i don't know what it is about modular synthesis, the eurorack seems to me to be the first western devotional drone instrument, but i figure there's something acoustic i just haven't seen yet. anyways, it's okay, the electricity comes from a mile of buried pipe which reduces in size forcing a stream of water to concentrate its liberation into a bunch of scoops which spin a wheel that agitates copper which sends the electrostatic friction through more copper until it gets eaten in containers filled with lead and acid like a stomach. then we inject that energy into the black box and out comes pulsating tones that speak of bees and rocks, fallen leaves and sudden drops. these are old folk songs a few times removed. electricity flowing steadily allows the synthesizer to draw out noise unwaveringly which enables the synthesist to engage in longform dialogues with waveforms. the violin that was bowed infinitely in a canyon which reverberated unbroken all the way up to the mountains and all the way down to the sea. if you are a writer and you need deep ambience, look no further, if you would like the uncut version, let me know. order custom made one-of-a-kind cassette tapes direct via LEVIATHANBEGONE at the email server RISEUP dot NET.
