Merry Christmas! In celebrity conversion news, Denzel Washington got baptized at his church in Harlem just days before his 70th birthday and became a licensed minister, and New York Times columnist, David Brooks, has written about his surprising journey from agnosticism to Christianity. What do these stories tell us about our culture's ongoing hunger for God? On the other side, David French explains why some Christians now think cruelty is acceptable. New Testament scholar, Nijay Gupta, is back to talk about what the Gospels actually say about Jesus' birth, and what our Christmas pageants get right and very wrong about the story. Listen along as we look at Matthew 19 and look at Jesus' interaction with the rich young ruler. Notes//Quotes: Matthew 19:16-30 - Faith “It is wrong if eternal life is an additional “acquisition,” if one wants the spiritual as a complement to all the other good things one has—physical, financial, social, and the like. “I am a successful businessman, a good father, and respected in my community; now I want to be a success with God as well.” Service clubs sometimes seek such well-roundedness in their members, but the idea of eternal life as the acquisition of an upwardly mobile person is offensive to Jesus. Eternal life is not spiritual real estate for a person on the make.”  — Dale Bruner  “It is not difficult in such a world to get a person interested in the message of the gospel; it is terrifically difficult to sustain the interest. Millions of people in our culture make decisions for Christ, but there is a dreadful attrition rate. Many claim to have been born again, but the evidence for mature Christian discipleship is slim. In our kind of culture, anything, even news about God, can be sold if it is packaged freshly; but when it loses its novelty, it goes on the garbage heap. There is a great market for religious experience in our world; there is a little enthusiasm for the patient acquisition of virtue, little inclination to sign up for a long apprenticeship in what earlier generations of Christians called holiness…Everyone is in a hurry. The persons whom I lead in worship, among whom I counsel, visit, pray, preach, and teach, want short cuts. They want me to help them fill out the form that will get them instant credit (in eternity). They are impatient for results. They have adopted the lifestyle of a tourist and only want the high points. But a pastor is not a tour guide. I have no interest in telling apocryphal religious stories at and around dubiously identified sacred sites. The Christian life cannot mature under such conditions and in such ways.  —Eugene Peterson  “Americans profoundly underestimate how rich they are compared to the rest of the world. The average U.S. resident estimated that the global median individual income is about $20,000 a year. In fact, the real answer is about a tenth of that figure: roughly $2,100 per year….What explains these misperceptions? Human beings draw heavily on their own local, lived experience to make judgments about the wider world. As individuals' own incomes rise, and therefore the incomes of those around them, so too do their overestimates of the global median income.”   — Gautam Nair, PhD political science at Yale University Questions: 1. Do I think that God has a price? Am I transactional with Him? 2. Am I attempting to speed God up? 3. If God were to ask me for __________ could I and would I give it to Him? 4. Am I generous with my wealth and what percentage of it goes to Kingdom priorities

Welcome, cherished listeners, to another enlightening episode of "The Power Of God's Whisper Podcast". Today, we're diving into the profound understanding of God's whispers, particularly focusing on the concept of us being His mouthpiece. Our exploration is centered on Matthew 10:20, which says, "It is not you who will be speaking —it will be the Spirit of your Father speaking through you."In understanding the phenomenon of God's whispers, it is essential to remember that we are the conduits through which divine guidance flows into our world. When we speak, it isn't solely our thoughts being vocalized but also the Spirit of the Divine Father articulating His wisdom through us. The following three points further delve into this principle.Point 1: Understanding Our Divine Role: Jesus has assured us that the Spirit guides us into all truths and future events (John 16:13). When we internalize this teaching, we realize that our words can bear divine inspiration. It is us speaking, but God is the source.Point 2: Embracing Humility and Faith: It is not uncommon for people to hesitate in claiming divine inspiration behind their words, primarily out of humility or fear of criticism. However, we must nurture faith in God's promises and acknowledge that when we listen carefully, we can indeed channel His voice.Point 3: Overcoming Intimidation: Some may question or criticize those who claim to have spoken God's words. Yet, it is important to remember what Jesus told us - the Spirit indeed speaks through us. It's not heresy to believe it; rather, it is aligning with the true purpose of God.In conclusion, the notion of being a conduit for God's voice is an invitation to deeper faith, stronger courage, and more profound alignment with God's will. It is an invitation to allow the Holy Spirit to rise within us and speak boldly, confidently, but not presumptuously through us. The Spirit indeed loves to be heard through His people. As we conclude today's podcast, remember, you have been chosen to be a conduit for God's whispers. Embrace this role with humility, faith, and courage. Now, let's close with a prayer: "Holy Spirit, we acknowledge that You are always speaking, and we trust that You are speaking to us and through us. Empower us to declare what we've heard from You confidently, humbly, and accurately. Help us to seize every opportunity to do so. Amen."Thank you for tuning in to "The Power Of God's Whisper Podcast". Our call to action today is to listen closely to the whispers of the Spirit, and let them find expression through you. We look forward to connecting with you again in our next episode. Until then, may you continue to hear and speak the divine whispers in your life.Thank you for reading The Power Of God's Whisper. Again, you're gonna want notepaper and a pencil for this one!THIS WEEK'S VERSES:"Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,  and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.  In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." (Ephesians 6:13-17)"God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."   (1 Corinthians 10:13)"For the Word (spoken word) that God speaks is alive and full of power {making it active, operative, energizing and effective}; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breathe of life (soul) and {the immortal} spirit, and of joints and marrow {of the deepest parts of our nature}, exposing and shifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it."  (Isaiah 55:11)"The Spirit alone gives life.  Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life." (John 6:63)“After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward." (Genesis 15:1)PRACTICAL APPLICATION: Put on the full armor of God! Helmet of Salvation: Protected head, cheeks and jaw, heavy and lined with sponge to soften its weight. Nothing could pierce it.Breastplate of Righteousness: The breastplate refers to the righteousness purchased by Jesus at the cross. At salvation a breastplate is issued to each sinner. Belt of Truth: Holds everything together. The belt of truth is declaring WHO God is, while the breastplate declares who you are IN Christ.  Sword of the Spirit: The Sword is the Word of God and The Spoken word of God is so sharp it cuts through our questions, intellect and emotions. Shield of Faith: It covered the entire soldier from head to toe.  A soldier would care for the shield by saturating it with oil, just as we need the daily oil of God's Word to keep our faith strong and active. Shoes of Peace: These shoes have daggers on the front, back, sides and underneath to do vital damage to the enemy. Prayer: Prayer is more than a request, but a place of surrender, consecration and thanksgiving.  Thanks for listening, and make sure to follow us on Instagram to stay up to date on latest news from Be Still Be Free!

Contrast them what Simon the Sorcerer was like. What distinguished these first Christians? Repentance: How do we treat the Holy Spirit like Simon did? The Need to Obliterate Shame -Body Image, Sex, Shame, Love, and Faith It isn't easy to obliterate shame when it is deep-rooted and generational. But there are steps you can take to remove the triggers, step into your faith and God-led calling, and become a vessel for God. Obliterate Shame Around Body Image Robyn originally met Tamra in a Clubhouse room and was impressed with Tamra's ability to freely talk about her faith. Robyn then saw a post that Tamra put on Instagram about body image and it really resonated with her. The body image piece is cultivated by a sexism culture. What is the body for versus what is the body a vessel for? For years Tamra saw herself as nothing but a tool for the opposite sex. She felt that everything she did had to be for the pleasure of someone else. Or, that she had to fit a certain frame in order to be loved. Tamra mentioned how at a time when the cerebral cortex is still developing, teens are exposed to magazines with beautiful, sexual images. We have to consistently blind the eyes of our children from society and the exposure of women's bodies in a sexual way. Moving Outside the Box of Cultural Norms to Obliterate Shame Tamra is on a mission to obliterate shame and one way she is helping women do that is through sharing fitness and nutrition. Everyone goes to body conscientious first. Its mind, body, soul, spirit, and mental health is often pushed aside. The body tends to come up first. Tamra shifted this thinking when she realized that her spirit and soul precede her body when she enters a room. Once she changed her way of thinking, her body became a vessel to steward the Holy Spirit rather than a tool for others' pleasure. When we are trying to fit into a box of cultural norms, we use suppression and coping mechanisms to control what we can't control. Tamra used alcohol, shopping, and other addictions as coping mechanisms. It's important to look at those coping mechanisms that are preventing us from being what God has called us to be. Freedom only comes when you face what has kept you in a box for so long. Tamra stressed that from the outside looking in life can look amazing and no one sees the internal distractions and problems. No one offers help when they don't see that help is needed. The expectations of perfectionism are overwhelming. The roots of our generations often go deep and influence body image and overall mental health. James 2:14-26 FAITH-FILLED FAMILIES Trust God! Treat Each Other Well! Teach the Word! Taking it to the Streets! James 2:14-26 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder. You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God's friend. You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone. In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead. FAITH: It all begins with sincere faith. FAMILY: It is where we live! FRUIT: Our faith bears fruit through service!

"Fellowship" is a term commonly used by Christians but often misunderstood. In truth, the whole Christian life should be shaped and affected by fellowship and the life of the church. Preaching from Acts 2, Pastor Robert Fonseca reminds us what fellowship is and how God uses Christian fellowship to bring Himself glory. God's Grading Scale Is Nothing Like Ours

I have to tell you that my Greek 3 class is absolutely eating my lunch. I feel like I'm back in Algebra like College Algebra where no matter what I did, my brain just rejected it and I got a grade not too long ago that just depressed me so much. I was just not very happy with myself. I had to have a pity party for a little while and here's why: because that was my best. That was my best effort! Then I just remembered that my grades don't define me. Let's phrase it this way and be a little more honest, my failures do not define me. I want to remind you that is not God's grading scale because God's grading scale really does not have anything to do with what the world would call success. His approval of you does not have anything to do with what the world would call failure.Have you ever heard of the Hall of Faith? It's Hebrews Chapter 11 and essentially, it is about 39 verses of the author of Hebrews listing names and talking about why they're righteous. But listen to some of these names: Noah, Abraham, Gideon, Barak, and Samson! Here why this passage is shocking: Abraham passed off his wife as his sister, Sarah was abusive towards Hagar, Gideon was a coward and had a massive temper, and Samson was a total train wreck! In fact, I'm going to say that every name listed in the Hall of Faith comes with a track record of deep failure. How about Moses who killed a man with his bare hands and then hid the body? So why are they included in the Hall of Faith? It is because when you read about them in the Hall of Faith, you are reading this list of people that God has declared righteous. God doesn't grade them by their worldly successes or failures. The grading scale He uses is faith. Jesus said all it takes is a mustard seed of faith (Matthew 17:20) and you are declared righteous. Jesus trades your track record of failure for his blameless record of perfection.

We had the pleasure of interviewing Ratinoff over Zoom video! Creativity burns like a flame. Fueled by inspiration it only grows bigger, bolder, and brighter. Inspired to blaze his own trail, Ratinoff ignites a scorching sound independent of border and genre lines. Fusing highly personal subject mater with ‘80s alt rock sounds and energy, his debut album teems with an incendiary, infectious, and inimitable spirit of its own.Once a budding Latin pop star with acting credits to his name, Joaquin Torres made waves with a pair of explosive singles which amassed over half a million You Tube views. The stage was set for a big change though. In 2019, activating a 360-degree reinvention, Joaquin legally changed his name to Ratinoff, adopting his mother’s surname. He also received a second baptism as an adult at St. Bart’s church in the SF Bay Area. The experience dramatically overhauled his creativity. “Right before I took a trip to Mexico to write music I had my baptism,” he recalls. “Everything came out of wanting to do something different. It was important for me to be baptized again and turn the page on the next chapter. I was always close to my mother, so the name Ratinoff just felt right. I started weeping tears of joy during my baptism. Amazing things happened afterwards. It was a rebirth of a lot of things.”Ratinoff’s spiritual renewal in the wake of his baptism crystallized his musical perspective like never before, and he found himself reaching back to a time before he was born to draw on influences ranging from Joy Division, to New Order, Billy Idol, and The Cure. This newfound direction carried over into the studio with collaborator and producer Aldo Munoz, with whom Jay developed a simmering signature style.“This is everything I always wanted to do musically, ” he explains, “This feels new because of the approach,” he exclaims. “It was all about being open, unique, and experimental. I was thinking in terms of the song, not in terms of me. I have undergone an awakening, which has essentially been a lifetime in the making.”The new songs, which will be unveiled in mid 2020, churn with driving bass and drums, and sinewy synth and guitar lines, over which his rich baritone spins tales of love, loss, and living in the modern world; think Ian Curtis meets Robert Smith, with a dash of Billy Idol. As an intro to the tunes check out Ratinoff’s unique insight into the writing of a few of them.“RUN AWAY” is probably one of the songs that stands out the most on my mind. I remember listening to the Sex Pistols album Never mind the Bollocks, and also another song called ''Beginning of the End'' from a Punk band called 'The Cockney Rejects, and it triggered me to want to write “Run Away”. I do not know if those lyrics were in some way connected to what I was living in at the time, but definitely old frustrations coming out. The Making of the video for was pretty bizarre, we shot it in my bedroom during quarantine while going off on my guitar and my amplifier. It was very crazy watching my bedroom in such a mess, because I am very clean and organized, despite my rebellious attitude.“FAITH” - It is a little bit hard to talk about this song specifically because it reminds me of people that were constantly letting me down. All I think of when I wrote the song is that I was extremely sad. I had wanted to put a band together with a group of my friends, and the drummer decided to just not show up at all and just disappear. Worst part is that I thought we were close friends.I think it is the first song I wrote that is empowering in a way, that even if I feel the worst in my life, I can still come out of the darkness. Really nothing was working out for me, I tried to be in a cover band, and I was always getting replaced. And rightfully so, I suck at singing other people’s music, or songs. I think that is why I inevitably started writing my own songs. I am not the best singer/songwriter, and I am not the most skilled at all, but I just go for it. It is a very spiritual song, almost like wanting to come out of the darkness. And in a funny way.... I did.“I NEED IT” - Last year, 2019, I started going to Church from Monday to Friday, as a spiritual type of ritual to make me feel better. I kept running into this girl that had been in my school when I was in middle school. I always had a crush on her, but nothing ever happened. In one of the moments, she recognized me, and I pretended I did not know who she was, but immediately I was like: ''oh Hi, yes. How have you been”? Since I had been moving a lot since I was 12 years old, I did not get a chance to really cultivate deep meaningful friendships, or relationships. I kept running into her in church, but she would always sit close to the front, and I was always sitting in the back. I avoided her as much as I could, and I felt that she was doing the same...I know she was. I couldn't help it, and in one of those moments, when I went back to my house I sat down and wrote a song about my experience with her.https://www.instagram.com/ratinoffmusic/We want to hear from you! What is Faith? It is a word that we often talk about, but it can be very misunderstood. Some make the claim that Christian faith is blind and in the face of contrary evidence, Christians blindly believe in mythological fairytales and hope that they are correct. In this episode, we investigate what Christian faith is from a biblical perspective. What was Jesus’ opinion of Faith? Did He view it as something to blindly follow in spite of good reason? We hope that this episode will encourage you to be an investigative Christian. One who looks for evidence and reason in order to grow in your faith and bolster your beliefs. Christian faith is not blind, and we need to be the voice that changes this misconception. Trent Shelton - How to Transform Your Pain into Purpose

The Adversity Advantage

Your pain can either become your PRISON or your PURPOSE!!!   Are you one of those people who believe that all the pain you have experienced and been experiencing are just plain punishments? Then you must tune in to this episode to change that belief into its exact opposite.   My guest today is one of the most inspirational and motivational people on the planet.  He is a former American football wide receiver, speaker, author and his content reaches more than 60 million people weekly across his social media platforms. I am incredibly honored to have Trent Shelton, founder of RehabTime on the show today.   He will make you realize that all the problems and pains were given to us by God for a reason. A bit about Trent's story:   Trent's everything was sports. Since he was four or five years old, he played baseball, basketball, and football track. And all the way up to high school, he still played basketball, football and baseball.    That was his identity.    He was blessed to be an outstanding athlete in Texas, went to Baylor University on a full scholarship, and his career at Baylor went great. He had a chance to get drafted, and that was the picture that he's always painted.    Draft day came. He was waiting for his name to be called, but he never heard it. And that's the first moment in his life where he felt like he wasn't in control, and he wasn't enough.   That lasted for just a short while because he got a call. It's like a big war how the teams are calling him — the Cowboys, the Colts, and other teams. His uncle advised him and said, “Hey, go with the Colts. Don't go with the team that offers you the most money. Go to a place where they have nothing to give you but a fair shake.”   So he signed an undrafted free agent deal, which was a very small signing bonus. Probably a few thousand dollars, and he had to work his way up.   But in the same year, Trent ended up having the greatest preseason with the NFL. They brought him in, and they said, “Hey, you know we want to develop you. We have a lot of receivers — Marvin and Reggie. All these guys want to develop you and there's gonna be a good chance in the season. Somebody's gonna get hurt, you're going to be ready.”    He went ahead and bought his car, got his apartment, and all those things.   But within just three weeks, Trent got a call. It's what they call a “Terrible Tuesday”. They released him. He went back home and tried to suppress everything, and the suppression turned into depression.    And two weeks later, Trent got called back. His career was very unstable.    2008 was his breaking point, and he just didn't care anymore. He didn't even want to live anymore. The only thing that kept him going during that time was his three-month-old son, Tristan. He knew that he had to keep living because his son needs his father in his life. Faith, family, and fitness: What do these three words mean to Trent?   Faith It is the rock. It is everything, whether it's a spiritual relationship with faith or just the word in general. We are human beings, we operate off of faith. We have to strengthen it to be able to see the unseen, to be able to believe that there's something that's going to happen for our lives as we like to put it, and believe that there's a door that's going to open from my life that didn't exist yet.   Family It is his accountability. It is who he does everything for, especially his immediate family.   Fitness It's been a part of his life since he was five years old — obviously with sports. But now, even just moving his body, he would say movement influences mood. It is his release from stress, and it builds on his mental toughness. What is Trent's biggest joy in life? His biggest joy is being able to coach his son's football team. He would rather do that than go speak on the stage in front of 5000 people. Because he knows that the seeds that he is planting in his family's life will not just affect this generation, but also future generations.   “I don't want to be successful to the world and unsuccessful to my family. It doesn't matter if people say, ‘I love Trent Shelton.' but my kids are like, ‘I don't love my father.' or ‘My father is not here.'” - Trent Shelton What pieces of advice can Trent give to anybody who's struggling to decide whether to let someone go or not?   Just because they're a good person doesn't mean they're good for you.   Always try to ask yourself, “Where is this bridge leading to? Is this bridge leading me to a greater version of myself? Or is it leading you to a lesser version of myself?”    And if your answer is a lesser version of yourself, you have to burn that bridge. For Trent, what is the reason why people like to run from their pain and their problems?   Trent knows that running away from pain and problems is one of the three parts of the rehab process, which is the reality.   Reality is hard to face.   People want to stay blind to what they actually see, and they don't want to go through that emotional pain, that emotional journey, so they are going to just sweep it under the rug, as if it doesn't exist, than actually deal with it. How does sharing a message, helping others, and being of service inspire Trent's transformation?    For Trent, it brings healing to his soul when someone else benefits from the things that he does — serving, sharing his story, and giving the things he learned from his story.   He starts to realize that he didn't just go through all that for no reason. There was a greater purpose than the pain he was experiencing.    He believes that we wouldn't be able to do what we do, if it wasn't for the things that we went through. God Himself has given His stamp of approval regarding the faith of some. We have many examples we can glean from in the scriptures. You’ve heard of the Hall of Fame right? Most would love their name to be found there.Have ya heard of the “Hall of Faith”? It's kinda like the “honor roll” of faith listed by God Himself. Shouldn’t the highest, most coveted accolade be to please God? To bring Him pleasure? There is an entire list of heros and even a couple heroines of faith found in Hebrews 11!This is such a special passage, and it’s no wonder that our research on faith leads us here, right to the very heart of the christian life; for there is no christian life without faith. These examples of faith in hebrews 11 is a spiritual faith so deep and abiding in God, that natural man cannot comprehend. These all walked by faith and not by sight. They all desired a better place--a heavenly one. This message is about forgiveness. When I say this word is real and lord knows I had a whole process to publish this message. The devil didn’t want me to speak on this today ,but I bind his attempts to stop me from sharing this message ...In The Name Of Jesus! God is in control. Y’all it’s time to let it go. The hurt ends with your forgiving others of hurting you. God wants to free you from them and yourself. He doesn’t want you to suffer and be alone. His love for you is so precious. He will not keep you in bondage ,but the devil will. Stop letting the enemy win. It’s time to stand up against the devil’s attempts . You are better than your past , pain & sin you are in. Let him use you for the kingdom. Scripture references Proverbs 20:22, Micah 7: 18-19, Mathew 5:24. There are slot scriptures that speak about forgiveness in the Bible. Read up on it and share your fave with me. Leave me a message about how your life has changed after you discover the power of forgiveness. I’m praying for you. I love you and so does God. Faith It! Denise Farquharson helps Christian women, especially those in the Corporate world, achieve what others say is impossible. Denise is an author, Christian conference speaker, successful corporate woman herself, with careers in rail, health, construction, IT and automotive areas. She is a mother of three and lives in the Midlands in the United Kingdom with her husband and three grown children. She is here to help you achieve your dreams and goals by learning how to Stretch, Succeed and Soar! Give us some of the challenges that women, especially Christian women, are facing in the Corporate world today? How should a Christian woman handle something at work that just doesn’t sit right with her Faith? I’m talking about possibly a work place policy or situation that she is expected to put herself into for the sake of the company. How should, really anyone, handle that? What if they were to lose their job because of their stance? Now, you have a Facebook Group called “Corporate Christian Women Together,” where you interact and help these women. Tell us about your Facebook group and what you do there? Can you explain to us what “Stretch, Succeed and Soar” is and how you help women to accomplish their goals? And you help them to learn that their Faith will help them to achieve their goals as well? Is that an integral part of what you do? Tell us about your book, “Picture Your Dreams, Goals and Plans.” It was written back in 2008 but it is still applicable today, correct? And you are available to come and speak at conferences and training events, etc. Correct? If someone wanted to get in touch with you, to ask a question, have you come speak or to sign up for your coaching program, how can they do that? How can someone contact you? Folks, you need to get in touch with Denise Farquharson. Even if you are not a corporate woman, you know someone who is! And if you are a woman who needs to possibly get the confidence to move forward in your career, even if it is not the corporate world, Denise is can help you. Her coaching program, the Facebook group, it is all designed to do one thing. That is to help you. She has made a career out of helping someone just like you. The testimonies on her LinkedIn profile are astounding. Even if you are not ready to jump all in on the coaching program, there is the Facebook group. And there is also the book that will help you in visualizing your Dreams, Goals and Plans. It’s been proven that visualization is one key to achieving success. So order her book today. I know that Christmas is just around the corner (at the time of this recording). So get yourself an early Christmas present. And you should order two or three! Give them away to some others that you care about and want to help as well. Denise, thank you so much for coming on the program to share with us today! How did your Faith help you through that time? Let’s talk about some of your corporate success. You must have faced some difficult things as you were working in the Corporate business world. I know, from my own business experiences, that once a goal, promotion or whatever is achieved, we are never satisfied. Hi! So glad you are here! You'll hear me say this often because I know your time is super valuable.  This short podcast is just a brief backstory of how we ended up here!  It's kind of like I am sharing the cliff notes with you of the last three years of my life. I thought it important to get you up to speed where our passion comes from.    My personality can sometimes be bigger than life but it is rooted in  the passion of learning who God says I am in scripture. There are defining moments in every believers life that the light gets turned on....well the light is on and the passion is out!    I pray you find me compassionate and authentic. The days of the church being the pretty shell it's been for ions is over. Reaching the lost is what it's all about. I desire to get my hands dirty and reach those Jesus found himself sitting with in those days. Speaking truthfully about our brokenness and a need for a the Savior needs to be the flag that is flown from the heart of every believer.    We are all about three things around here: faith, family and friends!   Faith: It's paramount in the Ausenbaugh home. God is the funnel by which all things flow through. We love our faith family and the mandate God has given us to be a light in this world.    Family: Our two grown girls are the love of our lives then add in "grands" and it gets all kinds of crazy. We love big! All of us including my father and brother are in ministry in one way or another.    Friends: I think we are like everyone else!  We have our small tribe of loyal friends who do the hard work of loving us. I am blessed to have them!   Join us in the journey through the podcast world!  It should be interesting !!
