Bad Bunny has been at the center of a political and cultural storm this past week, while also closing one of the biggest tours in music history and quietly shaping what comes next in Puerto Rico and beyond. The biggest story has been the controversy over the Trump White House using his song La Mudanza in a TikTok video celebrating ICE deportation operations. Outlets like El Nuevo Día, Metro Puerto Rico, and G1 in Brazil report that the official White House account set footage of immigration arrests and Donald Trump to the track from Bad Bunny's 2025 album Debí Tirar Más Fotos, despite Bad Bunny's well‑known defense of migrants and his “ICE out” speech at the 2026 Grammys. In the days since, social media has lit up: Instagram users and commentators have questioned whether anyone even spoke to Bad Bunny or his team before using the song, and YouTube segments from entertainment news channels describe the move as either a deliberate provocation or a tone‑deaf misuse of his work. According to Metro Puerto Rico, the audio on that White House TikTok has now been disabled, leaving the deportation montage running without Bad Bunny's music. Reports circulating in Puerto Rican media suggest the removal was tied to an intervention by rights holders connected to La Mudanza, even though Bad Bunny himself has not issued any public statement. Complex-style aggregators and local U.S. news like Click2Houston note that, as of the last few days, there is still no official comment from his camp, turning the silence itself into part of the story as fans debate whether he is preparing a legal or artistic response. At the same time, industry coverage from Billboard‑based summaries reproduced by Foco Informativo and Hola describes a massive milestone: Bad Bunny's Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour just wrapped in Brussels with approximately 467.5 million dollars in gross from 55 shows across four continents, and around 3 million tickets sold. Those same reports emphasize that across all his tours he has now surpassed 1.2 billion dollars in total gross and more than 7 million tickets, making him the first Latino and first non‑English‑language artist to cross the 1‑billion touring threshold. Spanish outlets highlight how his Madrid residency and shows across Europe moved tourism numbers, with El Mundo pointing out that June tourism in the Community of Madrid hit historic highs, boosted in part by Bad Bunny's lengthy stadium run and his audience's spending in the city. Social media and entertainment press have also focused on the aftershocks of the tour. El Nuevo Día and other Puerto Rican outlets talk about how his performances turned the cuatro puertorriqueño into a global focal point, and how his presence in France came with a wax statue in Paris and surprise appearances with artists like Yandel. Ground News style aggregators show that he's been sending public messages of solidarity and practical aid to Venezuela; El Nuevo Día's English desk recently ran the headline “Aid from Bad Bunny Arrives in Venezuela,” underscoring that he is channeling some of his immense touring leverage into humanitarian efforts. Back home, the mayor of San Juan, Miguel Romero, has just revived expectations of new Bad Bunny concerts at Hiram Bithorn Stadium, telling El Nuevo Día that dates are “right around the corner.” For listeners, that signals a pivot from global stadium dominance back to intimate, locally significant shows in Puerto Rico, possibly tied to his long residency concept No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí and his ongoing legal and political battles, such as the reggaetón copyright “Frankenstein” case covered by Reggaeton.com where he is pushing to overturn a decision about the dembow rhythm. So this week in Bad Bunny's world, you have a White House deportation video briefly soundtracked by his pro‑migrant anthem before the audio is stripped, online outrage and rights maneuvers, record‑shattering tour numbers that put a Spanish‑language artist in unprecedented territory, European cities measuring his impact in tourism data, and hints that his next big move may be a return to Puerto Rico's stadiums and further political engagement rather than a quiet retreat. Thank you for tuning in, and come back next week for more. This has been a Quiet Please production, and for me check out Quiet Please Dot A I. How do you create music that is playful and catchy while still telling an honest story?Las Vegas singer, songwriter and producer Kiara Garcia joins Vigilantes Radio Live to discuss her new album, Ocean Pearl, and its upbeat pop single, “Obsessed.” The playful record explores what happens when someone becomes a little too invested in another person—romantically or platonically—while maintaining a fun, flirty and danceable energy.Kiara explains how she structured Ocean Pearl like a musical storybook, with songs designed to reflect different emotions and seasons of life. She also discusses the creative challenges and opportunities of writing in both English and Spanish, blending pop, R&B, hip-hop and reggaeton, and creating music that reflects every side of her identity. The conversation explores her journey from singing at 14 to producing her own records after realizing that other producers could not always capture the sounds she imagined. Kiara also shares how her mother's massive CD and cassette collection shaped her musical curiosity, why she values creative control and what it means to make music that leaves listeners feeling happier than they did before pressing play. This episode is a conversation about joy, identity, artistic independence, healthy boundaries and the courage to create without allowing expectations to limit your sound.https://music.apple.com/us/artist/kiara-garcia/1244469119https://open.spotify.com/artist/7K0xXVSPFr4N98rhCvg7lc?nd=1https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFZ64ptfV0u3SbjkQwl3U2Ahttps://www.instagram.com/kiaramusicofficialBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/vigilantes-radio-live--2166168/support.Vigilantes Radio Live! by The Only One Media Group ℗©2025Episode Credits:Produced, edited, mixed, and written by Demetrius "Whodini Blak" Reynolds, Sr.Artwork designed by Demetrius "Whodini Blak" Reynolds, Sr.Show Introduction by KateSegment jingles composed & produced by Demetrius "Whodini Blak" Reynolds, Sr.Additional music licensed through 7th Sign RecordingsLinks:onlyonemediagroup.comhttps://www.instagram.com/vigilantesradio/https://www.iheart.com/podcast/966-vigilantes-radio-live-29999229/https://www.instagram.com/whodiniblakin3d/https://www.imdb.com/title/tt26009230/To support our show, please leave reviews, ratings, or you can help fuel the passion over at buymeacoffee.com/vigilantesradioEmail us at onlyonemgt@gmail.com or vradio@onlyonemediagroup.com

A reviravolta veio neste primeiro semestre, quando a gravadora The Wave Music Group lançou a versão deluxe "Do Not Disturb: Late Check Out."

Angel "Julito" Diaz grew up on Creston Avenue in the North Bronx — the youngest of six kids, watching his mother run the block before he ever touched a drug. By the time he was 12 he was selling crack after school. By the time he was a young man he was running his own operation — hundreds of pounds of their signature Mango Piña weed a week — eventually becoming the shot caller of the infamous Creston Avenue Crew whose takedown became one of the most notorious drug cases in Bronx history. In this episode of Locked In with Ian Bick, Julito tells the complete story — the story that Reggaeton star De La Ghetto portrayed on Netflix's El Ganador. Nicky Jam and Daddy Yankee were part of his Bronx operation before they were famous. He opens up about the betrayal from his own childhood friend who put out a murder contract on his life, the robbery case that sent him to state prison, and the federal case that gave him 17 years total. When 22 people around him cooperated with the government — Angel kept his mouth shut. He served 11 years and never snitched on anyone. _____________________________________________ #prisonlife #BronxStory #TrueCrime _____________________________________________ Thank You To CASH APP & RAYCON For Sponsoring This Episode: Cash App: Download Cash App Today: https://click.cash.app/ui6m/6pao71et #CashAppPod Cash App is a financial services platform, not a bank. Welcome to the Gnar Couch Podshow, where mountain biking meets middle school humor, and none of our intros ever go according to plan—thanks in advance, Rob. This week, we welcome the one and only April Zastrow to the show: former pro motocross racer, mountain biking content creator, surfer, and the kind of human we'd totally trust around our children, if we weren't such bad influences ourselves. We saddle up and ride through April's “mutt life” of action sports, her journey from nearly getting lapped in pro moto to inspiring future shredders (including Rob's daughter), and why bigger jumps aren't as scary as small ones. We also plunge into the gnarly reality of being a woman in the MTB world, how she handles haters (spoiler: better than JP handles whiskey and the Old Rampate Site), and the science of bike squeaks, especially when Ryan Rodriguez is nearby. Of course, things get off track: there's talk of “dump trucks,” debates over whether Rob can leave his house without spilling beer, and our patented EXT/TRP appreciation rant. If you love deep dives into gear AND deep dives into our own self-esteem issues, you're in the right spot. If not, just stick around for the part where we try to figure out if May June is a better name than April. So tune in for bikes, bad jokes, a little self-deprecation, and a solid chance you'll hear something about mayonnaise, wieners, or at least a brake lever pulled with someone's pinky. It's the Gnar Couch Podshow. Cumb for the chaos, stay for the dumb, and leave with fewer brain cells than you started. Guest info: April Zastrow Check out our store for sick shirts. Got to our Patreon and give us money. We've added old episodes, downloadable songs, and give you early access to raw, uncut shows for only $4.20/month. We all ride TRP brakes. They're the best. Buy some. Thanks to crankbrothers and Hyland Cyclery for always keeping the bikes running. Get 30% off BLIZ sunglasses and more with the code "sponchesmom".
