We went from no guests to two guests! Marc was out on Tuesday so I we had to move to Wednesday and our original guest couldn't make it. So we chatted first to Jenny about her amazing garden her and her family have created. I loved some of the ideas she has incorporated, especially the Indian mint and planting oaks as a hedge. Second up we had Daniel Puicar head gardener at Middleton Hall this is the second time Daniel has been on and since his first appearance he had made such progress in his mission to make Middleton in to a horticultural destination. We thought we would do a Greenfingers charity special with Jamie and Marc both being ambassadors of the charity we wanted to share a few exciting fundraising updates First we had Marc's son George on to talk about his fantastic fundraiser where he will be doing a 8 mile walk from a local park all the way in to Lincoln and up Steep hill ending up at the Castle, he came up with this all on his own. George has Cerebral Palsy which affects his entire right side of his body meaning he has minimal use of his right arm and his right leg is weaker than the left, so 8 miles is going to be a real challenge for him. This week we had the wonderful Louise on for a quick tour of her veg garden before the rain came down to heavy. She has been creating amazing spaces within the local community to regenerate unused planting spots to brighten up and create wildlife pockets in the urban environment.
