An in-Indy JP Finlay linked up with Mitch Tischler and Pete Hailey for this edition of Washington Football Talk, which is jammed with lots of content. It of course, though, begins with the latest on Dan Snyder, who finds himself in hot water that just keeps getting hotter. After JP, Mitch and Pete give their opening thoughts on Snyder's situation, you'll hear JP's interview with Don Van Natta Jr., the man who wrote the ESPN story that was posted Tuesday and broke the salacious details about Snyder's finances and behavior as owner. Van Natta provides very useful context on the fresh Snyder drama while on with JP. The trio returns to wrap up that conversation before tossing to a media session featuring Ron Rivera, who's also in Indianapolis and took the time to chat about his free agency approach, what he's thinking about his backup QB hole and more. The guys jump on one more time to react to Rivera's scrum and go through a 100 Chips segment regarding Daron Payne's future. JP Finlay, Mitch Tischler, Pete Hailey and Paul Troth, who is officially Redskins Talk's new QB expert (or, as Mitch likes to say, QBXpert) got together for this packed and informative edition of your favorite thing to listen to. After JP fights through some chair adversity early, the four have long, winding discussion about Washington's passers, starting with Dwayne Haskins. Troth gives you super detailed analysis on what Haskins is going through as a rookie and why being an NFL quarterback is so difficult, so be ready to learn a lot from him. He also explains Case Keenum's strengths and gives his answer for who he'd start as of now, and it might just surprise you. Eventually, JP steers things toward Donald Penn and what kind of solution he could provide the offense. You also get a PODCAST PARTY ANNOUNCEMENT. If you like podcasts where Redskins QBs are compared to cars (and other vehicles, too) and Mitch briefly ranks his favorite letters, then this is the episode for you.

JP Finlay, Mitch Tischler and Pete Hailey are here for a really fun Redskins Talk, as they welcome on Dalton Ross for a long chat. Ross is an editor and radio host for Entertainment Weekly who also loves him some 'Skins, making him an ideal guest to chat all things Burgundy and Gold with. After JP confesses something to Ross as well as his fellow hosts, the four dive into all sorts of topics, including Dwayne Haskins' ceiling, whether the offensive line is a low-key but major concern and an interesting hypothetical involving Haskins and Josh Rosen. You'll also hear Ross pile on Pete and use the phrase "beer bong of medicine" during the back-and-forth. After Ross hangs up, JP tells a quick and embarrassing work story and then the trio brings up a bizarre Instagram debate that dominated @redskinstalkpod earlier this week. If you like podcasts where JP, Mitch and Pete are ranked as "Survivor" contestants and you learn more about Girl JP and Girl Mitch, then this is the episode for you

A respected NFL writer grades the Redskins' draft and advocates for Jay Gruden. Then, JP and Rich rank minor injuries

This is a very fun Friday edition of Redskins Talk, listeners, so get ready. JP Finlay and an in-studio Rich Tandler open up with a brief intro before getting into a long interview with longtime NFL writer Don Banks, who is about as respected as they come in the business. As a Bostonian, Banks is a good guy to provide an outsider's opinion on the franchise, and he does so about their draft, Derrius Guice and the direction of the team. He's skeptical about Washington's choice not to draft Derwin James, for instance, but he's very impressed by what Jay Gruden has accomplished and thinks the coach should get more shine. After JP, Rich and Don's chat, the two pod hosts rank various minor injuries before getting confused about how to close things out, an exchange that Producer Pete leaves in for all the listeners to hear. If you like podcasts where Rich misses his La-Z-Boy and JP really defends Jay Gruden, then this is the episode for you.
