Paul was in the middle of a several week-long storm and all hope seemed to be gone. He received a message from the Lord that he and the others in the ship would make it out alive. Paul encouraged the ship by telling them, "I believe God" and we will make it! Grab your Bible, turn to Acts 27, and follow along with Pastor Mike.

Welcome to Wellspring Church! What keeps us anchored when life feels dark, turbulent, or confusing? In this message, Billy Waters begins a series on the Nicene Creed, showing how this historic confession serves as a trustworthy guide because it is firmly anchored in Scripture. The Creed begins by declaring belief in one God—the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. God alone is sovereign and sufficient. Through Jesus, believers are welcomed into God's family and given intimate access to the Almighty as their loving Father.

BELIEVE THAT GOD IS IN CONTROLSo whatever you're facing this week, remember Joshua 1:5:“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”Take that promise with you.Believe God.Trust His presence. And remember:God is in control.

Peter said he would never deny Jesus—but he did. Elijah called down fire from heaven—but shortly afterward he ran for his life. Job lost almost everything—but he refused to turn his back on God. What makes the difference when faith is tested? Find out in today's Daily Dose.

When you say "Yes I believe God's Word" my next question is "HOW MUCH?"  In today's world I really believe the average Christian makes swiss cheese of His Word believing what they like and not what they don't like and many believe He has changed His mind over much they disagree with.

QUESTION. When our own faith is weakened as to the hearing of our prayers—when we ourselves are hindered within ourselves from believing the answer of our prayers, have no ground to expect we should be heard, or no ground to believe we are heard—what are those things that greatly weaken our faith as to the answer of our prayers; that though we continue to pray, yet our faith is weakened as to the hearing of our prayers? and what are the grounds that weaken men's faith in such a state? ANSWER. If our hearts are not duly prepared to the consideration of the great and glorious properties, presence, and holiness of God, and duly affected with them in our preparation for prayer, it is certain we can have no faith for the hearing of our prayers.

This is message 7 in the series Jonah Jonah 3:3-9 Faith begins by believing that God means what He says. When people truly believe His Word, that faith produces a genuine response of humility, repentance, and a turning from sin. No one is beyond the reach of God, and no position, power, or past wickedness changes our need to humble ourselves before Him. When God confronts sin, the right response is to believe Him, turn from our own way, and seek His mercy. September 04 2026 Friday God Is NOT Mad At You / Week 03 We Sit With Him Now  Spiritually #findoutwhoyouare My Vision My vision is to teach the world Who They Are In Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior! To Teach them what the Bible says about them and who they have been made to be in the promises of God's Word. This changed my life years ago and completely transformed me from a person full of doubt, fear and unbelief to a strong confident Christian that knows I can do anything through Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. And I'm determined to teach the world what God has taught and commissioned me to teach and that is His Word.  That commission takes me to jails and detention centers weekly along with other open doors at many churches and ministries that are wanting to teach these important truths to the world. My podcast goes out 6 days a week to help the people I am ministering to grow in the truths that God has taught me for many years now. This podcast is free to all that want to listen and grow strong in who God has made them to be in Christ Jesus their Lord and Savior. My Prayers For The World Ephesians 1:15-23 NLT  'Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for God's people everywhere, I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God's power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God's right hand in the heavenly realms. Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come. God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church. And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.'  Ephesians 3:14-21 NLT 'When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. In this conversation, Ashley Campbell explores the profound connection between obedience to God and belief in Him. Drawing from biblical references, she emphasizes that true faith is not merely about following rules but about trusting in God's promises and engaging with Him in daily life. The discussion also highlights the role of the church in addressing community welfare and the importance of understanding the gospel in a practical sense.Takeaways-To obey God is to believe God.-The gospel should transform daily lives, not just offer salvation.-Trust in God is built through consistent experiences with Him.-Belief shapes our actions and decisions in life.-The church has a responsibility to empower communities.-Human welfare is a significant aspect of the gospel.-Misconceptions about God can hinder our relationship with Him.-Faith involves accepting God's truth over our circumstances.-The church should be a safe space for all individuals.-Engaging with God can lead to personal transformation. What do you do when following Jesus gets hard? In Stay Strong: Endure, you'll be challenged to look at what happens when resistance, hardship, persecution, and spiritual opposition come against your faith. Jesus never promised that following Him would mean avoiding difficulty. He called His followers to remain faithful, stand firm, and endure. Mark 4 warns about seed that falls on stony ground. The Word is received with joy, but when trouble comes, there is no deep root to sustain it. That same warning still matters today. It is possible to hear the Word, agree with it, and even be encouraged by it without allowing it to take root deeply enough to shape how you respond when life becomes difficult. This message will challenge you to examine the condition of your heart and ask whether your faith is prepared to endure. You'll see why resistance does not always mean you are doing something wrong. Following Jesus puts you in opposition to the ways of the enemy, and spiritual battles are part of the life of a disciple. Scripture calls believers to endure hardship as good soldiers of Jesus Christ, resist the devil, and refuse to abandon their confession of faith. You'll also be challenged to count the cost of following Jesus. Salvation is a free gift, but discipleship calls you to carry your cross, surrender your life, and keep following when obedience costs you something. If you are facing pressure, disappointment, betrayal, fear, hardship, or a season where you feel like giving up, this message is an encouragement to keep going. Your strength does not come from your ability to fight alone. Jesus is with you, the Holy Spirit strengthens you, and you can remain faithful through the battle. “Stay strong. Don't back down. Hold fast to your confession of faith. Believe God.” - Justin Younger Don't let resistance uproot what God has planted in you. Draw near to Him. Stand your ground. Keep believing. Keep following. Stay strong and endure. The Roads Church - https://theroads.church

I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Youar roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.' What if the thing you keep calling “impossible” is actually the place where Jesus wants to show you just how powerful He is?Maybe you don't have enough. Maybe you've been waiting for an answer for years. Maybe the problem is happening somewhere you can't control. Maybe you've started wondering if God is too late. The Gospel of John gives us a different perspective.Jesus turned water into wine when there wasn't enough. He healed someone without even being physically present. He restored a man who had been suffering for 38 years. And when Lazarus died, Jesus showed that even death wasn't beyond His authority. The point isn't simply that Jesus can perform miracles. The miracle may get your attention, but Jesus wants your allegiance.John tells us that the stories he recorded were written so that we would believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God—and that by believing, we would have life in His name.So what does faith look like when life feels impossible? It means believing BIG by identifying the impossible thing you're facing. It means believing OUT LOUD by making your faith visible through your thoughts, words, time, and resources.Faith isn't believing that God will always do exactly what you want.Faith is believing that Jesus is exactly who He says He is.Your impossibility may be the very place God wants to teach you His sufficiency.

God Is Shaking His Church: Judgment, Restoration & the Return to Biblical Foundations | KIB 546 Kingdom Intelligence Briefing DESCRIPTION Is the shaking in the Church merely destruction—or could God be using judgment to prepare His people for restoration? In KIB 546, Dr. Michael Lake and Mary Lou Lake examine a powerful biblical pattern: when God's covenant people depart from His established foundations, judgment can become an instrument of restoration. Scripture repeatedly reveals a progression: ·      God establishes His order. ·      Mixture and compromise enter. ·      Prophetic warnings are given. ·      Repentance is resisted. ·      Judgment exposes and removes what is false. ·      A faithful remnant returns to covenant. ·      God restores upon the foundation He originally established. From the Babylonian exile and the rebuilding described in Ezra, to Jeremiah, Haggai, Josiah, Hebrews, Revelation, and the New Testament Church, the pattern remains remarkably consistent. Judgment does not necessarily mean that God has abandoned His people. His discipline can demonstrate precisely the opposite. Hebrews 12:6 teaches that the Lord disciplines those whom He loves. Dr. Lake explains why God may have to dismantle spiritual corruption, false doctrine, religious entertainment, prosperity thinking, celebrity culture, pagan mixture, and man-made traditions before genuine restoration can occur. The question for the remnant is not simply:  "God, will You revive what we have built?" A more important prayer may be:  "Father, remove everything we have built that prevents us from becoming what You intended." This episode examines the biblical sequence of judgment, remembrance, repentance, return, obedience, holiness, and restoration—and why understanding that process may be critical for the days ahead. God is not calling His people to invent another Christianity. He is calling His people back to the foundation. ·      Christ has not moved. ·      The Word has not changed. ·      The Kingdom cannot be shaken. The shaking reveals what God never built, so what He established can be seen clearly again. The remnant must return to Christ, biblical authority, holiness, obedience, covenant faithfulness, prayer, sound doctrine, the fear of the Lord, and the Holy Spirit's leadership. "Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken." — Hebrews 12:28 KEY SCRIPTURES DISCUSSED Jeremiah 30:11 Jeremiah 1:10 Jeremiah 7:4 Jeremiah 29:10–14 Deuteronomy 30:1–3 Isaiah 28:16 1 Corinthians 3:11–13 Haggai 1:5–9 2 Kings 22:11 2 Kings 23 Hebrews 12:5–11 Hebrews 12:26–28 Revelation 2:4–5 Revelation 3:19 1 Peter 4:17 Ezekiel 9:6 Isaiah 10:20–21 Zephaniah 3:12–13 John 15:2 CALL TO ACTION The time has come for believers to examine everything by the Word of God. Ask the Father to reveal anything in your life that has been built upon human tradition, cultural compromise, Babylonian thinking, or a false spiritual foundation. Choose now to cooperate with God's restoration process. ·      Return to His Word. ·      Return to holiness. ·      Return to obedience. ·      Return to covenant faithfulness. ·      Return to Christ. August 25 2026 Tuesday God Is NOT Mad At You / Week 02 Made Alive #findoutwhoyouare My Vision My vision is to teach the world Who They Are In Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior! And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.'  Ephesians 3:14-21 NLT 'When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. August 19 2026 Wednesday God Is NOT Mad At You / Week 01 Free From The Law Of Sin And Death #findoutwhoyouare My Vision My vision is to teach the world Who They Are In Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior! Journey Church International is a difference making church in Lees Summit, MO with an exciting kids program, bible-based teaching and an inviting atmosphere.

Closing Thought: Three witnesses stand before us: the water, the blood, and the Spirit. Each points to the same truth: Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, who came to save His people from their sins. Beloved, when doubts come or the world challenges your faith, remember that God's testimony has not changed. The message is consistent, the witnesses agree, and Christ remains the same. Believe God, rest in His Son, and encourage one another to hold fast to Him. NOTE: A suspected lightning strike from the previous night's storm knocled out the transformer to our church. So, with minimal power and no air conditioning, the church carried on. The noise you hear in the background is a large fan.
