room—the breaking news about Craig Carton's inevitable return to the station—and commit to delivering the same "damn good show" regardless of the downstream effects. They then dive into a fiery post-mortem of Joe Shane's press conference, dismissing it as irrelevant compared to the bigger picture. Sal is definitive: the Giants' underperformance proves Shane must go, and he should not be allowed to pick the next head coach. Tierney argues that the Giants' job is actually highly appealing due to the lack of an Eli Manning transition roadblock, and the presence of a promising young QB in Jaxson Dart. Sal counters that the uncertainty and instability at the top of the organization make it an "unstable mess," and that the team's regression under Shane's roster influence is undeniable proof that a total clean sweep is necessary. The hosts and callers agree that there is "no support for Joe Shane" left among the fans.
BT & Sal immediately address the "elephant in the room"—the widely reported, yet unofficial, inevitable return of Craig Carton—and the future implications for their show. With that out of the way, the focus shifts to the Giants' "unstable mess." Sal emphatically argues that Joe Shane's four-year tenure has resulted in regression, and his continued presence should be a "fireable offense" that owner John Mara must correct. Tierney argues that, despite the chaos, the Giants job is now "incredibly appealing" due to the presence of QB Jaxson Dart and the potential for a clean GM/Coach synergy, possibly featuring a proven veteran like Thomas Dimitroff. They debate whether a big name like Bill Belichick is the right fit, with Tierney questioning if Belichick's age and the "unnecessary noise" from his personal life could be a problem in the high-pressure New York market. Finally, they cover the Perfect Parlay standings, with BT on a heater (6-0 in the last two weeks!) surging past Sal, who declares he's playing "under protest" due to a half-point line discrepancy on his missed Turkey Day Teaser.

You can read today's edition of The 7 newsletter here. While The 7 podcast takes a break today, we wanted to share this Post Reports episode from earlier this month. It's about the movie, “A House of Dynamite,” a new thriller on Netflix about nuclear war. Kathryn Bigelow has been thinking about the threat of nuclear war ever since she was a kid. “I come from the era of duck and cover,” she says, “where when I was very little, we had to hide under the desk in the event of an atomic bomb blast.”Over the last 40 years, she's been directing tightly-paced thrillers such as “The Hurt Locker” (which won her the Academy Award for best director) and “Zero Dark Thirty.” Her latest film, “A House of Dynamite,” takes on a question that has been on her mind for decades: What would happen if the U.S. were targeted by a nuclear missile? The film, which is out on Netflix, has struck a nerve with audiences, becoming the streamer's most-watched movie in the world and igniting conversation about the accuracy of its depiction of the U.S. missile defense system. Today on Post Reports, Elahe Izadi speaks with Kathryn Bigelow and with the film's screenwriter, Noah Oppenheim, about why they chose to make this film in this moment, and about how they responded when they saw news that the U.S. could restart nuclear testing for the first time in decades. Today's show was produced by Peter Bresnan and Josh Carroll, with help from Emma Talkoff. It was edited by Reena Flores and mixed by Sean Carter. Subscribe to The Washington Post here. Science has finally established the perfect age gap for siblings, but who is this helping? One of our hosts hates it more than others. And it's the Wicked elephant in the room: Hollywood's return to extreme thinness is prompting us to question what's being modelled to our sons and daughters. Also, the rising trend of kindymoons. What are they? Who's taking them and why? We discuss. Plus, we deep-dive into the multi-billion dollar trend of matching Christmas pyjamas and whether this consumer identity is really for the kids, or just for the 'gram. Monique, Stacey and Amelia share where they stand. Our Recommendations:

Let's talk about the elephant in the room, and the 5 questions you MUST ask your next lover. Leonarda Minutillo is a poet, writer, teacher, mom, and speaker (even in ASL). She studied at York University in Toronto with an Honours BA with Physical Education /Psychology; B.Ed at University of Toronto; Deaf Ed at York University; and then, with an International Rotary Scholarship attended Gallaudet University in WDC, the only university in the world tailored to Deaf students. It was a dream come true. Leonarda is now making a big career shift slowly leaving the classroom and stepping into the role of writer and poet where she has not only found great healing but also a long-awaited connection to her intuition. After publishing her first poetry book, "The Day I Bought a Teddy Bear and a Vibrator", Leonarda says the whole process has been incredibly transformational. In episode 608 of the Fraternity Foodie Podcast, we find out what inspired Leonarda to start writing poetry and how that helped to reclaim her voice, how learning to listen to her intuition changed the trajectory of her life, how college students can channel creativity to heal from heartbreak or self-doubt, how she defines self-love in a world where people often seek validation from others, what are the 5 conscious questions to ask a potential lover so you can take care of yourself, what is the P.I.E. Principle, how studying at Gallaudet University shaped her perspective on communication and connection, how young people learn to see endings as beginnings, what role does community play in healing and self-discovery, how transitioning from teaching to writing and speaking full time taught her courage, and what advice she would give her younger self. Enjoy!
NOTE TO LISTENER: This liturgy begins a series of sermons on the spirituality, meaning, and theology of the liturgy. To illustrate the importance of ceremony Fr. Vincent processed in wearing a white, black, and blue plaid shirt. No reason was given for this to the congregation until the sermon. Twenthieh Sunday after Pentecost Old Testament: Jeremiah 14:7-10, 19-22 7Although our iniquities testify against us, act, O Lord, for your name's sake; our apostasies indeed are many, and we have sinned against you.8O hope of Israel, its savior in time of trouble, why should you be like a stranger in the land, like a traveler turning aside for the night? 9Why should you be like someone confused, like a mighty warrior who cannot give help? Yet you, O Lord, are in the midst of us, and we are called by your name; do not forsake us! 10Thus says the Lord concerning this people: Truly they have loved to wander, they have not restrained their feet; therefore the Lord does not accept them, now he will remember their iniquity and punish their sins.19Have you completely rejected Judah? Does your heart loathe Zion? Why have you struck us down so that there is no healing for us? We look for peace, but find no good; for a time of healing, but there is terror instead.20We acknowledge our wickedness, O Lord, the iniquity of our ancestors, for we have sinned against you. 21Do not spurn us, for your name's sake; do not dishonor your glorious throne; remember and do not break your covenant with us. 22Can any idols of the nations bring rain? Or can the heavens give showers? Is it not you, O Lord our God? We set our hope on you, for it is you who do all this. Psalm: Psalm 84:1-6 1 How dear to me is your dwelling, O Lord of hosts! * My soul has a desire and longing for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh rejoice in the living God. 2 The sparrow has found her a house and the swallow a nest where she may lay her young; * by the side of your altars, O Lord of hosts, my King and my God. 3 Happy are they who dwell in your house! * they will always be praising you. 4 Happy are the people whose strength is in you! * whose hearts are set on the pilgrims' way. 5 Those who go through the desolate valley will find it a place of springs, * for the early rains have covered it with pools of water. 6 They will climb from height to height, * and the God of gods will reveal himself in Zion. Epistle: 2 Timothy 4:6-8, 16-18 6As for me, I am already being poured out as a libation, and the time of my departure has come. 7I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8From now on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 16At my first defense no one came to my support, but all deserted me. May it not be counted against them! 17But the Lord stood by me and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. So I was rescued from the lion's mouth.18The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and save me for his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. Gospel: Luke 18:9-14 9He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous and regarded others with contempt: 10"Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11The Pharisee, standing by himself, was praying thus, 'God, I thank you that I am not like other people: thieves, rogues, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. 12I fast twice a week; I give a tenth of all my income.' 13But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even look up to heaven, but was beating his breast and saying, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner!' 14I tell you, this man went down to his home justified rather than the other; for all who exalt themselves will be humbled, but all who humble themselves will be exalted."
It's Friday morning which means Joe Ostrowski and Sam Panayotovich are discussing their Friday Feels, hitting on the one major elephant in the room.
We explore how avoidance, disguised as politeness, slowly erodes trust — and how courageous conversations can actually strengthen relationships and performance. Katherine breaks down what “calling out the elephant” looks like in practice: reading the emotional landscape, choosing timing over impulse, and speaking truth without weaponizing it.From emotional intelligence to communication frameworks, we examine how leaders can replace fear with curiosity — and transform tension into alignment.TL;DR* Avoidance kills trust faster than conflict ever will.* Clarity + compassion = productive honesty.* Name the issue early — silence grows resentment.* True kindness includes telling the truth.* Courageous dialogue builds stronger, safer teams.Memorable lines* “Kindness without honesty is just avoidance in disguise.”* “The longer you avoid the elephant, the bigger it gets.”* “When you name what's real, people finally exhale.”* “Courage isn't about comfort — it's about connection.”Guest: Katherine Lazaruk — Founder, LZRK Consulting | Executive Coach & Keynote Speaker LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/katherinelazaruk/ Website: https://lzrkconsulting.com/Why it mattersEvery organization has its unspoken truths — unaddressed conflicts, performance gaps, or cultural tension. On this week's episode of Fearless we're returning to our “Elephant in the Room” series, this time tackling a topic almost no one talks about: generational sin. I didn't want to talk about this today either, but after a season where both public and private sins seemed to be everywhere we looked, I felt led to address it here. We talk about how all sin starts out small, but if we're not careful to guard our hearts it will inevitably grow into something we maybe didn't plan, but definitely can no longer control. Sin is also not just a private issue—remember the Coldplay concert couple we all saw cheating on their spouses this summer?—sin affects every area of our lives, including our most important relationships. If left unconfessed and unchecked, sin has the power to be passed down to our kids, our kids' kids, and all the way down the line. Generational sin is a real thing, and it's something we as the church need to be addressing. But even though this topic is on the heavier side, we're not without hope when it comes to combatting the sin in our lives. We have the power, through Christ living within us, to stop sin in its tracks and prevent it from affecting the generations to come. If you're needing a healthy dose of conviction today, you'll find it here, but we'll also leave you with the encouragement, next steps, and practical tools needed to stop sin from becoming a generational problem before it starts.

Hello, everyone! We are back with Golden Bachelor Mel and his journey to find a woman who doesn't care about what he said months ago about wanting to find a match who is fifteen years younger than he is, with no artificial joints. Isn't this fun? ABC wasted no time finding delightful women with very forgiving hearts. They think Mel is a catch, and they will stop at nothing to prove to him that women in their golden years are full of life! Full of energy! And, if your name is Nicholle, full of cringe-worthy moments that involve her tongue down Mel's throat. Can someone find me a couch cushion to hide behind, please? Thanks! Newt talks with Erik Bork, the Emmy award-winning writer and director of the new film "The Elephant in the Room." The film is a romantic comedy that explores the challenges of political polarization through the story of a progressive woman who discovers her seemingly perfect partner voted for President Trump. Bork shares insights into his career, starting with his break from Tom Hanks, and discusses the creative process behind the film, including the challenges of portraying political differences authentically. He also delves into the complexities of independent filmmaking, from fundraising through platforms like Wefunder, to navigating distribution in a crowded media landscape. Bork emphasizes the importance of marketing and word-of-mouth in promoting independent films and highlights the potential for community screenings to foster discussion on political polarization. The film is available on major streaming platforms, and interested groups can host screenings to engage in dialogue about the film's themes. https://elephantintheroomfilm.comSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
