(I-ON NEW MEDIA)Der diesjährige CarneWal beginnt mit drei Worten: What. The. Fuck!

Based in Sheffield, the Outdoor City. Instagram @vertebrate_publishing X/Twitter: @VertebratePub Book: Running Through the Dark: The rise and fall of an ultrarunner. Ultrarunner Jen Scotney has achieved podium finishes in some of the UK's toughest races and now has her sights firmly set on the Pennine Way. In Running Through the Dark, Jen talks about her ambitions, not just to run the 268-mile Pennine Way but to take the record as the fastest woman to do so. But that didn't happen. Nothing went according to plan. The Jen the world knew was a successful lawyer and running coach – all photoshoots and finish-line smiles – but the truth was much darker. The real Jen Scotney, the one she hid from everybody, suffered with chronic fatigue, debilitating injuries, tragedy, grief and at times had a will so beaten down by setbacks that there just didn't seem any point in going on. But she did go on. Running Through the Dark is Jen's account of her ultra-journey. Playing out on the moors of the Pennines, the fells of the Lake District and the mountains of Wales and Scotland, this is much more than a running book, it is a story about resilience, about never giving up, and about battling through the night and always believing that there will be a new dawn.

About The Gateway Pundit The Gateway Pundit was originally founded in 2004 as TheGatewayPundit/blogspot.com by Jim Hoft who is the Editor of TGP. At the time the site primarily wrote brief introductions and linked to other content producers serving as a hub for important current events in the political and media sphere. The site was established for readers tired of limited options and a politicized establishment media. Nikki Love is an adventure runner, a sports psychology under-grad, and a motivator of dreaming big, taking action and achieving extraordinary goals. Nikki turned 50 in 2017 and decided it was time to take her love for travel, marathon running, and cross-country running to a new level. She is now on a mission to run across, around, or through as many countries that her feet can take her, bringing as many people as she can along for the run. Her big adventures include running 63 marathons in 63 days through the UK to celebrate her 50th birthday, a craic of a 750 mile run around Ireland, a runcation through Malta and around Gozo, a jolly jaunt across the Netherlands, an extremely muddy and cow-pat laden run from top to bottom of Wales, a 40 day x 1,000 miles treadmill run, and on July 16, 2023 at the age of 56 Nikki set the women's record for running across Australia from Perth to Sydney 4,044kms in 76 days, 3 hours and 43 minutes. Driven by her curiosity to answer the question “I wonder if I can do that…” Nikki shares her adventures – the highs, lows, fun, tears and her experience of overcoming fears, doubts and obstacles as she navigates perimenopause – through her writing, speaking and film-making. Her goal is to help women know and own their place and space in the world and to keep believing and backing themselves. Today, I'm excited to share a behind-the-scenes look at the planning and preparation for my upcoming adventure on the 3,000km Te Araroa Trail in New Zealand. I recorded this episode, hours before I headed down to London to catch my flight to first Korea and then on to Aukland, New Zealand. In this podcast, I'll take you through the meticulous planning and preparation that goes into making these epic adventures come to life. From the nitty-gritty details on my to-do list to managing setbacks and equipment challenges. I share the story behind my sponsorship with ZOLEO and the invaluable benefits I've gained from their products. I'll also break down my approach to planning big adventures. Starting by dividing it down into the mental, physical, logistical, and practical aspects, offering insights that hopefully will add value as you plan your adventures. Throughout this episode, I'll candidly share the intricacies and hurdles I've encountered and why I take full responsibly for all my decision, even when those decision put me under huge amounts of pressure/stress to deliver. So, if you're curious about what goes into planning an adventure as massive as the Te Araroa Trail while running a business and keeping that business going while travelling. Then this podcast is a must-listen! Join me on my journey as I navigate the world of planning, preparation, and ultimately, adventure. Follow my Te Araroa Challenge on Instagram @toughgirlchallenges. I'll be sharing daily updates on the main page and instagram stories. Rep Nancy Mace says just one Biden deal brought in tens of millions. The Gateway Pundit's Jim Hoft says that's quite a perk being a government leader where you can make that kind of money while you're still in office. He can't imagine what Republicans are waiting for to impeach Joe Biden. Hoft says President Trump's J-6 indictment is nothing but free speech charges. This has never happened before. The Left wants to throw people in jail for their beliefs and for their speech. Hoft is reporting on a Leftist group GDI Strategies operating in 20 states during the 2020 elections. They dropped off 10,000 fraudulent registrations at the Muskegon, Michigan County Clerk's office. The Clerk called in the local police who investigated and called the state police. They conducted their own investigation then turned it over to the FBI, where it died a silent death. FBI did nothing for 3 years. TGP has a whistleblower who's now come forward, they have more documents they'll be releasing this week that prove this was not just in Muskegon but in several cities across Michigan and they have evidence it was happening in other states as well. Hoft believes they flooded Michigan with what appears to be thousands and likely tens of thousands of fraudulent registrations in case they needed them. So here's the deal gleekies.. I don't know if you heard, but there's a strike going on. Looking at the updated guidelines surrounding podcasts; continuing our pod and discussing Glee would be crossing a picket line and our glother's raised us better than that. So! We didn't want to completely halt podcast production because we love y'all too much. We contacted members at SAG, and asked if discussing reality television was okay to do while the strike is going on and they said "yes!" And there happens to be a reality tv show called "The Glee Project" which you may have heard of. Until a fair deal is made with the WGA and SAG, we will be doing weekly recaps of each episode of The Glee Project seasons one and two. We'll be reaching out to the contestants from the series to see if they're interested in discussing more about their time on the show and answering any questions y'all may have for them as well. So if you're on our Patreon, here's how the tiers will be split up during this time: Warblers: will receive early released ad free episodes on Friday's. As well as any guest announcements of TGP contestants we're having on for a chance to ask them questions. Cheerios: will receive early released ad free episodes on Friday's, as well as guest announcements. Cheerios will also have the opportunity to watch livestream recordings of our recaps with the ability to sound off in the comment section with your thoughts on the episode. I cannot thank you all enough for your continuous support. I know y'all will miss the Glacket during this time, believe me - I miss it too. But standing in solidarity with SAG and WGA however we can is something we feel very passionate about. ---- Become a Patron for exclusive bonus episodes, guest announcements, and access to live episode recordings @ patreon.com/gleekoftheweekpod Rate us five stars on Spotify and Apple Podcasts Buy our Merch! Genny is aiming to be the first Aruban to ski to the North and South Poles to raise awareness on the devastating effects of Lyme Disease. Genny was diagnosed with Lyme Disease in the summer of 2016 after suffering from its debilitating effects and misdiagnosis for three harrowing years. She went from being a fit and active person to being so fatigued that she was bed bound for months. A few years on from diagnosis, Genny has recovered and become passionate about making diagnosis affordable, available and prompt in the UK, where she now lives. She is determined that no one else should suffer as she did. Genny is excited and a little bit nervous about the challenge of skiing to the South Pole. She hopes to inspire others to aim high, dream big, work hard, and never settle for someone else's interpretation of what they can achieve. As the first Aruban woman to attempt such a feat, Genny sees it as an honour to represent her home country and inspire others to pursue their dreams. We first spoke with Genny on - 26th January 2021.
