Born and raised in a small town in Mansfield, Connecticut, Alexa Curtis knew she didn't fit into the “normal social mold”. When she was 7 years old, her father was wrongfully convicted of a heinous crime and put in a maximum security prison.  By the age of 12, her father was released from jail but during that challenging period of life, Alexa started writing and expressing herself through fashion to help her cope, starting a fashion blog; A Life in the Fashion Lane which became a platform for her to express her feelings about everything relating to teens, body image, and mental health.  As Alexa evolved, her blog naturally shifted from fashion to discussing sensitive topics that teens and young adults face every day. A Life in the Fashion Lane was changed to Life Unfiltered with Alexa Curtis.  It became a lifestyle website and podcast for teens & parents discussing topics such as social media and mental health.  Not only did Alexa turn her little fashion blog into a full-time lifestyle platform for teens, but through cold-pitching, she got sponsored by brands like British Airways, T-Mobile, Lands' End, and more.  Today, on top of helping her consulting clients pitch themselves with her tried and true framework, Alexa is the CEO and founder of Be Fearless and the Be Fearless Summit, a pop-up summit that appeared at Drexel University right before we were in a pandemic lockdown in 2020 and has since premiered at UCONN, Vanderbilt, Central Connecticut State University, and UC Berkeley.  Alexa has spoken at numerous colleges; (Northeastern, UConn, Eastern Connecticut, Rutgers) along with high schools – discussing how to be fearless as well as on mental health and social media.  Alexa has had the honor of speaking alongside Amal Clooney and Serena Williams at Penn Women and in Sept 2018, she added ‘host' to her arsenal as she launched her own radio show on Radio Disney called “Fearless Every Day” with Alexa Curtis which was the first of its kind and broke new ground for the Radio Disney where Alexa interviewed various guests who shared their journey of overcoming obstacles/challenges and chasing after their dreams.  Recently, Be Fearless Summit was acquired by upskilling and mentorship platform GrasshoppHer. We had the pleasure of interviewing Elle Winter over Zoom video! Known for her heartfelt songwriting style that has allowed her to connect with over 20 million people across streaming platforms, Elle Winter has been making waves in the music world even back in her teen years, being discovered by Radio Disney's “Next Big Thing.” Previously touring with Chloe x Halle and performing on prominent stages ranging from the Today Show to KIIS-FM's Jingle Ball, Elle is currently working with Album of the Year winning producers Autumn Rowe and Kizzo, and recently released her latest single, “Help”! “Help” comes on the heels of a turning point in Elle's life, as growing up under the pressures of the entertainment industry led to her living in fear of asking for support or sharing when she was struggling. After moving back to LA, Elle made the decision to start a new chapter in her life where she can find strength and power in vulnerability, putting herself first. Elle is looking forward to all that is to come, both as an artist and a University of Pennsylvania student—see below for more on Elle and her upcoming projects. Born and raised in New York City, Elle took to music at a very young age. She was discovered by Radio Disney at age 14 and took part in their “Next Big Thing” program which included the release of several singles and a national tour in which she began building a fanbase. As Elle made her way through high school, she continued pursuing her music career along with acting. She worked on new songs and independently released the single "One More” in 2018. A radio tour followed, as well as spots on The TODAY Show and the honorifics of being named Elvis Duran's Artist of the Month, as well as KIIS FM's Next Up Artist. In 2019, during her freshman year at the University of Pennsylvania, Elle signed with Sony Music's The Orchard (previously RED MUSIC) off the strength of her forthcoming EP. On a majority of the EP's tracks, Elle worked with production team The Orphanage, who has notched credits on recent albums from Demi Lovato and Alessia Cara and has given Elle's music the unique pop flavor it possesses. We had the pleasure of interviewing Ashlee Keating over Zoom video! Ashlee Keating is ready to take the pop music scene by storm with her new single “SAUCY” and forthcoming EP. The hot new single has quickly become an anthem for both female-empowerment and the LGBTQ+ community. The track was created by the top-tier team of producers Tommy Brown (who works closely with Ariana Grande), YNG Josh and Nick Cooper. While the vibrant “Saucy” music video racked up over 100K views in the first week since its release, directed by Combina Key and choreographed by Shirlene Quigley. As a Billboard-charting music sensation, Ashlee is a true multifaceted talent. Her music is a perfect mix of upbeat and inspirational, with lyrical themes of loving yourself and living your best life. Between her colorful style and dance-worthy music catalog, Ashlee has also become highly regarded within the LGBTQ+ community as an ally and activist. She strives to spread messages of love, positivity, and confidence through all of her work. Making major strides in the music industry, Ashlee's recent single “YASSS” garnered over 1-Million streams on Spotify while her singles “Hurt Me So Good” and “Bad Mistake” spent weeks on the Top 20 Billboard Dance/Club Chart. Born and raised in Southern New Jersey, Ashlee discovered her love for music at a young age. She made her Broadway debut at only 6-years-old, playing ‘Gretl' in the national tour of “The Sound of Music” (alongside Richard Chamberlain). Shortly after, she was cast as the lead role of “Annie” at the famous Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia. Ashlee has since been seen as a contestant on CBS' “Star Search”, a member of Radio Disney's “Up and Coming Artist” Incubator Program (performing for artists such as Demi Lovato, Keke Palmer, & Raven Symone), in acting roles in movies such as “The Bandit Hound”, and with her holiday single “Ice Kingdom” featured in Coca-Cola's ‘52 Songs of Happiness' campaign. Ashlee loves to use her platform for good, giving back to philanthropic organizations supporting women's empowerment and the LGBTQ+ community. Over the years, she has worked closely with GLAAD, Girl Up, St. Jude Children's Hospital, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Outside of her music career, Ashlee likes to stay active with her passions for fashion, dancing, pilates, make-up, traveling, and fitness. She also loves spending time with her pomeranian puppy Koko.
