Hello and welcome to Bill vs the MCU! Each month your hosts Pop Break Podcasts Editor Alex Marcus and Pop Break Editor in Chief Bill Bodkin take another step on their ten month journey to rewatch the ENTIRE Marvel Studios-produced Marvel Cinematic Universe, typically focusing on three or four films from the first four phases of the MCU per episode, reminiscing about their first watches, reflecting on their latest viewings, and considering the wider multiverse ahead! The reason this podcast came into existence is that our Editor-in-Chief has never finished the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So Alex is guiding him on his journey to actually finish the MCU over the next 10 months. This week, it's the moment we've all been waiting for. After seven months and 22 films, Bill finally watched Avenger: Endgame! We will be discussing that experience in depth, along with our reflection on 2019's other releases: Captain Marvel & Spider-Man: Far From Home. Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame are available to stream on Disney+. Spider-Man: Far From Home is currently available for rental and purchase on VOD and to stream via FXNow & FuboTV.

I recently watched Captain Marvel, which introduces the final new superhero before we get the last Avengers movie – Endgame in late April. It’s great entertainment but also continues the metaphysical or God theme that been running throughout the Avengers movies, especially around the idea of the Infinity Stones and the villain Thanos. In this podcast, I weave the stories together to describe how the Marvel Universe and by extension the modern world understands the meaning of God. You won't hear this take on a Marvel movie anywhere else!
The one with our hosts talking about the new trailers for Aladdin and Frozen 2. They also talk about the TV spots for Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame and Toy Story 4!

On this week's show we're casting our eye over some movies we're excited about coming up in 2019. Some of them, believe it or not, have nothing to do with the Marvel Cinematic Universe or the final installment of a certain 'Skywalker Saga'. Suffice it to say, this could be a truly memorable year for the big screen :)Contact us on Email at: notwatchingpodcast@gmail.comFollow us on Twitter: @notwatchingpodYou can find the show notes for this show at www.notlistening.co.ukIf you're listening on iTunes, please give us a review! To Check out other shows in the Collection visit:http://barkerpodcasts.webs.com
