A weekly podcast of our DND sessions. A new episode comes out every Monday. Sometimes a party can be 2 people and a Confused DM
We venture away from Dungeons and Dragons and move into the land of gritty fantasy, though I don't feel like and of the times I've played we got very gritty. We're building a Witcher in The Witcher Pen and Paper.
Kayla is in their element this week as we build one of their favorite types of characters in Dungeons and Dragons, the Cleric. This is the last of our beginner DnD builds for a bit, next week we will teach you guys how to build a Witcher.
This week we discuss more Dungeons and Dragons, and specifically the magic of Dnd. We teach you how to build a Wizard character, and play around with more character traits. So far this is a fun series to make, and we are excited to get into even more games. Next week will be one more DnD build, but after that, we explore more games.
This is something very new for the Podcast, and very much a test for us, but this is a discussion Podcast where we talk about Table Top games, our experiences with them, and help you as listeners prepare to play them. We are starting out for brand new players with week, talking about our first Table Top experiences, and guiding you towards building your first character in Dungeons and Dragons. If you enjoy what we do, let us know, and there is more to come. Our game night session is in a break for now but will return alongside this series.
This going to be the end of the Library adventure . . . For now! Eberron will be back next week!
This is a short one-shot this week playing Kobold Endeavors by Grant Howitt. If you like it, go check it out, it's free to download.
We return to the Library this week to get closer to our answers, despite some encounters that seemed a bit too spooky.
Today's episode is a day early for Easter! What better game for an Easter special than Witcher Pen and Paper?
Kayla is here running a new campaign in her homebrew DnD world of the Library.Â
Soot and Ridley finally get some time to relax and do what they please in Fairhaven. Eberron will go on break for a couple of weeks while Kayla runs a short campaign.
This looks like the end of the next stage of the Eberron campaign, and the conclusion of the quest in Aundair.
After having a good time during the nightlife, the players get to explore the new daytime shenanigans.Â
It's an off week for Eberron this week, but we have this goofy one-shot run by Kayla for your listening pleasure. Â Sid Made a Homebrew you can get here:Â https://www.dmsguild.com/product/269375/Subclass-Savant-Volume-1-Barbarian-Paladin-and-Warlock-Subclasses?term=subclass+savant
The team grows and the dungeoning and dragoning commence. Sorry about the weird audio in the last few minutes, stuff is weird.   Greasmonkey's Handbook that Sid mentions: https://www.dmsguild.com/product/259520/The-Greasemonkeys-Handbook-Rules-for-piloting-Magitech-Steampunk-and-Sci-Fi-mechs-in-DD-5th-Edition?src=hottest_filtered&filters=45469 The Hungover Adventurers Guide that inspired Allistair's Quest:  https://www.dmsguild.com/product/248818/The-Hungover-Adventure-Guide?term=the+hung&filters=45469
Old friends return in the city of Fairhaven, as our players reach the capital of Aundair.
It's time for the players to leave home for a grand adventure . . . after some fishing . . . and maybe some shopping.
This is the end of the first chapter of our Eberron campaign. From here on out, all of Eberron is open to the players.
Solanacea still has it's troubles even without our players, so it's time they got back to work!
With Dragon Heist on hold, there will probably be more time for One-Shots with silly games like this! Go play Troika it's so easy to start and super fun.
A new ally appears with some curious information.Â
Today we meet i guess deities of this world.
This is probably the last Dungeon World game with these characters, we all really enjoyed it, so it will likely get played again, but not super sure when next. Stacy and Max will return for a future project, so keep an eye out for them.
Time for a rightful journey to begin for our players. We learn more about them and they learn about themselves.
I guess we weren't supposed to know the leader of Bragen Dearth yet, but because reasons its more like a fun meeting.
First, we find some weird thing we haven't heard of, then we have to find more of them.
Looks like there are some interesting developments with the new lead.
We're back to Eberron with our heroes encountering some new sketchy individuals.
A bad lead, but a wonderful little distraction.
I'm getting the sense that stuff is about to go down!
In this episode, Kingsly finds himself a bit in over his head.
We return to the Frozen Waste with Dungeon World this week, and we will be returning to Eberron next week. Who knows, maybe Dungeon World will show up another day of the week.
Illy has a really bad idea, and we are all terrible enablers.
Sorry for the abrupt ending but it lined up with the half hour so well.
This episode is either full of very good, or very bad ideas.
So sorry for the audio of this episode, it was spur of the moment, but now we know how to record over discord now. There will be more Dungeon World, we promise and it will be recorded properly.
This is the beginning of a pretty long session where we have a surprisingly good time with Bureaucracy.
Someone needs to get our 100 gold.
The sewer unsurprisingly keeps getting worse!
This time things get mystical and our players find themselves unraveling some very old magic.
Sewers are a wonderful and intuitive setting . . . and gross.
Our new friend almost narks on us to the guards immediately!
We get rolling this week with some combat and meeting a new ally.
The characters are made, the world is built, and we are in Eberron!
Our players seem to be finding more information than expected on their hunt for Mr. Bagmaar and now Mr. Neverember.
Our unlikely pair is on the search for Volo's BFF, and best name in the book, Floon Blagmar!
Welcome to our new bite-sized episodes of P2BW, in the form of Dragon Heist. Kayla will be DMing the module and most of the sessions will be 30-40 minutes but come out more often than once a week.
This week Sid goes a bit into his process of setting up a Dungeons and Dragons game and setting up Carter and Kayla's characters. Next week will be the beginning of a Campaign in the world of Eberron.
Happy Halloween, enjoy our Witcher Halloween special, probably with a suitable alcoholic beverage. I am sure we seem better at the game after a few drinks.
Finally jumping back into out mystery with the Call of Cthulu crew, and discovering a whole new kind monster!
This week we try another game by Grant Howitt and Chris Taylor called Spire. Expect to see more of this game, we had a good time, and it looks like there is another chapter that we will have to revisit.
This week we return to the One Piece campaign in a new way. Hayden is off for the week, so Call of Cthulu will return later, but this week we play Skyfarer. The One Piece characters have been adapted to this new game by Grant Howitt and Chris Taylor based on the world of Sunless Skies by Failbetter games. Also a bit of our test game has been added to the end of the podcast. Due to technical difficulties that whole game will not be posted, but it has been added to get a taste of the game played in it's "Regular" setting.
