What if National Service is your mission field for souls? For many young men in Singapore, National Service can feel like a spiritually dry time—physically exhausting, emotionally draining, and disconnected from church community. In this episode, Charles and Alvin share how they found faith in the field, not after NS, but during it. From shared bunk beds to late night prayers in Sembawang, from quiet moments of doubt to powerful stories of salvation. This is a reminder that evangelism can show up in the most unlikely places. If you're in NS, at work, or in a season that feels ordinary, God can still move through you.

Shame especially, distorts our view of a good God and cripples our ability to hear Him. Keen to know more? Where does your vision come from? Vision drives purpose and shapes how we live. Is yours influenced by culture, parental expectations, society, or your own ambitions? Or is it aligned with God's plan for you? A God-given vision unlocks purpose in your home, marriage, children, and your role in God's Kingdom.
Here's something better than believing: LIVING IT OUT. From today on, we're on a journey to Becoming Apostolic. We are not just going to believe the acts of the Apostles,
Here's how to avoid ministry burn-out ❌ Let your ministry flow from a place of honour, not performance. As we wrap up this series, many of us feel ready to jump into action
Ministry is not about us; it's about God. When we serve, what motivates our actions? Are we driven by self-serving agendas or the pressure to meet others' expectations? True servanthood comes from a place of honoring God. When we minister unto the Lord, we tap into our true source, empowering us to fulfill His Great Commission. Are you ready to align your heart and advance Kingdom culture?
We don't have volunteers. We have ministers. When we serve God, it is more than volunteerism; it's an overflow of our love for Him. To serve is to minister. In ministry, we uncover the unique gifts, talents, and passions that God has placed within us to bless others—and find ourselves blessed in return. Don't just volunteer in the church. Be the minister that God has called you to be!
Every meaningful relationship needs intentional care to thrive.
Is truth just what we make it?
What does it truly mean to walk worthy of our calling? Christ's blood has redeemed us, and by His grace, we are empowered to live out a higher calling. To walk worthy is to live as a reflection of His grace and character, always striving and aligning our lives with His eternal plan and purpose. Will you step into His calling today and let your life be a testimony of His glory?
What comes to mind when you hear the word, “accountability”? ✅ Some may view it as control, but what if it's actually a gift from God to protect us and help fulfill our purpose? Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” True accountability isn't about criticism—it's about mutual growth, love, and keeping each other on track with God's calling. Do you have people who speak truth to you, not just what you want to hear? Let's embrace accountability to live righteously and fulfill our destiny. #accountability #ironsharpensiron #LiveInTruth #purposeinchrist
Is truth just a matter of perspective, or is there something more?
How can you build your life on this strong, unshakable foundation? It starts by knowing God through His Word. The more we study the scripture, the deeper our relationship with Him grows, helping us recognize His voice and trust His guidance. As we understand God's character and promises, our confidence in following His lead grows, and just like Proverbs 3:5-6, we will not lean on our own understanding but trust in God's perfect will for us. Jesus Christ is our chief cornerstone. In Him is a sure foundation, one that will give us stability and alignment to God's will. #SGChurch #ApostolicPentecostal #SGLife #SGFamilies
Life can feel a lot like building a house. But what's the foundation build on? Jesus talks about this in Matthew 7:24-27, where two builders face storms. The difference? One built on a solid foundation, strong and secure. We all face storms that test the strength of our foundations, so it's worth asking: what's keeping you steady? As we walk through this season of consecration, let's prioritise on building our lives on something that lasts—God's unshakable Word and living it out in obedience
Have you ever found yourself feeling insecure? Insecurity leaves us feeling exposed, uncovering hidden fears and its connected emotions. We are left wanting, wondering where is the abundant life that God promised? This need for security reflects a deeper spiritual truth: we were created to live in relationship with a secure and faithful God. The world is volatile, but we can find refuge in the One who holds all things. As we enter a season of consecration to the Lord, there is a promise of unshakable security in Christ. It's ours to have, and it starts with a choice to put Him first ❤️ #SGchurch #churchcommunity #SGlocal #SGFamilies #apostolicpentecostal
The secret place is not difficult to find. In every moment of our daily lives, we can find God in prayer. All it takes is a few simple and sincere words to connect to God. Be it on the mountain or in the valley, God promises to meet us there. As we surrender ourselves to God in prayer and stay in His presence, God keeps us safe under His wings. It is here that we find rest that restores, power to overcome, and strength to soldier on.
Is pain always harmful? Think of pruning—it may be a painful and uncomfortable process, but yet essential for growth. God's divine pruning isn't meant to hurt us but to help us bear more fruit in Him. When we abide in God and stay connected to Him, we allow Him to shape us and change us into who we're meant to be. Trust the process and let God be your vinedresser.
A lie we often believe: As long we don't hurt anyone, we can do what we want.
