Felix Cavaliere is an American singer, songwriter, and keyboardist best known as a founding member and lead vocalist of The Rascals (originally known as The Young Rascals). Born on November 29, 1942, in Pelham, New York, Cavaliere became a key figure in the 1960s blue-eyed soul movement. With The Rascals, he co-wrote and performed hits like "Good Lovin'," "Groovin'," and "People Got to Be Free." Known for his soulful voice and Hammond organ skills, Cavaliere has continued to perform and record as a solo artist and has been inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Tonight's guest has had two Dogman encounters. His first encounter happened when he was very young, and his second encounter occurred about 9 years ago. Due to him being an adult when his second encounter occurred, and the fact it happened so recently, the details from his most recent encounter are much clearer, in his mind. That encounter occurred while he was cabin-sitting, for his mother. You see, his mother and stepfather had gone out of town and his mother asked him if he'd be willing to stay at their cabin, while they were gone, to keep an eye on it for them. He had done that for her before and was happy to oblige. So, as promised, he, his girlfriend, and their small dog, Rascal, went to stay at the cabin, for a few days. In the past, when the 3 of them had stayed there, it had been a relaxing time for them. This time, however, would be different.
