Whether it's a sled dog survival game, a balletic gunman with a talking banana, or a rhythm-based Zelda game, there's always plenty to talk about after a Nintendo Indie Direct. This week on the NXpress Nintendo Podcast Tim and Patrick are joined once again by Goomba Stomp writer Izsak Barnette to pore over the latest weird game announcements for the Switch, and once again we try to convince him that there are definitely some titles worth getting excited about! From The Red Lantern to Cuphead to Rad, and with a little Cadence of Hyrule thrown in for good measure (eh? eh?), we go over some of the highlights, including what we're most looking forward to getting our hands on. Before that, Patrick gives his review of the popular new puzzle game Baba is You. Is the game is clever? Or are the results mixed? Izsak also recaps his experience with Space War Arena, a real-time strategy game apparently involving mindless drones in space. Later on, Izsak also gives us his opinion on how well a charming Wii hit translates to the 3DS with Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn. And yes, we go off on movie tangents. Again.
