Incredible podcast contribution straight from Buenos Aires by one of the finest young artists Argentina has to be offer, FARCEB. Very glad to have the opportunity to welcome him into the series showcasing, as it's customary, one of his utterly brilliant and completely transcendental studio mixes. In 2015 he founded his own label, Nordem Records; and in 2016 he released two top-in-class, four-tracker EPs on Arts and MindTrip (the latter a collaboration with compatriot Alderaan). The last couple of years have marked significant growth in Farceb's musical career and his future is, without a doubt, as bright as the incomparable depth and quality of his artistic productions. This is Farceb in the mix, folks. For the past 10 years, MindTrip has been a strong plattform for some of the most interesting upcoming artists in the techno scene, while also offering contributions of established techno acts all over the world. Producers like Jonas Kopp, Psyk, Markus Suckut and label chief Pfirter gave his first steps on the label and now we have a chance to spread this music even wider with our MindTrip Podcast. On our 11th edition, we feature an exclusive recording by MindTrip's new addition: Farceb. Enjoy!
Farceb is a project based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. About four years ago he started listening music, dark techno influenced sounds. He has recorded for several labels from Alemania, Spain, Mexico and Italy (ARTS, Subsequent Records, Natch Records, Prototype Sequence, Concerns Music, Circular LTD, Modul & Tono Ltd), and has shared the stage with many artists including Oscar Mulero in Cocoliche. Farceb is now working on new material for ARTS 12″ and Orioni Records 12″, an upcoming new label by Luis Ruiz (Warm up Recordings). oooooooooooooooo Q&A oooooooooooooooo 1) We are under the impression that techno is a big part of the club scene in Buenos Aires. Just how important is it? Yes, definitely the techno music in Argentina is growing. There are a lot of new producers and new techno parties that are doing things right. I think in a few years Buenos Aires will have a big techno scene. To the people actually like the techno style and is well received by the crowds. 2) Before techno, what kind of music influenced you? Before listening to Techno i listened to other styles such as indie nu disco and hard techno, I believe that served much to complement my current style. I do not like any other type of music that is not related to electronic music. 3) Some producers spend hours and days in the studio, and others have a more spontaneous approach to their productions. How do you work? I spend most of my time in my studio. There are no days that I don't like to make music. Sometimes I spend many hours producing and don’t rest before I make something out of my ideas. 4) What would your profession be if you did not dj and produce music? I would like to someday get my diploma in international merchandise, that will be my profession in a few years. 5) If you were to choose any club in the world to play, which one would you pick? I would like to play at Berghain or Tresor. This is my dream Track list: #N/A https://www.facebook.com/Farcebmusic http://soundcloud.com/farceb
