Jesus teaches us that death brings life: when we lay down our own agendas, desires, and priorities, God can use our lives to bring life to others. We are called to multiply by investing in people and helping them become who God made them to be.

In Luke 10, the story of the Good Samaritan challenges us to move beyond obligation and performance and become people who give freely because of what Jesus has already given us. When compassion captures our hearts, it changes how we give our time, resources, and lives to others.

In this second message of our This Is Real Life series, we explore the power of connection and what it means to build relationships that truly change us. Biblical connection goes beyond simply being around people. It means being known, loved, challenged, encouraged, and willing to lay down our lives for one another as we grow to become more like Jesus.

In this first message of our This Is Real Life series, we see Jesus meet Peter in the middle of his ordinary, broken life and invite him to trust His voice and follow His purpose. Pursuing Jesus means making room for the One who is already in our boat, responding in obedience - even when it doesn't make sense - and allowing His work in us to overflow to the people around us.

In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul reveals the reality of the resurrection and what it means for how we live today. Because Jesus defeated death, we can find comfort in loss, strength in hardship, and conviction to give ourselves fully to the work of the Lord.

In 1 Corinthians 14, Paul calls the church to use our spiritual gifts not for ourselves, but to encourage, strengthen, and build one another up in love. True spiritual maturity means making church less about what we receive and more about how God can use us to serve others.

Through 1 Corinthians 13, we are reminded that love is not another item on our spiritual performance checklist. Love is the way of Jesus, and as we fix our eyes on Him and allow Him to transform us, we become people who genuinely love others.

When life feels overwhelming, where do we find hope? Through Lamentations 3, we are reminded that we can bring our grief honestly to God, fix our eyes on His faithfulness, and wait on His presence, knowing that His mercies are new every morning and we are not consumed by our circumstances.

As Spokane faces devastating wildfires, we gather to worship, seek the presence of Jesus, and pray for our city. Together we ask for His peace, protection, comfort, and strength, trusting that He is near to the brokenhearted and faithful in every storm.

Through 1 Corinthians 10, we discover that following Jesus is about more than religious moments. As Christ transforms our hearts, we are called to live every part of our lives for His glory and for the good of others.

Through 1 Corinthians 9, Dr. Jerry Sittser reminds us that true freedom is not about claiming our rights, but serving others for the sake of the gospel. Because we are secure in Christ, we are free to lay down our preferences and point people to Jesus.

Biblical knowledge is valuable, but if it doesn't make us more like Jesus, we've missed the point. Learn how the gospel transforms not just what we know, but who we become through humility, love, and laying down our life for others.

God doesn't need to change your circumstances before He can work through you. Learn why He has you where you are, how to find contentment in every season, and how He can bring life to what's been broken.

We're reminded that our past does not define us because we have been washed, sanctified, and justified through Jesus Christ. In 1 Corinthians Paul calls believers to live from their new identity in Christ and honor God with their bodies, relationships, and choices.

God's response to sin is never rooted in condemnation, but in restoration. In 1 Corinthians, Paul challenges believers to lovingly address sin, pursue holiness, and help one another walk in the freedom found in Christ.

As we continue our series through 1 Corinthians, Paul's words remind us that God's kingdom is not built on impressive words, but on transformed people who faithfully follow Christ and walk in His power.

This passage in our study through 1 Corinthians invites us to examine what we're investing our lives in and challenges us to build with eternal purpose, knowing that what is built for Christ will endure.

As we continue our series in 1 Corinthians 2, Paul reminds us that the message of Jesus is not carried by human strength, persuasive wisdom, or clever words, but by the power of the Holy Spirit at work in us.

As we begin our new study through 1 Corinthians, this message challenges us to examine the subtle ways we can drift spiritually and calls us back to a faith centered on Jesus before we slowly lose our way.

As we continue through Colossians, this message reminds us that Jesus changes everything for everyone, inviting us to leave behind our old ways and grow into the people God created us to be.
