Each of them is an accomplished musician, who published stuff on classic vinyl on russian and international labels. The history of Ryabina started in 2017, when Igor Phoboz and Vadim Ronin started doing music improvisations with electronic devices. Home studio was on Ryabinina street and hence the name. Shine Grooves joined the group later. Actually there was the fourth member of Ryabina: the cat called Pasha. He was a real member of the group during the improvisations: he pushed the buttons of the grooveboxes, walked across the synthesizer keys, he did a lot! All Ryabina self-released works were published with Pasha’s photos. Unfortunately he died in 2018. P is for Pasha. Рябина — это группа импровизаторов из Екатеринбурга. Elisa Batti is a producer, DJ and sound designer based in Amsterdam. In her projects she always likes to push and expand the boundaries of the contemporary music to the limits, trying to assemble it into multidisciplinary projects. Elisa has been working as a sound designer and tech developer for many art installations and theater pieces since 2007. Her works have been presented worldwide (Palais de Tokyo,Taiwan National Theater, Ballet National de Marseille, Kinetica Museum London, Helbphilarmonie Hamburg). Since 2015 Elisa Batti slowly stepped actively into the techno environment as a producer and DJ which lead her in 2018 to create her own label, together with colleague @cybofficial: @immaterialarchives. Her DJ sets are always pure-bred techno. Such a varied approach to the music is also due to Elisa’s background, which is not strictly artistic. She graduated as environmental engineer and continued her academic career achieving A PhD and two Post Docs. Simone Giudice is a composer who accesses the world of musical experimentation through the clubs' doors. His techno and dance-oriented attitude is the origin of a profound study of sound acquired in academic studies of electro-acoustic composition at the "Santa Cecilia" Conservatory of Music in Rome.
