No fear is so great, no grief so deep, no failure so final that it cannot be healed by the loving presence of the risen Christ.
Present anxiety might be linked to past trauma. So, if you want healing from anxiety, it is a worthwhile endeavor to position yourself before God for the healing of trauma

Many people don't realize they are carrying shame, allowing it to weigh them down and affect their self-worth. But through Christ, we are freed from that burden. As a shame-free church, we embrace the healing power of God's love, leaving shame behind and walking in the fullness of His grace and forgiveness. In Christ, we are made whole, and there is no place for shame in our lives.
The Untroubled Heart is rooted in beautiful passages from John 14 where Jesus twice tells his followers to not let their hearts be troubled. As many social scientists and medical professionals claim we are facing an anxiety epidemic, we turn to Christ, the ultimate “non-anxious presence” amidst earth's fires and storms

If you think you don't know how to pray, or what to pray, or even when to pray, good—you are ready to be led by the Spirit in prayer. The Spirit of God loves to help us pray.
Any Christian, young or old, new believer or seasoned saint, can have a powerful, effective prayer life by learning to pray the scriptures.
In Christ, there is always cause for gratitude. When you walk through a difficult challenge, if you belong to God, there is still cause for thanksgiving.
Every Christian is invited into the intimate, holy presence of God at any time to commune with Him, to adore Him, to exalt Him, and to enjoy Him. It is called simply, worship.
There is a celebration going on in heaven and you can join the party now. You don't have to wait until you get to heaven. You don't have to wait until you've finished your whole to do list. You don't have to wait until you finally get the big promotion. You don't have to wait until you retire. All those things are worthy of celebrating, but, beloved you can find something to celebrate today.
Pain is inevitable, but misery is optional! You can't choose to have a life with no problems, but you can choose how you think about life – and, according to Philippians chapter four, good thinking leads to the peace of God.
To get rid of the anxiety in your life, you probably don't need more–you probably need less! And that's really good news because not everyone can get more of stuff and choices andopportunities, but anyone can choose to have less.
The practice of wonder doesn't appear in the usual list of classic spiritual disciplines but it deserves a place in our daily practices of the Gateways of Grace. Join us as we continue our series!

On this episode of Inside Grace with Alan Wright we examin why the word "Gospel" means “Good announcement” – because that's what the Gospel is, an announcement of really wonderful news.We will explore many of the ways that God transforms our lives, but here is the center, the hub that connects it all. The Gospel is good news and good news will change you. What would happen if people comprehended the beauty and magnitude of what God has given them in Jesus Christ? How generous might they become? How much more ready to love and honor their spouses? How much more likely to be patient with their children? How much more ready to let go of judgment and racism? How much more able to conquer sin? What people need for real change isn't more good advice –they need more good news!
Jesus has made a promise that all things broken will be made new. And his people have been invited to participate in this greatest adventure. It's a message of hope for Christians today that Jesus is restoring that which was broken and making something new and wonderful. And the best part is that Jesus invites us to join him in this great work – this redemptive, restorative, exalting work…a grand adventure indeed!
Are you ready for some good news? You have a big God, so you might as well ask Him for big things.
