Country comedian Ray Stevens has been called lots of things in his career, but this is the first time he’s been referred to as a ‘rayality star.’ He just launched the first ‘webisode’ of his new web sitcom ‘Rayality TV.’ In the debut episode, he gets a speeding ticket and is sentenced to serve time at The Encore…a retirement home for entertainers. One year after the death of country music legend George Jones, a new book about his life is now available. “The Legend of George Jones” is a collection of stories spanning many decades, five marriages, and an unequaled career in country music. Written by family friends Charlene and Earl “Peanutt” Montgomery, the stories are told without excuse, documenting the real heart and soul of an icon. Peanutt wrote a total of 73 songs for George, including some of his best loved number one hits. “Mystery Girl Deluxe” is the 25th anniversary edition of Roy Orbison’s final album masterpiece. The original “Mystery Girl” included the hit “You Got It,” which was a worldwide smash for Roy. Many incredible artists and musicians performed on the original project, and you’ll see rare archival footage in this anniversary DVD, including clips with Roy and Tom Petty, Barbara Orbison, George Harrison, Bono, T Bone Burnett, Steve Cropper, and many more. Several versions of the new package will be available on Legacy Recordings May 20th, which include some unreleased studio and work-tape demos. Chet Atkins once bestowed the title of “Certified Guitar Picker” on his good friend Steve Wariner. Steve has held close to that through the years, and is releasing a special version of his instrumental album “Steve Wariner C-G-P…My Tribute to Chet Atkins” in Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores. In an interesting twist…Chet was also an early investor in Cracker Barrel, so this brings the project full circle. Now it's time to go Inside The Song. “Until I Met You” is a cool new track from Kentucky duo Sundy Best. We caught up with Kris and Nick to learn what that song is all about.
The music collection at Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores keeps getting better and better. Following the success of Dolly Parton's album set, Josh Turner is back for a second helping. This is the second time Josh has released a Cracker Barrel-only album, again with a live performance. "Live Across America" features several of Josh's biggest hits recorded during twelve shows from Lancaster, Pennsylvania to Austin, Texas during his 2012 tour. Kelly Lynn caught up with Josh to hear all about the new project.
Dolly Parton is celebrating the success of her now gold album, which is available only in Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores. "An Evening with Dolly...Live" was certified by the RIAA as the first gold record in the restaurant chain's extensive music collection, where it only took four weeks on sale to hit the mark. We caught up with Dolly at a party downtown to celebrate.
Dolly Parton has warmed the hears of fans all around the world throughout her musical career. During a recent overseas tour, Dolly captured her performances from London's O2 Arena and put that together with a live CD, and sold that project exclusively through Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores. We had a chance to talk to Dolly earlier this year when she first released that now-gold project. Here's Kelly with more.

After a fifty-year recording career, 37 Top 40 hits, countless awards and inductions, Smokey Robinson is no stranger to hit albums. His latest effort ‘Now and Then’ teams him up with Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores in the restaurant’s exclusive music program. ‘Now and Then’ serves up smooth ballads and some of the classic Motown hits that made Smokey one of the most influential figures in the history of popular music. The new disc features twelve songs, half of which are live versions of his well-known classics and the others are from his 2009 disc ‘Time Flies When You’re Having Fun.’

Dailey and Vincent have quickly risen to the top of Bluegrass music together as one of the genre’s best duos. They have done extremely well since coming together in 2007 when they signed with Rounder Records. They’ve won countless awards and fans throughout the world. Their latest album ‘Dailey & Vincent Sing The Statler Brothers’ is now available at all Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores, and went number one on the Billboard Bluegrass chart within days of its release. The twelve-song disc features the duo’s new bluegrass interpretations of classic Statler Brothers songs.
