A humble lover of electronic music since childhood, he gradually found his way to deeper, darker techno, where he truly feels at home. Étam is known for creating long mixes that highlight careful equalization, allowing the music to breathe and take listeners on a sonic journey. In 2022, he and his brother Jorge launched their own record label Loopaina Records, striving to carve out a place in the competitive techno scene, which is dominated by established artists' labels. Taking over our latest edition of Select is Bahrain-based DJ Sudz. Having initially begun his journey in the electronic music scene seven years ago spinning Jungle and Drum & Bass, Sudz has recently started dabbling more into the techno spectrum. He has quickly built a reputation in the region for his vigilant crate digging and multi-layered sets that traversed dancefloors in Dubai and Amman. His select set, which marks his comeback to the night life after a brief hiatus, encompasses sounds from his earliest influences, toeing with the peripheries between chill hypnotic melodies and dark ominous grooves –all wrapped in a relentless 4/4 drum pattern. The set features eclectic tunes by international artists such as ‘RB208' by Oscar Mulero, ‘Forgotten Dunes' by Funk Assault, and ‘Linear System' by Kosher.
Reeko, also known as Architectural, started DJing in the late 90s and producing in the early 2000s, and he has released countless timeless records since. He founded the labels Mental Disorder and Evidence and was part of the PoleGroup collective for a decade. Collaborations with Surgeon, Oscar Mulero and Exium, as well as releases on many legendary labels, are part of his discography. His recent explorations on the Drum & Bass label Samurai make it clear that Juan Rico has found new ways to experiment with his sound. Available on SoundCloud & Apple Podcasts. Enjoy!

By May 2018, he continued his sonic journey with an EP on Patrik Skoog's Discrete Data Records, before dropping his debut album Dah LP on Subsist Records in February 2020. With a career that has seen him share stages with techno legends like Jeff Mills, DJ Deep, Oscar Mulero, and many more, Vakat has consistently pushed boundaries and delivered deep, immersive experiences. Hallo Freunde freue mich sehr euch heute eine neue Epiosde meiner Indie Dance The Mix Series präsentieren zu können. Diesmal mit Dj & Producer David Campos aka Pumuki aus Madrid,Spanien. Hello friends I am very pleased to be able to present you a new episode of my Indie Dance The Mix Series today. This time with Dj & Producer David Campos aka Pumuki from Madrid, Spain. LINKS SOUNDCLOUD https://soundcloud.com/pumuki-4 INSTAGRAM https://www.instagram.com/pumuki_pincha_discos/ Booking: pumukipinchadiscos@gmail.com BIO David Campos Torres, better known as Pumuki, fiddled with two cassette decks when he was only 10 years old, making his first mixes. He is a lover of many musical styles, since since childhood, thanks to his father, he has nurtured a good musical culture with styles such as heavy metal, reggae, rock, Italian disco and many more. Back in 1998 his parents gave him his first and only Technics, that's when he began to fully enter the world of electronics. He started mixing hard techno, pulling for the tribal style with references like Cristian Varela, Ben Sims or Samuel L. Session. At the age of 17 he made his debut at Liquid Dance Club where he shared the booth with Dj's of the stature as Oscar Mulero, Mónica Osmos, Raúl Parra or Toni Verdi. From there he began to play in discos and clubs in Madrid and Toledo, including venues such as Groove or Van Vas, the latter being chosen as a finalist in the Phrenetic Society casting. Between 1999 and 2004 he organized the mythical raves called Dê-lüxe´, being known throughout the south of Madrid and north of Toledo for organizing from an abandoned dairy farm to other secret locations or even in a truck. By 2005 he began to experiment with other styles such as minimal or electroclash, the latter was the one that marked him for the rest of his musical career. To this day his sessions do not cease to amaze since the line is indie, with vocals and melodies but with the electroclash spirit that marked him in his day, surprising with some eighties jewel that leaves his listeners perplexed. Now he is starting in the world of music production, in which he is very excited about his new projects. Channeling a proper club night, our premiere for today arrives in the form of Polish producer, Rethe and his offering on Inner Tension's forthcoming VA, Resonating Pulse. Helmed by a fellow countryman, Blazej Malinowskis' personal imprint has featured a variety of familiar names, from Svreca to Oscar Mulero. With each release feeling impactful and tastefully done. Momentum Shift is a raucous affair, there's no doubt about that. The groove is established immediately, the bass line snakes along as punchy kicks and shakers give a playful atmosphere. What's missing… ah, the smoke and one or two hands in the air. Don't get too secure though tempos change, and a well done break down lends the track a nice twist and identity. Momentum Shift, and the entirety of the Resonating Impulse release will be out on November 7th. @r_ethe @innertension www.instagram.com/rethe_music/ www.instagram.com/inner_tension/ Write up by @huedj Follow us on social media: @itsdelayed linktr.ee/delayed www.itsdelayed.com www.facebook.com/itsdelayed www.instagram.com/_____delayed www.youtube.com/@_____delayed
"They were wild and crazy years." The Spanish techno icon discusses his early years in Madrid, running record labels and staying true to his sound for more than 30 years. Spanish DJ and producer Oscar Mulero is a legend of underground techno. Since starting to play parties and make music more than 30 years ago, he's earned a reputation as an anti-conformist tastemaker who's adamantly stuck to his guns. While his trajectory began with Madrid's goth and punk clubs in the '90s, he eventually found techno in the early '00s and started two labels, PoleGroup and Warm Up, as homes for the hypnotic, spaced-out sound that's become his signature. In this RA Exchange, Mulero reflects on the early days of the Spanish techno scene and how it's evolved, as well as his own roots and influences. Today, the artist is as active as he's ever been, he discusses how he's maintained longevity as an artist in the face of changing trend, as well as his best practices for making music at home and on the road. Listen to the episode in full.

MNMT Label Showcase presents Northallsen Records mixed by Aleja Sanchez (@djalejasanchez) Northallsen Records is an electronic music label founded in Bogotá, Colombia in 2016 by Aleja Sanchez. The label's sound embraces the realms of hypnotism and explores the fusion between organic soundscapes, experimental and acoustic elements, with the powerful load of techno music, revealing a sonic narrative that flows between the mysticism of ancestral cultures and the spiritual power of nature. In order to build the concept, far away from trying to emulate a sound, the label curation is focused on artists with their own identity and particular voice, with a foundation into their musical and artistic proposals. Recent releases have featured the likes of Oscar Mulero, Deepbass, Reggy van Oers, Magna Pia, Polygonia, Tekra, !nertia, Psyk, Laertes, Iori and founder Aleja Sanchez. The label is intended to keep and highlight the deepness and beauty of techno and electronic music since Northallsen considers music as a tool to help bring harmony and peace in the middle of the tragic war-related situation we all are facing currently around the world. We premiere some fresh churning techno from Spanish producer ROI as he features on Wetland's latest VA. ‘Selri' is a gritty piece of functional and club focussed techno, taking influence from his Spanish techno counterparts Oscar Mulero and Kike Pravda. The latest release on Wetland explores rhythms of endless fields alongside intricate textures and clenched fisted techno grit. The VA invites the likes of Asmodeo, iBOT, Isgang, Phase Objekt, Konstantin Darko & more to a impressive compilation of contemporary techno. We premiere music from Spanish techno boss ROI – a tireless promoter operating in the North West of Spain playing an active role in artistic projects such as Fanzine and Cudbe. The Spanish techno stahlwarth is best known by his rhythmic and eclectic DJ sets. ROI could be defined as a cultural agent, who, beyond bringing a breath of fresh air to the dance floor, tirelessly seeks to renew the musical language with brilliant ideas that make that experience magical, unique, but above all, so much fun. as accessible and enriching. We feature ROI's contribution to the Wetland VA ‘Selri' – an abrasive hypnotic techno cut that soars in intensity as the track advances. ROI leans on pounding drums alongside a pulsating lead synth that menacingly cuts through the mix, giving an anaesthetic locked feel to the track. The track could easily fit into a horror film, providing eerie soundscapes and synth line that growls like a chainsaw ready to let rip. Back again for another release, we have our friend Chris Stane, churning the mix with blends of techno and underground grooves, enjoy! -- Follow @xtopherstane https://www.instagram.com/chris_stane_ -- "A Southern California DJ and producer, Chris Stane, gravitates toward the dark and hypnotic. Debuting his first track on his Reflections mix, you'll find him spinning anything from minimal tech, to deeply layered psytrance, and everything in between. Cultivating the feel of a thumping warehouse with the ominous glitches of desert renegades, he introduces a mixture of textures with extended crescendos and hard thumping baselines, based on his favorite scenes." -- Tracklist: 1. A veritable powerhouse of the Croatian techno scene Insolate has been establishing a global presence as a DJ and producer for over 20 years delivering as both a label boss at Out Of Place and the creative force behind their electrifying TRAUM events. Hailing from Osijek, Croatia, on the wide Croatian East – a town that at first glance a heavy industrial atmosphere overshadows, she is making her first steps as a DJ back in 1997 before taking over European and worldwide clubs. Her list of clubs and partys she played is impressive and includes Berghain, Rex, Tresor, Under Club, Club d'Anvers, Unter, Exit Festival, Tomorrowland, ADE and Dimensions Festival. Amongst many European clubs she played numerous tours in Colombia and recently added USA, China and Argentina to the list. As a producer, she's had a string of releases on highly respected labels including DJ Deep's Deeply Rooted, Marcelus's Singular and Developer's Modularz - supported and played by some of techno's finest including Laurent Garnier, DVS1, Dax J and Ilario Alicante. Also she released the stellar Obscure Object Of Desire EP on JoeFarr's new User Experience imprint, EP for a Suara and beautiful EP for Proletarijat, label run by Sev Dah. She also contributed to Ben Sim's compilation Tribology among giants as Planetary Assault Systems, Oscar Mulero, Steffi etc. and also made super interesting collaboration with french producer Arnaud le Texier and released EP with him for Prodigal Son. In 2019. she announced her debut album. The album Order is Chaos was released as a double vinyl and contains 10 tracks with extremely interesting collaborations with MATRIXXMAN and singer SARA RENAR. DJ Mag (UK) described album as “exciting journey thru trans-dimensional vocals, acid drenched sequences and floor obligated bangers.” Insolate is also a major contributor to the Croatian techno scene, so much so that she was in Ibiza to receive the award for "Dance Nation of the Year" at the DJ Awards on behalf of her nation. Her and long-time partner in crime Volster also run the event series TRAUM in her native Osijek. TRAUM events have cemented their place in the clubbing calendar with quality artists like Paula Temple, Antigone, Cassegrain, Janice, Etapp Kyle and Milton Bradley, just to name a few. The success of the TRAUM nights caught the attention of Red Bull Music Academy and Dimensions – both of which they have hosted official events for. Insolate being an international messenger of techno was recognised by Ambassador award that gave her a title "Croatia's ambassador overseas" for 2017. The final part of putting Osijek on the techno map was taken in 2015 with the launch of the label Out Of Place which Insolate runs with Volster. The label was named in honour of the beautiful struggle of carving your own way into the scene from a place that's well off the grid from the traditional capitals of techno. Now five releases strong, the label has already had contributions from heavyweights like Milton Bradley, Developer, JoeFarr, Francois X, Janice and many more. As a DJ, Insolate is well known for her no-compromise, pure-bred techno sets. It's clear to anyone who's seen her perform that she's an artist with a lot of experience but also plenty of inspiration and ambition, and a deep knowledge of techno. She is simply a natural presence in a DJ booth. If you've seen her play, you will know exactly what this means.

MONUMENT 329 : RENA Thought-provoking and stimulating, RENA stacks MNMT 329 with cerebral loops, hypnotizing drones, and lively percussion. Separating herself as a DJ in an increasingly competitive industry, RENA leaped into the notable territory through persistent work ethic and cerebral curations. From Greece, RENA's journey started locally - offering extensive experience to develop her technical and programming skills. Capitalizing on subgenres ranging from dub and deep techno, to driving and raw, RENA surfaces a variety of flavors within, oftentimes including arpeggio accents, emotion-invocation, and heavy atmospherics. RENA carries her selective taste into MNMT 329, bringing listeners an array of hidden gems. With each track emphasizing an element of its own, some share driving “bleeps and bloops”, deep drones, and arpeggios to drive the hour forward. RENA has been heard playing at acclaimed international venues alongside seasoned artists such as Oscar Mulero, Sebastian Mullaert, Dasha Rush, Len Faki, and Ben Sims. This week's Local Selection is from Dublin native and rising DJ and producer Aoise, as we invite her to soundtrack your Wednesday afternoon. The young DJ and producer is a graduate of the Sunil Sharpe, Doug Cooney and DeFeKT school of excellence, having studied DJ techniques and music production at BIFE. There have been many high hitters to come from this course and after hearing Aoise's take on tunes we look forward to what's in store for her. Her sound stems from dark, dubby techno that has developed and matured through the years, taking inspiration from the likes of Ø [Phase], Sterac, Oscar Mulero and Sleeparchive. Having shared lineups with some of Europe's heavy hitters Christoph Faust (FKA Inhalt Der Nacht), Sunil Sharpe, Tommy Holohan and Shampain, we expect to see much more of her in the future. Born in Madrid, living somewhere in Europe, Irazu's connection with electronic music is just a symbol of sonic expressionism of self discovery to try to know what and who he is. Starting his contribution to music as a promoter of parties in Madrid, making music and releasing records was a necessary way to express emotions that he felt a few years later. His first records came out in the last two years in Kastil's label ‘'Stale'', working with artists like Acronym, Regis, Pessimist and Kastil, ‘'Study for portrait'' was released giving again his personal vision of techno as a mini album. After a few more releases in Platforms like Hooded or Artificial intelligence and some remixes, Irazu released ‘'140.15 EP'' on Kastil's label Stale giving his most intense and dance focused tracks he ever made. Irazu continues his constant search of new sounds and ways to explore his mind through music. His influences comes specially from the UK west Midlands, Holland, Italy and Spain, figures like Regis, Svreca, Autechre, Oscar Mulero, Donato Dozzy, Luke Slater or Surgeon are a way to define what he believes in a sonic way. He defines his work as ‘'A intimate space between tension and false tranquility'' -- 087: Irazu from Somewhere, Europe https://soundcloud.com/irazu-1 https://www.facebook.com/irazumusic
