    This week Khadi and Phoebe got their #Garba shoes on and headed down to Trafalgar Square to celebrate #Diwali, The festival of the light. The 5 day festival is celebrated around the world by Hindus, Sikhs and Jains. In London it’s become as much part of the October and November calendar as Halloween and Fireworks night.     October is #greatriverrescue month, a national campaign to clear up our waterways from well… largely #plastic. The #Thames is the heart of #London and Londoners are no strangers to getting down the waterside and clearing up. Last month our reporter Phoebe took part in #Thames21’s big bottle count where more than forty thousand bottles were collected by 200 volunteers over 19 sites in just 1 day.
