He shares his story about being raised Jewish, living on a kibbutz in Israel and the impactful relationship he had with a rabbi who was his mentor and a leader in his community during his formative years. We talk about trying to duplicate the spiritual experience through ritual, 'chasing the Jewish dragon' and what a truly challenging task it is to accept reality. Hi Death Steppers! I found out I was able to actually edit this podcast but I DIDN'T do it out of sheer laziness. (well, except for one moment when I openly blow my nose) Beep! Beep! Put on your HARD hat. This podcast is UNDER CONSTRUCTION.  We are still in "limbo" here at One Step Closer To Death (minus all those unbaptized infants!!! ). That means: this is just another general life update in which I never actually get to the point.
