Carlos Hurtado is a former University of Memphis soccer player. He was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. Carlos started playing soccer at a very young age, but, as time went on, he wanted to raise his level and play in a more competitive environment. After a summer camp at IMG Academy, he got an offer to stay and play for them. After his playing time at IMG, Carlos got an offer to play D1 soccer for the University of Memphis. There, he was the starter left back, and one of the most skillful and agile players on the team. This episode is about a talk that happened last week in the 1st MAGIS Training Week. In this talk, Carlos shared how he was able to play for IMG, how he was able to get recruited by a D1 School and how important it is to pay attention to details.
