For the first time in almost two decades, Arsenal enter the final stretch of the league at the top. Mike returns to the pod and is joined by Aston. In Part 3, Aston makes a cancellable analogy about Tottenham Hotspur and Antonio Conte, we wax poetic about Bukayo Saka, the Crystal Palace game, and discuss Leeds and our upcoming run-in. The pod ends with Mike and Aston getting into some arguments about Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud, arguments that obviously Mike is right about cuz he wrote this description.
For the first time in almost two decades, Arsenal enter the final stretch of the league at the top. Mike returns to the pod and is joined by Aston. In part 2 we finish our "keep or sell" debate on our loaned and academy players, have a discussion/debate on Arsene Wenger and his now "hall of fame" career, and begin to have a(nother) laugh at Tottenham Hotspur. Part 2 ends with a cancellation cliffhanger....
For the first time in almost two decades, Arsenal enter the final stretch of the league at the top. Mike returns to the pod and is joined by Aston. In Part 2 of our #LEIARS postgame pod, Aston and Magic discussed their views, a month out, of Chelsea's January Window, "Mudryk-Gate" and the overall Premier League setup as a whole. We laughed at Spurs, answered some great User Questions, and of course strayed way off the topics we meant to talk about cuz, like, that's our "brand." Enjoy part 2!
It's a 2-part show! In part 1, Mike and Aston covered the weekend's game where the Foxes were Powerless at the King Power to stop The top-of-the-table Arsenal in a game that felt much more of a 3-0 than a 1-0 - perhaps because once again PGMOL and VAR decided to again make us do things the hard way. We discussed the performance, the impact on the title run, in so much exquisite detail that we both completely forgot to even talk about the actual goal. Enjoy Part 1 then have a snack on the banterific Part 2!
It was a nervy fixture going in, and the first 60 min plus didn't do much to help Gooners calm down. Join Aston, Eoin and Magic as we have a blast talking through the game that was Aston Villa 2, Arsenal 4.
