Now today's episode is with Kate Turner. Kate is a recognised leader here and abroad in the world of responsible investment, sustainable finance and ESG data, not to mention an all round great person who hikes, triathlons, meditates, parents and in general is pursuing ways to be helpful and service-oriented. I've known Kate a few years now, and having her on the show was a great pleasure. Kate has over twenty years of professional experience across environmental and climate law, developing market renewable energy and carbon product origination, ESG data services and responsible investment. She's worked across multiple sectors, and is currently serving as the Chair of the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia.I related to a lot of Kate's personal stories of what drove her to go into environmental law in the first place and a career of choices seeking to find places to make an impact, as well as how to parent in a world seemingly inundated with horror, destruction and deviance. In this chat we get through plenty - from working across markets to develop real projects generating real impact prior to the ESG data verification dilemma, the difficult balancing act between laborious ESG data processes and the need to make a real difference, the shifting investor landscape of the past few years, the differences between the value drivers for action on climate change compared to modern slavery, and the need to build bridges, cooperate and make possible the future we want by building the relational fabric and institutional capacity to withstand the change we want to bring about. We end the chat talking about our own experiences of parenthood in this moment. What to share and how to share it with small kids, the importance of a nature loving indoctrination program from a young age, and also how personal practices and professional support are things we all need to do this work and withstand the heartache of pain and suffering in this world.Kate is one of the most thoughtful sustainability practitioners in Australia, so to spend a little time and enjoy and learn from her perspectives were valuable, and I know you'll get lots from listening to her.Send me a messageThanks for listening. Nesta mensagem, o Pr.

His love for country music, paired with a diverse range of influences and a strong work ethic, has shaped his unique sound. After winning the 101.5 Kicks Radio competition in Atlanta two years in a row, Clark's music caught the attention of hit songwriter and producer Jordan Schmidt (Kane Brown, Tyler Hubbard, Jason Aldean). In 2019, Schmidt offered Clark a joint venture publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing. Within a year, Clark co-wrote his first RIAA-certified Platinum single, “Villain” by Lily Rose. When the global pandemic hit, Clark focused his energy on producing his own music, learning from his mentor Jordan Schmidt and his roommate Jacob Durrett (Morgan Wallen, ERNEST). His dedication paid off in early 2022 when a video of his song went viral on TikTok, driving over 21,000 pre-saves for “Hope It's Hot Out,” which was released on May 27, 2022. The track crossed 1 million streams in its first week and has since amassed over 40 million streams independently across all platforms. In 2024, Clark signed a new publishing deal with Relative Music Group, and has since landed cuts with major country acts including HARDY, Blake Shelton, Dylan Scott, Jon Pardi, Mitchell Tenpenny, Restless Road, Mackenzie Carpenter, Erin Kinsey, and Chayce Beckham.Website: https://www.kyleclarkmusic.com/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@KyleClarkMusicInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/kyleclarkmusic/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@kyleclarkmusicFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/KyleClarkMusicTags: Kyle Clark, Gary Scott Thomas podcast, Nashville songwriter interview, country music podcast, Blake Shelton Let Him In Anyway, HARDY songwriter story, Morgan Wallen songwriting, country songwriting process, how hit songs are written, Nashville music industry, faith and creativity, storytelling podcast, songwriter interview, Kyle Clark Nashville, creative persistence, showing up changes everything, music industry inspiration, country artist interviewConnect with Gary:Gary's WebsiteFollow Gary on InstagramGary's TiktokGary's FacebookWatch the episodes on YouTubeAdvertise on the PodcastThank you for listening. After a lengthy absence, B. Cox returns to review hip-hop legend T.I.'s explosive fourth album King as it turns 20.After stepping onto the scene and making himself known with his debut album, 2001's I'm Serious, the Atlanta rap star made further waves and saw larger success with his sophomore and junior albums, 2003's Trap Muzik and 2004's Urban Legend, respectively. He was looking to take the next step with this effort and make a claim as the professed "King Of The South" at a time when Atlanta hip-hop made its way to being at the epicenter of the industry. The album featured an all-star cast of producers and featured artist. It was produced by the likes of DJ Toomp, Mannie Fresh, Jus Blaze, The Neptunes, Kevin Mack, Nick Fury, Kevin "Khao" Cates and Swizz Beats while featuring artists such as UGK, Young Jeezy, Common, Young Dro, B.G., Young Buck, Pharrell and Jamie Foxx among others. The album's release coincided with the release three days later of the feature film and cult classic ATL, which was T.I.'s feature film debut and it also served as the de facto soundtrack. The album had four power-packed singles including the smash lead single "What You Know", which served as the movie's default theme. It was a huge success commercially, selling over 500,000 units the first week and is RIAA-certified 2x platinum. It solidified T.i. as a megastar and a major player in not only Atlanta's rap atmosphere, but the industry at-large for years to come.Show NotesOkayPlayer: The Once and Expeditious King: T.I. on 'King' 20 Years Later, His Latest Album and Morehttps://www.okayplayer.com/the-once-and-expeditious-king-ti-on-king-20-years-later-his-latest-album-and-more/1426138Yahoo: T.I. says it's 'wild to think that' his album 'King' is 20 years oldhttps://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/music/articles/t-says-wild-think-album-100000151.htmlWSB 95.5 Atlanta Talk & Music: Atlanta icon T.I. celebrates 20th anniversary of King album and its undeniable impacthttps://www.wsbradio.com/news/local/atlanta-icon-ti-commemorates-20th-anniversary-king-album-its-undeniable-impact/XD322ZV6JBHI5FJRHTJQOSPU5Y/Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

It's a rare Winner Wednesday with the Knicks, Yankees, and Mets all victorious. The Jets are scouting Russell Wilson as a potential backup for Geno Smith, despite Wilson looking a bit heavy at a Savannah Bananas game. Boomer takes calls and praises Mike Tirico before we hear Tirico's call of the Knicks beating the Hawks and Dave Sims voicing homers from Austin Wells and Aaron Judge. We wrap up by revisiting Digital Underground and "The Humpty Dance." Sadly, you hear none of the music. Blame the RIAA.

Taylor Dayne was born Leslie Wunderman on March 7, 1962. She is an American singer who rose to fame when her first two albums were both certified 2xPlatinum by the RIAA.
Our guest this week on the Working Songwriter originally hails from Virginia, but made his bones in the bustling hip-hop scene of Atlanta. Yung Lan began producing tracks on his laptop as a novice with no ties to the formal music business. Signing a modest publishing deal got him in the room with some hip hop luminaries, and he seized the opportunity. His first success came when one of his songs made it onto Fetty Wap's self-titled album, which went platinum. He has since gone on to work with Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Kevin Gates, and many others. Yung Lan's work on Morgan Wallen's song "Cowgirls" won him a BMI Country Award. All told, his songs placed with different artists have amassed over 6 billion streams and he's contributed to 30 albums with RIAA certifications. I got a chance to catch up with Yung Lan a few months back to hear about his musical journey so far. Interested in sponsoring us? Contact BGS: https://bit.ly/sponsorBGSpods

Sinners received 16 nominations; a record-breaking nomination count for the most in Academy Awards history. The supernatural thriller received nominations for best picture; director (Ryan Coogler); actor (Michael B. Jordan); supporting actress (Wunmi Mosaku); actor in a supporting role (Delroy Lindo); and original screenplay. Timothée Chalamet is 30 years and 26 days old, Chalamet just became the youngest male actor to receive three Oscar nominations since Marlon Brando, who achieved this feat at age 29 in 1954. Steven Spielberg has broken his own record for the most Oscar nominations as a producer, bringing his total to 14 with the nomination for Best Picture for the film "Hamnet." One Battle After Another received 13 nods, including Best Picture. The Snubs:The Cold Shoulder: The Biggest Snubs of the 2026 Oscar NominationsThe Wicked Witch of the West... Gone? The biggest shocker of the morning has to be the complete erasure of Wicked: For Good. Just last year, the first installment picked up 10 nominations. This year? Zero. Zilch.Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, who were both nominated for the first film, were completely shut out of the acting categories. Even the music branch turned its back on the franchise, ignoring the two new songs written specifically for the film. It seems the magic ran out for the sequel.Paul Mescal's Shakespearean TragedyIf you were betting on Paul Mescal picking up a nomination for playing William Shakespeare in Hamnet, you lost money today. While the film itself did well—and his co-star Jessie Buckley secured a nomination—Mescal was noticeably absent from the list. It's a tough break for an actor who has been a darling of the awards circuit lately. The Strange Case of Chase InfinitiHere is a genuine head-scratcher: One Battle After Another is a massive favorite, racking up 13 nominations. Yet, its breakout lead actress, Chase Infiniti, didn't make the cut. Some insiders think her limited screen time (she's in the movie for about 30 minutes) might have hurt her chances, but considering she's the heart of the film, her absence in the Best Actress category is glaring.Guillermo del Toro Gets the "Argo" TreatmentThe Academy clearly loved Netflix's Frankenstein—it scored nine nominations, including Best Picture. But they apparently didn't love Guillermo del Toro quite enough to give him a Best Director nod. The Directors branch is notoriously finicky, and this year, they left the beloved filmmaker off the list.Blockbuster FatigueAvatar: Fire and Ash failed to secure a Best Picture nomination, a category the previous two films sailed into easily. It seems voters might finally be feeling some Pandora fatigue.Star Power Didn't Save ThemBeing an A-lister didn't help anyone this morning.George Clooney & Adam Sandler: Their film Jay Kelly was completely shut out. Usually, a Noah Baumbach movie is catnip for voters, but this one came up empty.Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson: Despite a serious campaign for his dramatic turn in The Smashing Machine, he couldn't crack the lineup.Jennifer Lawrence: She gave a ferocious performance in Die My Love, but the film was likely too gritty and indie for the broader voting body. The show, hosted by Conan O'Brien, airs live on ABC on March 15th. The demo stayed largely unchanged, capturing raw longing and emotional distance on the road—interpretable as love/absence or post-breakup yearning, with ambiguous references to “our bedroom.” Produced by Combs, Singleton, and Chip Matthews, it explores the dual realities of home life versus touring life across the 22-track album, alongside prior releases like “My Kinda Saturday Night,” “Days Like These,” “15 Minutes,” “Giving Her Away,” and the No. 1 “Back in the Saddle” (his 19th career No. 1 on Billboard Country Airplay, extending his record streak).Combs holds historic milestones: first country artist to headline Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Newport Folk, and New Orleans JazzFest; four Diamond-certified singles (RIAA record); two songs over 1 billion Spotify streams; highest RIAA-certified country artist ever (168 million units); and most consecutive No. 1s at country radio. Fathers & Sons (2024) peaked No. 2 on Top Country Albums, maintaining his streak of top-2 debuts. The My Kinda Saturday Night Tour launches March 21, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas), with U.S. finale May 16 at Lambeau Field (Green Bay), plus international legs including three nights at Wembley Stadium (London), two at Scottish Gas Murrayfield (Edinburgh), two at Slane Castle (Ireland), and stops at Notre Dame Stadium, Neyland Stadium, Ohio Stadium, and more across Canada and Europe—many sold-out.With his third child expected winter 2026, this introspective release builds on Fathers & Sons' family focus. The Jay Franze Show: Your backstage pass to the entertainment industry
The biggest country hits of 2025 tell a story the charts won't say out loud: radio still gives men the mic. We dig into the top spins, trace the patterns behind programming decisions, and ask whether “audience demand” is real taste or a habit formed by gatekeepers. From Morgan Wallen's multi-track dominance to a rare female breakout, we map how rotation rules, label strategies, and collaboration trends keep certain voices front and center while others fight uphill. We also widen the lens beyond airplay. Miranda Lambert's new unscripted series brings her storytelling grit to TV, proving artists can grow cultural impact even when radio lanes narrow. Bailey Zimmerman's viral generosity toward his mom, Jesse Keith Whitley's hard restart, and the passing of Opry great Stu Phillips remind us why country resonates: real stakes, real lives, and communities that show up. Add in a spirited debate on performance and vocal power—a live bracket spanning Freddie Mercury, Steve Perry, Prince, and Geoff Tate—and we hit the sweet spot where craft and showmanship meet legacy and data. Spoiler: a theatrical rock titan takes the crown. You'll also get a clear explainer on RIAA certifications, a peek into Cody Johnson's authenticity test for outside cuts, quick-hit chart rundowns across country and indie lanes, and a stack of listener questions on A&R, artist development costs, and the manager roles that actually move careers. We keep it candid, practical, and human—equal parts industry intel and fan-heart fuel.If this conversation challenged your assumptions or gave you something worth sharing, tap follow, send it to a friend, and leave a quick review. It is an honor and a privilege to welcome music producer and songwriter Toby Gad to the first Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast Holiday Special! Toby began his career in the late 1980s, when he and his brother Jens had three of their songs featured on controversial music duo Milli Vanilli's European debut and multi-platinum album, All or Nothing. Because of the songs' success, Milli Vanilli's producer Frank Farian produced the brothers' 1990 debut album, NRG. That same year, Toby met Jacqueline Nemorin, and a 10-year collaboration began with 1992's Creole Dance and continued with 1995's Mission of Love and the title song for Neverending Story III. Following success in Germany, Toby left for the United States. He opened Strawberrybee studio in Midtown Manhattan and co-wrote “Unspoken” with Madeline Stone and O. Hatch for Christian platinum artist Jaci Velasquez. The song stayed on the Christian Billboard Top 20 Singles chart for half a year. In 2003, Toby produced and co-wrote “A Toast to Men” for Willa Ford, and two years later, developed, produced, and co-wrote Kaci Brown's Interscope Records debut, Instigator. He also produced and co-wrote songs for Ricky Martin and the Veronicas. In 2008, his career shifted into high gear after Fergie released a song they co-wrote, “Big Girls Don't Cry.” The song went 4x platinum and peaked at the number one position on the US Billboard Hot 100. He also co-wrote and co-produced Beyoncé's “If I Were A Boy,” which went 2x platinum and peaked at number three on the US Billboard Hot 100. He continued to write massive hits for Calum Scott (“No Matter What”), Demi Lovato (“Skyscraper”), Jessie J (“Who You Are”), Josh Groban (“River”), Leona Lewis (“Fire Under My Feet'), and Madonna (“Bitch, I'm Madonna” and “Living for Love”). One of his massive hits was John Legend's “All of Me,” which earned RIAA's 13x Diamond (Highest Certified RIAA Single in History) and won Grammy, Soul Train, and NAACP Awards. Recently, Toby Gad released his first holiday studio album, Piano Diaries Christmas. The album features original songs co-written with an all-star group of recording artists. Anthony Gargiula, Gavin James, Huntley, Joelle James, Jordin Sparks, Loren Allred, Marisha Wallace, Sam Ryder, and Victoria Justice are some of the talented vocalists who are featured on the record. When he is not in the recording studio, Toby is also the host of the Songs You Know Podcast. In each episode, Toby and his guests uncover the tales, creative processes, and moments of magic that brought iconic songs you know and love to life. Previous guests include Billy Steinberg, Jessie J, Josh Groban, Justin Tranter, Lindy Robbins, Loren Allred, and Marisha Wallace. On the 2025 holiday special, Toby Gad talked about his songwriting sessions with Beyonce and Demi Lovato, writing “All of Me” with John Legend, the moment he swore at the Queen of Pop, and previewed Piano Diaries Christmas. It is with heavy hearts that we present this week's episode as a tribute to Paul Daniel "Ace" Frehley. The rock 'n' roll icon, legendary guitar god, and former KISS guitarist, passed away on October 16, 2025, after suffering a fall in his home studio weeks earlier. Kevin has a profound connection to KISS and Ace as a lifelong fan and proud member of the KISS Army. While not an obscure artist by any means (the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer had 10 gold records, 5 multi-platinum records with KISS, and a platinum solo album), the duo tries to share some lesser-known songs, including a few crazy guest appearances. Excuse Kevin's extensive ramblings about the great Space Ace, but this loss was hard, and the tribute is necessary. Ace was a true character, who played a character, and played with character. A genuine original. A true rock star.New to InObscuria? Typically, what we do is exhume obscure Rock n' Punk n' Metal in one of 3 categories: the Lost, the Forgotten, or the Should Have Beens. In the case of this particular episode, we are leaning towards the FORGOTTEN. Although a member of a band that holds the RIAA distinction of having the most gold-certified albums overall by any American band is hardly forgotten… In any case, we are paying tribute to one of the greatest guitarists of all time! Rest In Peace, Ace. There will never be another like you!Songs this week include:Criss – “Bad Attitude (feat. Ace Frehley)” from Cat #1(1994)Anton Fig – “Know Where You Go (feat. Released in 1978 on the Pickwick label, at first glance the budget album "Mahalo from Elvis" could have seemed like any number of other slapdash repackaging of old recordings in the wake of Elvis's death. However "Mahalo" not only represented the first official release of the five post-show songs from "Aloha from Hawaii" filmed for inclusion in the continental US broadcast, but had originally been compiled by RCA's Joan Deary for release in late 1973. As an album that could have potentially been part of the lifetime canon of Elvis's album releases, has "Mahalo" been overlooked? Eventually certified Gold by the RIAA, many later-generation fans - including Justin - had it in their vinyl collection early on as a formative part of their Elvis musical experience. Bec and Justin decided to revisit the record and see how it holds up. For Song of the Week, Bec takes the baton from Olivia pick last week, highlighting another Don Robertson-penned number, the stunning "There's Always Me" from 1961. Justin, on the other hand, tries really hard not to let the potential for innuendo get out of hand as he digs into what sets Elvis's version of the country weeper "It Ain't No Big Thing (But It's Growing)" apart from numerous others before and after his. If you enjoy TCBCast, please consider supporting us with a donation at Patreon.com/TCBCast. Your support allows us to continue to provide thoughtful, provocative, challenging and well-researched perspectives on Elvis's career, his peers and influences, and his cultural impact and legacy.
Why This Episode Matters:DJ Grumble's story flips the myth of the “tortured full-time artist” on its head. A medicinal chemist by training, he treats his beat-making with the same rigor as a lab experiment, balancing structure and spontaneity while managing a startup, research deadlines, and a thriving music catalog. His journey shows that creativity and discipline aren't opposites; they're two sides of the same molecule.Explore the Stories Behind the BeatsLove diving into the stories behind the beats? Subscribe to ProducerHead and join producers and creatives exploring the ideas, habits, and inspiration that drive great music.Who is DJ Grumble:Producer, DJ, and chemist. Known for a massive catalog of soulful, sample-based beats, DJ Grumble built a cult following through SoundCloud, YouTube, and Bandcamp. DJ Grumble has produced tracks for RIAA-certified gold and platinum artists such as Ari Lennox and Surfaces, and his work has been featured in TV shows, movies, and video games, all while holding a PhD-level background in nano-medicine and now serving as co-founder of a cancer biotech startup in the Bay Area. What We Dive Into:* Parallels between scientific experimentation and sampling* Managing expectations and finding work-life balance* How to release fearlessly and build a catalog that compounds* The “quantity vs. quality” myth and the power of consistency* Business 101 for producers: PROs, SongTrust, and royalties* Collaboration, taste, and why addition is often subtraction* Merging two worlds: creativity and chemistryThree Key Takeaways:* Consistency > Perfection: Grumble's catalog exploded when he stopped over-editing and started releasing — one beat every week. He learned that fans, not artists, decide what hits.* Science and Sound Share the Same DNA: Sampling and chemistry both start with raw materials and transform them through experimentation. Grumble's scientific mindset fuels his musical process.* Manage Your Expectations: Whether it's the lab or the music business, results take time. Success compounds slowly — and you can only collect on your creativity if you understand the systems that pay you. Before You Go:What's your version of the “lab?” The place where you put in steady, focused work that no one sees?

We're celebrating our 10th anniversary all year by digging in the vaults to re-present classic episodes with fresh commentary. Today, we're revisiting our 2022 conversation with Roland Orzabal. ABOUT ROLAND ORZABAL AND TEARS FOR FEARS:Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith formed Tears for Fears in Bath, England, in 1981 and have gone on to sell 30 million albums worldwide. Their major breakthrough in the UK came in 1982 with the Top 5 single “Mad World” and the subsequent platinum-selling album The Hurting. They gained major steam in the US with their sophomore album Songs From the Big Chair, which included the hit singles “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” “Shout,” and “Head Over Heels.” Featured in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die, Songs From the Big Chair reached #1 and was certified five times Platinum by the RIAA. Tears for Fears' follow-up single “Sowing the Seeds of Love” was another massive hit, but Curt departed the group not long after. Following a couple of albums with Orzabal at the helm, the duo reunited for the Everybody Loves a Happy Ending album in 2004. Now, after a long wait of 17 years, Roland and Curt have just released their seventh studio album The Tipping Point, and are embarking on a major tour. Even as they bring us new music, their legacy is well-established as one of the most unique and influential British groups to emerge in the last few decades. Their songs have been covered or sampled by Gary Jules, Adam Lambert, Lorde, Kanye West, Drake, and many others. And, in 2021, the band was honored with the Outstanding Song Collection honor at the Ivor Novello Awards in London. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Dan himself has been full-time in ministry for the past 49 years. In early 1992, he was invited to join with friends Randy Phillips and Shawn Craig in recording an album for Starsong Records. The first release of their self-title project, Phillips, Craig, and Dean spawned four #1 songs; two on the A/C charts and two on the Inspo chart, and peaked at #13 on the Christian album sales charts. Since that debut project, Phillips, Craig, and Dean have released 13 studio albums, two Christmas albums, and a Hymns and Psalms album. Along the way, the group has garnered 13 Dove Award nominations, and won on four separate occasions, while selling over 2.5 million albums. Their hit single, ‘Revelation Song,' released in 2009, was certified Gold by RIAA, and they have been honored to see over 20 songs top the charts. During this time, Dan has also written or co-written many of the hits recorded by Phillips, Craig, and Dean including ‘Favorite Song of All,' which was nominated for a Dove Award for Contemporary Christian Song of the Year, and ‘I Want to Be Just Like You,' which received a nomination for Inspirational Song of the Year.In January of 2000, Dan and his wife Becky were asked to lead the church they had already been serving for 15 years. In October of 2019, he stepped down from the Lead Pastor role, but continues to be involved in the Heartland faith family. In June of 2025, he and his wife Becky will celebrate 40 years of being partners of Heartland Church.Today, Dan continues to travel and perform as the lead singer of Phillips, Craig, and Dean, but has also stepped into a new chapter by recording a solo album, entitled More. The new project features 11 songs, eight of which he either wrote or co-wrote. More has also allowed him to return to his country roots, where he feels most at home vocally. In addition to touring with Phillips, Craig, and Dean, Dan looks forward to sharing this new music with audiences across the country at select solo dates. dandeanofficial.com@danpcdchristianmusicguys.com@christianmusicguys

Tai Anderson is 4X Grammy Award winner with the Atlanta based rock band Third Day. Every record the released went RIAA gold with the exception of 1. In "contemporary Christian music" that is pretty rare. Tai talks about the early days, Roswell High School, Atlanta venues, recording studios, and his relationship with music. It's cool to see a grateful man talk about a band that means so much to my formidable years. In the spring of 2026 they are going on a 30 city arena tour to commemorate the release of their first record. In tow they are bringing another Grammy Award winner, Zach Williams. Right now, Zach is my favorite artist. Get out next year and go see them. Tell a friend. BBSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Not to mention, he has delivered show stopping television performances on Good Morning America. Before the world ever hears a note, reads a word, or witnesses a performance, Tauren always shares his artistry with his wife and children. We had the pleasure of interviewing Highly Suspect over Zoom video! Never content to follow, Highly Suspect push rock music forward by trusting their instincts and raising a middle finger to everything else. The multi-GRAMMY® Award-nominated and gold-certified band - Johnny Stevens [vocals, guitar], Ryan Meyer [drums, vocals], Rich Meyer [bass, vocals], Matt Kofos [guitar] and Mark Schwartz [keyboards/guitars] - don't just talk about burning the rules and breaking the mold; they actually do so.The band's chemically imbalanced mix of gritty guitars, haunting piano, off-kilter synths, hip-hop production, cinematic vision, and beautifully possessed vocals transformed them into a phenomenon beloved by a diehard global fanbase known as “MCID” [My Crew Is Dope]. After grinding it out as an underground curiosity, they scraped a path to mainstream infamousness with their 2015 full-length debut, Mister Asylum. It earned a GRAMMY® Award nomination in the category of “Best Rock Album” as the single “Lydia” received a nomination for “Best Rock Song” was certified gold by the RIAA.The 2016 follow-up The Boy Who Died Wolf roared to life with the gold-selling “My Name Is Human,” which catapulted to #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart and garnered a GRAMMY® Nomination for “Best Rock Song.” 2019's MCID affirmed them as the rare outfit who could collaborate with Young Thug and Gojira on the same album. Loudwire hailed the latter among the “50 Best Rock Albums of 2019.” With hundreds of millions of streams and sold out shows on multiple continents, Highly Suspect charged ahead of the pack again on 2022's The Midnight Demon Club with no compromises and no apologies as they challenged rock to be dangerous and maybe even life-changing again. This past summer the band shared their latest opus, As Above, So Below, is out now via Roadrunner/300/ElektraWe want to hear from you!
