Richie is joined by Matt Le Tissier and Aidan Killian. Matt Le Tissier needs no introduction. The legendary footballer and pundit came on to discuss news that AstraZeneca has withdrawn its covid jab, vaccine injuries in sport, the benefits of CBD and much more. https://twitter.com/mattletiss7https://supremecbd.uk/Aidan Killian is a comedian and writer. In early 2021 and in defiance of Ireland's draconian covid lockdown, Aidan set out on a truly extraordinary journey. Inspired by his beloved Grandmother, Aidan posted on Facebook that he would travel the country and perform his show wherever he was welcome. The offers poured in from all over Ireland and Aidan took to the road, performing for people he had never met in homes, gardens, parks, rooftops and Ireland's beautiful countryside. Thankfully he took a camera crew with him to document his amazing and courageous journey. The result is a truly spcial film. It's called "Once Upon a Lockdown" and is a must watch. https://rumble.com/v4t5s6t-once-upon-a-lockdown.htmlhttps://www.youtube.com/@AidanKillianComedian/videos
Richie is joined by Aidan Killian, Stephen Murphy and also Sara Haboubi. In November 2021, in the very depths of the darkness that had enveloped Ireland and the world from the spring of 2020, three Irish artists embarked on an epic mission to plant the flag of the historic Irish nation at the summits of the highest mountains in each of the island's 32 counties. The result is the movie, 32 Counties — A Quest for Hope in a Time of Darkness — just short of 69 minutes in length, the record of a month-long odyssey though Ireland, forging friendships, iconographies and unforgettable sentences of hope and faith. The three artists — Aidan Killian, comedian; Tiernan O'Rourke, musician; and Stephen Murphy, poet — came together as though brothers and set out on a quest to call in the intentions of love, healing and freedom to the land of Éire in one of its darkest hours. In 32 days they planted 32 flags on 32 mountains in the 32 counties of this sacred island. To discuss the film, Richie is joined by Stephen Murphy and Aidan Killian. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3LexwpcZYAwww.aidankillian.comhttps://theseahound.ie/Sara Haboubi is an international speaker and master NLP practitioner. Sara is the brainchild behind Ireland's Think Local conferences. The latest event takes place in Mullingar this week. "Aidan is a spirited, charismatic and passionate storyteller and comedian who left a corporate banking job in 2008 to save the world, one endorphin at a time. Along my journey I became a student of A Course in Miracles and found myself enjoying sitting in stillness alone or at Vipassana retreats. I search for Truth and have the odd moment where I am at one with that and plenty of moments convincing myself to run round the world doing things that probably don't need to be done." www.aidankillian.com

Hello, This week I caught up with Irish comedian Aidan Killian. He talked about performing comedy in Japan to improve presentation skills, setting up comedy clubs in Dublin and Singapore to then running a comedy festival in Asia. We also discussed the lockdown and his societal concerns. I got his thoughts on virtual gigging, touring with Ardal O'Hanlon, working with Doug Stanhope and his favourite places to gig in the world. Aidan has also written a book titled Dear Plonker about his struggles with debt and how he took on different corporations. If you want to find out more about Aidan, check his website: https://aidankillian.com/ Thanks for listening and remember you are always welcome here on HarteLines.
Steve Hughes was a drummer for different metal bands before becoming a stand up comic legend. We try to understand the idea of regulations which Steve Hughes finally breakdown why it is not working and mocking the idea of having Macdonald as the ambassador of the sports events in Singapore. He opens up going through maniac depression and how it had caused his relationship to breakdown with his girlfriend. He talks about suicide and why it is one of the toughest thing to do. He hates the idea of oppression and feminism and putting it into perspective on the western idea of perspective and how much it differs with what he had seen during his travels and critical thinking. Aidan Killian and Steve Hughes finally talking about going to camp with Steve finding out that being a bushman and hunting food to eat is not as easy as he and his mates thought out to be. Goodbye, Mad March, I knew him, Horatio. Another year, another Adelaide Fringe has passed us by. But this time, instead of fanfare and much backslapping about ticket sales and success, we had a strong undercurrent of discontent from some of the more 'fringe'like performers. Tonight, we hold a round table discussion with an Adelaide Festival show director, Andy Packer, who had a sell out show, The Young King, and we talk to an actor and director from a Fringe production, Eddie Morrison and Dave Hirst, who put on Maximum Breakdown at The Fringe. Plus, we'll include comments from English Fringe performer, Juliette Burton, and Irish performer, Aidan Killian, with their perspectives on the Adelaide Fringe as 'outsiders'. For the Made To Move Minute, Max Martin ... will conduct a postmortem on the first quarter of 2016 from a health perspective. Wine tonight is S C Pannell Winemakers' 2014 Tempranillo. In IS IT NEWS, Nigel quizzes us on our knowledge of ... disappointing theatre. The Adelaide Visa Council features ... two curious cases. And we head to Hindley Street in the Musical Pilgrimage. But first, we launch with David Washington from InDaily with his midweek news wrap, Talk Of The Town. I saw Irish comedian Aidan Killian performing at the Adelaide Fringe and knew that he'd be good value for a chat. The former Bear Stearns investment banker is currently touring The Holy Trinity of Whistleblowers around Australia and the world and sat down to tell me about his karate his experience, why he opposed marriage equality, why he doesn't vote, his attraction to conspiracy theories and why Assange, Snowden and Manning matter. Aidan Killian charged a phone company €300 for hassling him, and they paid it. He insisted a health insurance company repay full costs to is uncle, €25,000, and they paid it. He’s not a barrister or legal whizz, he’s an Irish comedian. He has made it his business to not allow himself to be […]
Aidan Killian is a comedian and ex-banker from Ireland. On stage he talks about what is important to him and what is going on in the world, adding humour to it so everyone does not leave the comedy club crying. He believes in co-creating a better world and realises that he doesn't have the answers, but that won't stop him trying. Aidan joins John Gibbons on this episode of Alchemy to talk about his book 'Dear Plonker' which is the story of his sucessful rebuttal of the numerous letters received over a number of years from debt collectors, lawyers and corporations seeking unlawful payment for a variety of taxes and charges ranging from toll-roads and phone bills to banking penalties, all the while using comedy as his weapon of choice.
