You can design a life and career that you LOVE and THRIVE in and I'm living proof of that. FIND YOUR VOICE course is the only course of its kind that walks you through mindfulness exercises to unleash your passions, creativity and banish limiting beliefs. Episode 49 of Sure Babe is all about why identifying your passions before building a career is important; but more importantly in this episode I interview two previous clients that I've had the privilege of working with. Jane @heal.the.brain.withjane was a previous coaching client of mine that worked through some major roadblocks to turn her side hustle into a passionate career. Jane recently launched her own private practice as an occupational therapist while sharing her message on her blog and Instagram helping people everywhere find hope healing from traumatic brain injury. Have you ever been jealous of someone that knew what they wanted? I have! I used to be so envious of people that knew what they wanted to do with their life and career. It wasn't until I gave myself permission to follow my curiosity that I found my passion and created a life and career that is true to me. I want the same for you! Today I'm interviewing Sarah Patterson. Sarah is best known for her appearances on MTVs Real World Brooklyn and The Challenge, but don’t let the label of “reality star” fool you, she’s one smart cookie. Raised by artist parents, Sarah learned at an early age how to see the world as a playground for creativity and invention. Her artistic eye has helped her create a successful Etsy business where she sells handmade jewelry, custom illustrations, and one-of-a-kind home decor. Between craft projects, Sarah travels the world, exploring and gathering inspiration from the colorful places and people she encounters. Curious and passionate about the world around her, Sarah is a self-proclaimed “lifelong learner” and “answer seeker.” The eternal optimist, Sarah’s love of the human spirit led her to pursue a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and she hopes to open her own private practice in the near future. Episode 36 might be my favorite episode of Sure Babe yet! In this episode my husband Sam and I interview relationship expert and Licensed Marriage and Family therapist Figs O'Sullivan. Hello and welcome back to another couples episode! This is episode 35 and number 1 in a 3 part series called "How Our Premarital Class Failed Us". Sam and I frequently joke about how innocent and idealized we were when we were a young couple and how ill equipped we were to be happily married. It wasn't until after years of therapy and "doing the work" on ourselves that we discovered how to be in a loving and life-giving marriage. In this episode we get real about all the things we wish we knew before getting married. Hope you enjoy!

Let me just start episode 29 by saying, it's been a long road to loving and accepting my body. In young adulthood I struggled severely with poor body image and an eating disorder, but that is what led me to becoming a therapist. Meditation was one of the most effective interventions that helped me overcome my eating disorder; it helped me uncover distorted beliefs that did not serve me and continues to help me hear from my true self. In this episode I walk you through a mediation that I developed to help you reprogram your brain to release shameful beliefs and view your body with gratitude and grace. Feel free to play it in the car and around your kiddos just don't close your eyes or get too relaxed. To get the fullest effect try to find time for yourself to get in a comfortable place and close your eyes so you can fully go into your head and heart. If you're interested in more of this work, growing your business and finding your passion, check out my course: FIND YOUR VOICE here and use code FINDYOURVOICE FOR 15% off! In episdoe 19 on Sure Babe, my brother/mentor Josh Storrer and I dive into the topic of desire, specifically what happens when we follow our good desires. Josh is a licensend marriage and family therapist, life coach, business owner, and father of three. He has a lot of insight on the subject of desire and creating good things. I believe when we follow our God-given desires we come alive more; essentially we become more of who we are meant to be when we listen to the things that pull at our heart and attention. I hope this episode helps you on your own path toward becoming more of who you are meant to be. Click hereto download the"Good Creator Worksheet"and "The Turning Your What into Your Why"worksheet to help you uncover more about your desires as well as teach children how to create good.
