Are you ready to go from "making resolutions" to getting RESULTS?Here are some facts about Americans and New Year's Resolutions. In our seminar on the 24th, we'll address these common issues and give YOU the tools to make this year different!➢ Some discouraging information: Most people fail in adhering to their stated New Year's resolutions. Specifically, 22% fail after one week, 40% after one month, 50% after three months, 60% after six months, and 81% after twenty-four months (Norcross & Vangarelli, 1988, as cited by Koestner 2008, p. 60).➢ Three reasons for failing to achieve one's stated goals (Baumeister and Heatherton 1996, as cited by Koestner, 2008, p. 61):(1) Unclear and vague goals.(2) Failure to gauge one's progress toward the stated goals.(3) Weak self-control and self-regulation when facing challenges that impede one's ability to achieve the stated goals.Learn with Cindy why*Making resolutions may not be the best way to make changes;*If you're going to make resolutions, or goals of any kind, how to make them stick.*What do you REALLY need to have to make changes easily. And of course it's all anchored by a 30 minute hypnosis session!

In this podcast I explore one of my favorite topics to cover with clients – the power of the Vagus Nerve, what it is and what it does, and how you may be unintentionally reducing its ability to calm your heart and mind.In today's podcast we will learn:How your Vagus nerve connects your brain with your heart, gut, and all your internal organs and serves as “the captain” of your parasympathetic nervous system-which is your body's natural relax, rebuild, and repair response team. How proper functioning of your Vagus nerve keeps chronic inflammation in check, putting the brakes on all major diseases and regulates your heart beat, maximizing heart rate variability which is a major marker for heart health.A simple exercise that will both immediately trigger the Vagus Nerve to calm your body and mind, and which will actually “tone up” your Vagus Nerve over time to help keep you calmer, naturally.
