Lilla Pittman, known by most as "Coach Lilla," is the founder/director of Feline Finesse Dance Company (FFDC). FFDC is a Bayview-Hunters Point, all-female youth dance troupe that philosophizes a sisterhood of love and self respect. They self-identify through genres of Hip Hop, West African, and Afro Funk. Lilla's most recent accomplishment is the grand opening of the House of Finesse, a community center meant to empower, motivate, and support youth in District 10 in every aspect of their journey into adulthood. Larry Dorsey Jr is a storyteller born & raised in San Francisco. He is known in the city for his adventurous lifestyle and as a radio personality for the premiere Hip Hop station in the Bay Area (106 KMEL #iHeartMedia). Before being involved with activism, he crafted his talents in various forms of performance arts. Music/Poetry (shout out to Youth Speaks) has been a part of his life since childhood. He is also a life long joke teller, first learning the craft of Stand-up while working security at The Punch Line San Francisco / Cobb's Comedy Club , finally hitting the stage after taking a workshop at the famous San Jose Improv. His most recent accolade, is being promoted to “main stage company” at BATS , the top improv theatre in Northern California. He graduated from SF State University majoring in Creative Writing, Academy of Art University majoring in Motion Pictures & Television, and the Meisner Technique Studio acting program. Franco Finn is in his 19th Season as the In-Arena MC and TV Personality for the NBA Champion Golden State Warriors. Known as the "Warriors Hype Man" at Oracle Arena and now the new Chase Center in San Francisco, he performs live in front of 20,000+ fans each night. Franco's job is to energize and entertain the crowds and his responsibilities include introducing the team's starting lineup, hosting the pre-game show "Warriors TV" and conducting all the contests and promos at the Arena. Also, Franco is currently a segment host on KRON 4 TV and freelances as an MC/host for the San Francisco Giants' special events for the past 11 seasons. Lady Ray is a proud Bay Area native and UC Berkeley (CAL) Alum who has been part of the radio industry for more than a decade. Lady Ray's dream of being in the radio industry began as a young girl when she and her cousins created their own radio station using an old tape deck and mics. They recorded breaks and even played special requests for their "listeners". As a CAL student, Lady Ray co-hosted the afternoon news at the campus radio station, KAL-X. During her junior year of college, she got her start at 106 KMEL as an intern and 7 months later she was hired in promotions and then went on to produce the Morning Show, where's she's been ever since. Right after high school, he made his debut featuring on the album Life Is...Too Short by the legend Too Short. After a brief stint away (for some weed, which is legal now), Rappin' 4-Tay returned with the album Rappin’ 4-Tay Is Back. 4-Tay and his friends Franky J and Fly released the record on their new record label, Rag Top Records. 4-Tay cemented his reputation as the #1 player/rapper with the hit single “Playaz Club” off his 1994 album Don't Fight the Feelin'. This new album made him a local favorite, due to his hardcore style, which didn't romanticize the ghetto.Throughout his career Rappin 4-Tay has earned the respect of hispeers. Myrna is an urban planner, economic development and housing policy expert, and dedicated public servant running for Supervisor in District 7 in San Francisco.Myrna’s family immigrated to San Francisco when she was a child during the 1980's from El Salvador, fleeing that country’s civil war. The Melgars came to join extended family members who had lived in San Francisco for generations. As for so many others before and after, San Francisco provided Myrna’s family with refuge and economic opportunity.
