Welcome Back! This episode was a lot of fun to create with Josh, Corrine, Theresa and Dave! Each person got to bring their ideas and thoughts about the subject of change and how it affects their lives and the people around them. Start off with an icebreaker question: if your day was a color what color would it be? And ended with podcast recommendations from each person which will be added at the end of the show notes. Oh yeah the whole thing was done on Instagram live as well which has been uploaded to the ironworks podcast YouTube channel!!! https://youtu.be/kYARx9oU8-sI'm working on it w/Chris Wilburnhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3pWwPMniVKYPMOiUe0KEaH?si=Hw0pflEMS6GTy3zXJAXiog&utm_source=copy-linkReal AF podcasthttps://open.spotify.com/show/6KHwEnVRZmS9tmxkyfqUMD?si=ZQE3FBKjR0e4D7tWbK619A&utm_source=copy-linkJocko podcasthttps://open.spotify.com/show/7irxBvxNqGYnUdFo1c2gMc?si=CkHuDhC5TMq_EVcFa_k3AA&utm_source=copy-linkWorking Mama w/Jen Messerhttps://open.spotify.com/show/42v1daEnoD4mn86miTDcdP?si=hA1Q9qRdS_Kdn9TKZXVE4g&utm_source=copy-linkDare to lead w/Brene Brownhttps://open.spotify.com/show/3oEPsPKDhPVoNNL7pH5db6?si=_1921hRTRMyu6UP1WdNWog&utm_source=copy-link
Its an update! Josh and I wanted to take a few minutes and get back in the swing of things by letting folks know whats been going on for the last year while we have been on a podcasting break! Thanks for sticking by us and we cant wait for the whole year full of interviews, stories and epic journeys.
Welcome Back! It has been a while since we've had an addition so we thought we would keep it rolling with a talk with a good buddy of ours Dustin Noll. The format of this episode is meant to be a little different than a story or an interview, we wanted to have a real conversation about some of the things we go through on a daily basis dealing with leadership, both military and civilian. Dustins post military career has been in working with veterans, the VA and Educational institutions to assist vets as they pursue their post military degrees. He is also an extremely talented musician and has a degree in the field of audio technology. Hope you enjoy the episode and check us out on any of your social media outlets and let us know how we are doing! Keep building your map and never give up the fight!
As we have taking som time to take care of the little curveballs life has thrown at us we have been thankful for the support and we wanted to take a couple minutes and bring everyone up to speed! We have done a couple miles with some weight on our backs, promotions and babies have kept us pretty busy, but we have a couple episodes about ready for release and are working on a lot more! Keep up the fight, dont give up and keep building your map!
Thanks for joining us again here on The Iron Works Podcast for episode 15!! We talk about our ideas on how to be positive even through some of the hard times. Our attitudes, whether positive or negative, don't just affect our daily lives. The lives and attitudes of the people we surround ourselves with and interact with every day are affected by our attitudes. Keep searching for the little points in your day that can get you past the setbacks that are bound to screw up a "perfectly good day". Set routines, be intentional with your time and exercise short term memory when setbacks happen so that you can move forward and conquer the day.
Welcome back to The Iron Works Podcast and the first episode in 2021! We wanted to start the year discussing a topic we think is a huge after the year we just had, Resiliency! Keep being grateful for the trials you have been through and survived and always look to improve the foxhole. There is always someone that could use a smile, a listening ear, or just a plain ol crisp high five to brighten their day. Build Resiliency in your community through supporting one another and encouraging positive dialogue with people that may be struggling. Thanks for listening and let us know how we are doing or anything youd like us to cover or dive into.
Welcome back to The Iron Works Podcast! Josh and I share our thoughts on grief and loss and how it affects us and impacts our lives. With 2020 being a increasingly difficult map to navigate with isolation and life altering schedule changes affecting our everyday life, turning typically common issues into complicated battle fields. This is a conversation we believe is absolutely imperative to be having right now because if ignored over a long time the problem festers and becomes a chronic issue that leads to a ton of other mental health problems. As always we appreciate your support and look forward to hearing your thoughts! Let us know what you think and keep the conversation going!

Now he dedicates his time to his family, his work with the Wounded Warrior Project, and volunteering in his community. Russ was wounded twice in combat and also struggled with PTSD, little did he know his biggest fight was yet to come. His kidneys began to fail, his life was on the line, and he was unable to find a donor. He threw a hail Mary pass and asked for a donor on Facebook. Andrew answered the call. Welcome to the very first episode of the Iron Works Podcast! We decided to launch this episode because today, August 7th is National Purple Heart Day. We are your hosts Brandon and Josh and we are here to reach out to the depths of radio land to hopefully give you all resources and tools to overcome trials and obstacles you may be facing. We also want to share not only our stories but the stories of those of you who may have gone through all sorts of experiences that may be a beacon of light to someone going through similar situations. Our goal for this podcast is to build content that empowers people to accomplish greatness in their own life. We want to breakdown the social stigma that you always have to have your shit together to be successful. We believe that fitness goes hand in hand with mental health and recovery. In this episode you'll get some background on the two of us and where we come from and our brief thoughts on the topics of fitness as a tool sustain positive mental health, the perpetuated victim mentality our society places up veterans and people that go through significant emotional trauma.
