As a child he starred as Danny Partridge on the TV show The Partridge Family. By his own admission, Danny's from such a dysfuntional family that his co-star Shirley Jones allowed him to stay at her home in order to avoid his difficult home life at the hands of his abusive father. Later in life, Danny became a black belt in Karate and found himself in trouble with the law. We talk about it all on this interview where he is accompanied by his then girlfriend and now his wife Amy Railsback who's from Rocklin and Roseville where I live. Check out this awesome talent who's overcome so much to become the stable actor, comedian, producer and radio talent that he is today.
In this the second instalment of the Batch Watch Sasquatch experiment Adam and Mark debrief and discuss The Asylum’s 'Bigfoot' from 2012 a Bigfoot flick that pits Danny Partridge and Greg Brady against a giant forest monster and the unlikely duo’s pledge to save the creature, which is the last of its species.
Rick and Dave chat with Danny Partridge himself, the memorable Danny Bonaduce. [Ep50] The post MM Celebrity Interview – Danny Bonaduce appeared first on Radio Misfits.
He was thrust into the limelight at a super young age, acting in tv commercials. He made his break thru as little brother, bass player Danny Partridge in the Partridge Family. He studied karate under the living legend Chuck Norris and he featured those skills on several episodes of the television show CHiPs. He has several black belts and national championships. After drugs took a toll on his bank account, he spent some time living in his car. After a radio interview he was offered gig as a DJ. He boxed for a while. He boxed Barry Williams, TV’s Greg Brady. He boxed music’s own, the Stormin’ Mormon Donny Osmond. He fought to a draw against admitted steroid user from MLB, Jose Canseco and he is undefeated against trans prostitutes. Come on get happy, it the Ballad of bad boy Danny Boom-Boom Bonaduce. Hear the fabled Danny Bonaduce album! Danny Bonaduce played Danny Partridge on The Partridge Family. He could not sing. So, true to the philosophy of bubblegum pop, he got his own solo album! We explore this album of strange gum and discover its links to The Brady Bunch, The Kids from Fame, Barbra Streisand, disco and even The Door's Jim Morrison! Of course, the history of rock and roll always comes back to bubblegum. We also get some bubblegum music from the Rock 'n' Roll Dubble Bubble Trading Card Co., David Cassidy, and Bruce Roberts (whoever that is).
Tread Perilously's "Too Many Kids!" month makes its way to The Partridge Family with the episode called "Did You Hear the One About Danny Partridge?" After Danny gets his leg caught in a mic cable during a performance, he flees the stage in embarrassment. But when Reuben Kincaid convinces him the audience believed it was part of the act, Danny decides to learn some classic comedy routines. It fails to go over during rehearsals, but the ever hopeful Partridge wants to find a tight five minutes of A-material before the family leaves for an engagement in Hawaii. Will a battle-hardened talent agent set him straight? Erik admits to feeling a kinship with Bea Arthur. He also threatens Justin with another screening of The Star Wars Holiday Special. Justin tries to discern the premise of The Partridge Family from this unfortunate episode. H.P. Lovecraft gets involved somehow. The Partridge title sequence gets appraised and the pair pronounce judgement on Reuben Kincaid. The president makes a rare appearance. Erik proclaims Danny Bonaduce the Corey Feldman of the 1970s, which leads to a closer examination of the former's history as a public figure. Don Drysdale reappears as a cement salesman. The nature of comedy itself gets examined and Erik refuses to believe the rich use young people's plasma to remain healthy.

Our excruciating all-summer-long review of High Feather continues! In High Feather episode 4, the kids publish the camp newspaper (using incredible technology like mimeograph machines and typewriters), and we learn a goofy apple-picking song too. (How did this show not sweep the Emmy Awards?) It's also National Gummy Worm Day, which makes us ponder the existence of gummy skinks (because creepy lizards just make everything better). And we review the list of celebrity contestants on the new Battle of the Network Stars, a revival of the classic (and ridiculous) Howard Cosell-hosted show from the 70s and 80s. The new show promises to be ridiculous too, but the players include Greg Brady, Danny Partridge, Daisy Duke, the Incredible Hulk, Isaac the Bartender, Electra Woman, and a couple of Facts of Life girls. So yeah, they have our attention, even if this is seriously cutting into our High Feather time. Next week: We'll be back from CONvergence! Hopefully!

This UPROARIOUS episode stars the hysterical and ALWAYS game for anything, DANNY BONADUCE! The guy who rose to fame as "Danny Partridge" opens up about EVERYTHING: the marriages, the arrests, and the crazy career - and he's very funny doing it! Also: Cursing with the kids; How high the sun; Gary loves Tommy Bahama; and a guest appearance from Sarah Partridge! [The Danny Bonaduce and Sarah Show airs weekdays on 102.5 KZOK-FM in Seattle]
Actor, comedian and radio host Danny Bonaduce started in show business at age four and achieved fame at age ten as smart-alecky Danny Partridge on the hit sitcom "The Partridge Family." But within a year of the show's cancellation, he was homeless, battling substance abuse and piling up arrests. Gilbert and Frank dialed up Danny at his home in Seattle to ask him about his early roles on shows like "Bewitched" and "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir," his four years as a Partridge and his long, VERY strange trip from tabloid celebrity to reality show "train wreck" to top-rated shock jock and radio show host. Also: Danny meets a young Richard Pryor, bangs up Sonny Bono's Porsche, runs afoul of an angry chimp and dukes it out with Donny Osmond and Greg Brady. PLUS: Ray Bolger! Mick Jagger! Whit Bissell! Shirley Jones sends Danny to his room! And David Cassidy displays his hidden "talent!" Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
