Surprisingly good gearhead talk radio right here (and it's pure rando-power): you can't fight skill of this magnitude without a prescription (or a warrant). There's pork shoulder on the grille and Richard III's skeleton under the parking lot, a thought or two on United Airlines hiring people because of their ability to fly to Duluth, and a reminder that it's tool time (spring means folks have the fool notion their garages are meant to be clean). Like always, it's more: the Psychonauts, Josh Homme (with Kyuss or QOTSA), soccer with Nelson & Bambalas, snowboarding with Teresa & Bondurant, Aunt Lou's Fiestaware and stickers by Freeb.

Thank you again to Patrick for commissioning this episode of Deadwood!I'm a mite concerned about Aunt Lou's son, because I get the distinct feeling that this kid doesn't know who the fuck he's dealing with and it's going to go badly for him. He's very confident, and as far as I can see he has absolutely no reason to be. Mainly my concern this episode is the fact that Alma is in the crosshairs, and Cy hatches a plan to kill her via a dose of laced opium through Leon. The plan is called off at the last moment, but she has no idea what danger she's in and I'm still worried. Also I'm super bummed about her and Ellsworth. Thank you all for listening, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
New arrivals to camp this week bring odd sorts of confidantes to both Hearst and Swearengen, in the form of Hearst's longtime cook and maid "Aunt Lou" and Al's old friend Jack Langrishe (along with his troupe of actors). Hearst's tensions with other characters also increase as his meeting with Alma and Ellsworth becomes a disaster, Cy finds himself pulled back in to do his bidding, and Seth fails to put him "on notice."
