Ben Hartman is back for his third visit to the PricePlow Podcast in Episode #221, and Morphogen Nutrition has never been in a stronger position. Ben walks through everything: the second rebrand’s full backstory, a never-before-told story about a failed acquisition that nearly sold the company, the financial reckoning that followed, and how selling the building and moving to a 3PL model finally cleared the slate. He calls this the best formula work Morphogen has ever done, at the healthiest margins in company history. The conversation covers AlphaGEN’s return to 10g L-Tyrosine, why PRIME is the anchor of the entire health line, details like how he navigates AstraGin® and BioPerine® across a multi-product stack, and the surprising origin of CALM. Then comes the main event: the Nick Walker equity partnership, explained in full, including some of the financial structure the internet has been speculating about. The episode closes with a frank look at the longevity wave ahead, the natural-vs.-enhanced debate, and a nostalgic look back at the golden age of stimulants. In Episode 317 of The Block Runner Podcast, hosts William and I-man unpack why this Bitcoin cycle felt like a failed rocket launch, how unrealistic expectations soured market sentiment, and what Bitcoin's diminishing returns mean for miners and the long-term security budget. They then dive into the real world asset wave sweeping crypto: graded sports cards and Pokemon moving on-chain, Meteora and OpenSea entering the RWA arena, and what past collectible bubbles, from tulips to trading cards, teach us about speculative media. Finally, they share NAT.fun updates: the second rocket launch, a move toward systemic periodic launches, fame-score based caps, and ten thousand dollars up for grabs for creators. Disclosure: The hosts are founders of NAT.fun and hold positions in assets discussed. Nothing in this episode is financial advice. Paul Mort joins James Smith for a no-holds-barred conversation on work-life balance, building a business you don't want to escape, and why most people are chasing a version of freedom they haven't earned yet. A two-time Master Coach of the Year, bestselling author, and podcast host, Paul Mort makes the case that work-life balance isn't a time problem or a workload problem; it's a clarity problem, and you can't hit a target you can't see.

Mike Johnson and Beau Morgan react to the news that the AFCA Board recommended expanding the College Football Playoffs with maximum participation, elimination of conference title games, and ending the College Football Playoff by mid-January. Mike and Beau also let you hear what Georgia Bulldogs Head Football Coach Kirby Smart had to say about College Football Playoff expansion when he did a one on one interview recently with College Football writer and analyst Josh Pate, react to what Coach Smart had to say, and explain why they think 16 or more College Football Playoff teams becomes law of diminishing returns.

Michael Kofman joins Ryan to unpack the current state of the Russo-Ukrainian War after his recent trip to the front. They examine how drone warfare has transformed the battlefield into a dispersed contest over a vast kill zone, why Russian infiltration tactics have failed to produce meaningful gains, and how Ukraine is working to close gaps in its strike capabilities. They also explore the growing pressure from Russian long-range strikes and how the war in Iran is beginning to shape the conflict.
More effort doesn't always mean more results. In this episode of The Level Up Podcast, Paul Alex breaks down a truth most workaholics refuse to accept—the law of diminishing returns. Grinding harder feels productive. Pushing longer feels disciplined. But there comes a point where your extra effort stops producing results… And starts producing mistakes, burnout, and wasted time. If you've ever sat at your desk for hours trying to force a breakthrough… You already know this feeling. The truth is: Exhaustion doesn't create excellence—clarity does. In this episode, you'll learn: Why working longer hours can actually hurt your performance How to recognize when your output is declining, not improving Why stepping away is sometimes the most productive move you can make How to shift your energy toward high-impact, scalable activities The elite don't just work hard… They know when to stop, reset, and come back sharper. Because when you protect your energy, you protect your execution—and that's where real results are built. Your Network is your NETWORTH! In this episode of Longevity by Design, host Dr. Gil Blander sits down with Dr. Uri Alon, Professor at Weizmann Institute of Science. They explore a systems view of aging that treats longevity as a solvable model, not a grab bag of disconnected theories.Uri explains aging with a simple story: houses make garbage, trucks remove it, and the village has a threshold for how much damage it can handle. In the body, “garbage” can include damaged and senescent cells, “trucks” can include immune cleanup, and “houses” can include long-lived cells and stem cells that drift over time. The model links this balance to death, disease, and steady decline, and it helps predict which interventions actually change it.They also revisit the role of genes. Uri argues that lifespan looks closer to 50% heritable today after correcting for early, non-aging deaths in older datasets. The rest comes from the environment and biological noise, which regular sleep may help reduce.Guest-at-a-Glance

James Ruskin's Blueprint Records celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026. Kicking off the festivities Vinicius Honorio returns to the label but this time it's alongside R.M.K who makes his Blueprint debut. Vinicius Honorio is a Brazilian-born, London-based DJ and producer whose vision of techno is built on hypnotic repetition, gritty textures and emotional weight. With a career spanning over 2 decades, Vinicius has emerged as a powerful voice in contemporary techno — raw, focused and unflinchingly honest. His productions blend relentless drive with intricate groove, often laced with haunting melodic undertones and has released music on the likes of Figure, Token, Mord and SK_eleven, as well as Blueprint. Hailing from London, R.M.K is the alias of Fossil Archive label head Roberto, representing a faster and more intense take on his unique brand of Techno. During his 20+ year career in music, he has formed friendships and worked in partnership with other respected artists such as Trevino (Marcus Intalex), Jamie Anderson, Robert Owens, Goldie and Nastia. Although the focus is always on the very heart of the most raucous of raves, R.M.K never shies away from groove and funk. Making a complementary duo, their collaborative “Diminishing Returns” EP is released in February with a 4-track vinyl EP, plus a bonus track on the digital edition.

We walk through an analysis done on almost 15,000 people with data up to nearly 7 years in length and after finding similar trends in Kolie's client and personal data, we apply what we can learn about diminishing returns to our training expectations, season planning, stimulus and recovery needs, our ultimate potential, and what it means for interpreting scientific literature.
In this episode, we discuss the growing role of humanoid robots in everyday life, why new technologies always reach the wealthy first, and how falling costs eventually make innovation accessible to the middle class. We turn to global efforts to restrict social media access for children, examining the real harms platforms create, why enforcement rarely works, and how questions of consent and freedom apply differently to minors. We highlight the week's “foolishness,” including exaggerated tariff claims and the political incentives behind economic misinformation, before looking at how public discourse has deteriorated as cruelty and performative outrage become normalized. We then examine California's accelerating business exodus, focusing on energy companies leaving the state, the consequences of heavy regulation and taxation, the limits of government control over capital-intensive industries, and what these trends reveal about tradeoffs, governance, and long-term economic sustainability. 00:00 Introduction and Overview 00:37 Humanoid Robots as Household Tools, Not Job Killers 02:31 Robots as Productivity Multipliers for the Middle Class 04:14 Why Wealthy People Will Always Get New Tech First 05:57 Technology Gets Cheaper, Better, and More Accessible Over Time 08:46 The Inevitable Cultural Direction of Robot Technology 09:17 Social Media Bans for Minors Go Global 11:13 The Real Harm Social Media Does to Children 14:25 Foolishness of the Week: Trump's $18 Trillion Tariff Claim 17:15 Why the Tariff Math Doesn't Pass the Smell Test 18:23 Political Incentives, Lies, and Follower Frenzy 21:09 Trump's Rob Reiner Statement and the Collapse of Decorum 23:45 When Leaders Normalize Public Cruelty 26:09 Why Businesses Are Fleeing California 28:53 Taxes, Regulations, and the Real Price of Gas 33:14 Environmental Tradeoffs and Global CO2 Reality 38:50 California's Plan to Nationalize Oil Refineries 40:53 Why Government Cannot Run Capital-Intensive Businesses 44:44 Diminishing Returns and Regulatory Overreach 47:23 Pareto Optimality and Why Tradeoffs Matter 55:06 The Economic Death Spiral of Business Exodus 57:32 Is California Too Big to Govern Effectively? 01:02:07 Closing Reflections and Final Thoughts Learn more about your ad choices. In this episode of the Very Clinical Podcast, hosts Zach and Kevin welcome back special guest Dr. Frank Clayton for a deep-dive conversation sharing essential advice on navigating a dental career from its beginning stages to retirement. The discussion kicks off with lighthearted banter about alternative dream careers—Zach as a baseball play-by-play announcer, Kevin as a morning radio host, and Frank as a game show host. For the early career dentist (Years 1–7), Frank advises working for a couple of years, then investing heavily in CE to establish a clinical niche (like his focus on form, function, and aesthetics), and, most critically, living well below one's means while investing consistently with a dental-specific financial planner—advice that Kevin reinforces by telling listeners to "gamble on yourself." During the middle-game grind (Years 10–25), Frank recommends shedding unhappy or unprofitable procedures to embrace the "boring" but profitable, repetitive work, while utilizing advanced tax-sheltering strategies like Cash Balance Plans; Kevin shares that he reinvigorated his middle career by learning implants, which provided financial and time freedom. Finally, addressing the last third of a career (Years 25+), Frank stresses the importance of viewing the practice as a valuable asset and advises starting the exit planning process five years out, focusing on selling at the top—by knowing the office's maximum production capacity (the Law of Diminishing Returns)—rather than limping to the finish line. In retirement, Frank finds liberation in being "just Frank," free from the burden of daily high-stakes decisions, and encourages other dentists to find a new focus rather than fearing the loss of the "doctor" identity. In this episode, I cover the following questions:Any tips to help impatience in a cut?Do you get diminishing returns in muscle gain with each new bulk? Is there anything special about the muscle-building capacity of your first bulk?Do you need to keep dropping cals in a deficit? If you eat at maintenance (a range, but an average of the same calories a week) and train doing progressive overload, will you gain muscle slowly and does that mean the scale will go up? Or stay the same over time? How does the thyroid affect fat loss?Started lifting seriously last year in January and I was in maintenance for 13 months, then started a calorie deficit since I am overweight. I kept (and keep) on lifting hard 3 times a week. Can I still build a decent amount of muscle after another 2-3 months in a deficit and then maintenance again? What are some underrated advantages of eating at maintenance calories?Links and resources:Sign up for one on one coaching with me: https://www.fittotransformtraining.com/coaching.htmlFollow me on Instagram @nikias_fittotransform: http://instagram.com/nikias_fittotransform/Visit my website: https://www.fittotransformtraining.comSign up for my free newsletter: https://mailchi.mp/157389602fb0/mailinglistSign up for the No Quit Kit email series on retraining your mindset for long-term fat loss success: https://mailchi.mp/4b368c26baa8/noquitkitsignupTake my free “Should You Cut or Bulk First?” quiz: https://nikias-dddr9p81.scoreapp.com/
Modern techno-industrial civilization is running up against the law of diminishing returns - and societal collapse is inevitable. B, author of The Honest Sorcerer blog, reveals why our civilizational complexity carries the seeds of its own destruction. Highlights include: What led B (who also shares his reasons for remaining anonymous) from believing modern civilization would persist for centuries to recognizing collapse as inevitable; Why diminishing returns on energy, materials, and innovation are central to the collapse of complex societies; Why societal collapse is a long process taking place over decades or centuries rather than a single event, unfolding as a stair-step decline with sharp drops in complexity followed by brief recoveries and stabilizations; Why declining fertility rates should be embraced as a natural adjustment to overpopulation, rather than a cause for elite-driven panic; Why collapse will be liberating for some, devastating for most, and why adaptation to a simpler life will favor poorer communities that already know how to live simply; How and when to strategically leverage large-scale political change, and the role writers, thinkers, and local action can play in helping people face collapse more calmly . The podcast explores needed narrative, behavioral, and system shifts for recreating human life in balance with all life on Earth. With expert guests from wide-ranging disciplines, we examine the forces underlying overshoot: from patriarchal pronatalism that is fueling overpopulation, to growth-biased economic systems that lead to consumerism and social injustice, to the dominant worldview of human supremacy that subjugates animals and nature. Our vision of shrinking toward abundance inspires us to seek pathways of transformation that go beyond technological fixes toward a new humanity that honors our interconnectedness with all beings. In this episode, Louisiana farmer and entrepreneur Grant Estrade shares a grounded, no-nonsense approach to running a regenerative farm business without sacrificing personal well-being or profitability. As the co-owner of Local Cooling Farms and Laughing Buddha Nursery, Grant has spent over two decades balancing the tension between growth and sustainability. He explores the internal tug-of-war many graziers feel between "saving the world" and simply maintaining a farm that works — financially, personally, and relationally. Rather than chasing every opportunity for expansion, Grant challenges farmers to step into the mindset of an economist, making clear-eyed decisions based on realistic assessments of production capacity, sales channels, and return on investment.

Concluding the series on hypoxia inducible factor in skeletal muscle, we go in depth with a paper investigating regulation pathways that blunt HIF's effects in well trained athletes, plus speculate as to whether the Pasteur effect is something worth worrying about while considering other evidence and parallel adaptive pathways. We also ponder some practical takeaways for very well trained endurance athletes as well as for those earlier in their training career.
