Why do we consider a person we know is saved dying as "lost"? Why don't we get excited when a Chrisitan dies that they are with Jesus? What if we sin after we are saved?  We need to be thankful for the blessings we have! What's going to happen in 2026---Is Jesus coming?

People ask "what do you think is going to happen in 2026?" Answer: "Whatever God wants" Friend, God has got this! I couldn't begin to tell what anyone in the world is going to do but I know---God is in control. His plan is sure his promises intact and it's all going to be OK!

There are many things in life we can't control but these three we can! Forgiveness, prayer and putting Jesus fiest. Let's make these three a New Years promise to God.

Unforgiveness is like cancer it spreads and kills. It turns to bitterness and affects our whole bodies. Let it go don't carry it into the new year. make 2026 the year you step up your prayer life and turn your wish list into your powerful prayer list and see miracles.

Psalm 34:15 says He is always watching and His ears are always open to our cries. Phil. 4:6 "Be careful for nothing." James 4:2 "We have not because we ask not." I guarantee you there are things we WISH about but don't PRAY about!

Faith means taking God at His Word especially His promises and especially His promise concerning comfort. He is a very present help in time of need and this is a very needy time in many lives---maybe yours.

Can you name one promise God has failed to keep? His promises are sure! Heis always in time, on time and right! His Word is true---His promises sure and He will be true to the very end.

We are told "without faith it is impossible to please God." Impossible! Do you think Satn knows that? Sure he does and he works overtime to keep us from believing God and trusting Him by faith! Most Christians miss so much God wants to do for them!

2 Kings 2 Elisha saw in Elijah Christlikeness and the power of God and he wanted it. If you ask the average Christian "what was Christ like?" you get superficial answers like kind and gentle. Loving and forgiving and that is true but today we explore many of His other qualities given directly by God.

We need to rear by design and follow God's plan- Elisha saw in Elijah what he wanted to be and what he needed to do to get there.

It is a qonderful thrill to watch God completely heal and save a teenager but this story is just one of thousands of families He has healed as well and great hope to all who are struggling!

We've all heard it said "forgive and forget" but in truth we don't forget or at least I have heard from far too many people who feel like a failure cause they just can't forget. I say forgiving and forgetting are two different issues. Forgive yes! But I say learn from our mistakes and failures. Let go of past hurts and forgive the one who hurt us BUT learn from that experience and don't make the same mistake again.

We know we will remember our loved ones but will we remember why we are there and the wonderful grace of God? We know we will praise Him and adore Him but will we still have scars to remind us of what Jesus saved us from?

God heals our wounds but leaves the sacrs??? Is it to remind us of His goodness? Or to remind us of our sins or supidity? He wipes away all teats and sorrows but there is no mention of wiping away the scars!

You are no match for Satan and his forces! He is the prince of the air and don't forget---he deceived one third of all the angels in heaven under the nose of God and you think you are his match. Hell is full of people Satan picked off.

Flip Wilson the comedian's character Geraldine use to say "The devil made me do it." In truth---the devil can't MAKE you do anything. 1 John 4:4 says "Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world." But he can set-up a trap or a scenario that temps you and if you yield can destroy you!

Satan doesn't care if you are good or moral or do good works. He only cares about one thing.

Satan doesn't care you are a good perso or that your morality and goodness is good as long as you don't trust Jesus Christ. He wants you to count on your good works to get you to heaven and that you are not putting your faith in Christ.
