In this explosive Heretics interview, left-wing trade unionist Paul Embery delivers a scathing critique of Britain's political class, Keir Starmer, wokeness, multiculturalism, mass immigration and the modern Left. From Labour's abandonment of the working class to the Lebanon-isation of Britain, Embery unpacks the deep cultural and political crisis facing the UK. "No other country trashes its own history like Britain." "The Labour Party is now run by social activists and student radicals." "We promoted a hard multiculturalism that is now fracturing the country." #PaulEmbery #BritishPolitics #CultureWar Support my guest by going to http://paulembery.com Get his book, Despised: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Despised-Modern-Loathes-Working-Class/dp/1509539999 Follow him on X: https://x.com/PaulEmbery Join the 30k heretics on my mailing list: https://andrewgoldheretics.com Check out my new documentary channel: https://youtube.com/@andrewgoldinvestigates Andrew on X: https://twitter.com/andrewgold_ok Insta: https://www.instagram.com/andrewgold_ok Heretics YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@andrewgoldheretics Chapters: 0:00 Paul Embery Highlights 0:55 Is the UK Just An Airport? 3:55 Elites & Liberal Progressivism 6:45 JD Vance - Elites vs Ordinary People 7:55 Conspiracy Theories About Kate Middleton 9:40 Epstein's Island & Hunter Biden's Laptop 12:25 What Happened to the Left? 15:25 The Best Example of Leftist Contempt 20:20 Will What Happened to Lebanon Happen to Us? 23:55 Cultural Enrichment 26:55 Tommy Robinson 30:55 Delivery Man Kicking Fella on the Floor 33:55 Japan Example 37:55 National Identity & Making Parliament Artists More Diverse 40:55 Prince Harry the Worst Example 43:55 Harry & Meghan Criticism 47:20 Owen Jones 48:55 Problem with Queers for Palestine 51:55 What We Can Learn From Trump 55:10 A Heretic Paul Admires Learn more about your ad choices. It's another solo ep this week (following a late guest drop-out) but that did give a chance to reflect on a rancorous week in British politics. From Labour's mafioso style 'leaning' on Lindsay Hoyle to Lee Anderson going in two footed under the Ref's nose - it's all here. I try to approach it with nuance which means I'll probably annoy everybody. Plus I include a FREE AUDIOBOOK CHAPTER from my book THE BRITISH BLOKE DECODED. The Greens have signed on the dotted line to accept a post-election deal with the Labour Government.Green Party members agreed last night to what's being labelled the "cooperation agreement".Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says it represents the continuation of the Labour-Greens relationship and provides stability. She says she wants to bring as much consensus as possible, although this agreement didn't require consensus to be formed.Greens co-leader Marama Davidson told reporters the party understands the opportunity. She says for the first time in MMP history - a party with a clear majority has afforded ministerial positions and cooperation areas... while still allowing the Greens to maintain a unique voice.Former United Future leader Peter Dunne told the Weekend Collective the winner from this new cooperation agreement is Labour."What they've done is they've thrown out a few little tidbits to the Greens, but the price of that is that they will almost certainly get the Greens vote on everything, as well as confidence and supply."He says that, from the Greens point of view, they would be happy with the deal by getting the ministerial portfolios. The danger for them is they could be neutered on issues that are important to them."From Labour's point of view, that's precisely what they want, the Greens corralled into a corner where they can't be a conscience to Labour on the left."LISTEN ABOVE

With the general election just two weeks away we wanted to get the inside track from three party political experts on how their side’s campaign has gone so far, and what they expect to happen on December 12. From the Lib Dems we welcomed Mark Pack, the Editor of Liberal Democrat Newswire. From Labour, Sienna Rodgers, the Editor LaboutList, and completing the line-up was the regular CapX contributor and Assistant Editor of ConservativeHome, Henry Hill. As well as marking the 70th anniversary of the National Health Service, this year marks a similar milestone in adult social care. But whereas our notions of fairness in treating those who fall ill are simple and straightforward - free to those who require care at the point of delivery in the NHS - with social care it is different: means testing remains the device by which assistance with care is decided. When it comes to helping the aged and the infirm, then, we struggle with decidedly different ideas of fairness - and have done so since the advent of National Assistance - the forerunner of today's social care - in 1948. What should the individual contribute and how much should the state provide? What ideas of fairness properly apply in providing social care? And how can agreement on them be reached? Paul Johnson - the director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies, the respected economic research body - asks why politicians should find it so difficult to agree on simple ideas of equity and fairness in this area. From Labour's so-called "death tax" in 2010 to the Conservatives' alleged "dementia tax" last year, attempts to come up with ways to reform a system that is widely considered to have broken down, have collapsed in failure and left both main parties reluctant to get their fingers burnt again with proposals for change. So with the pressures on available services continuing to grow as the proportion of the population that is elderly rises and its needs become more specialised and as numbers of working age adults with social care needs increase, Paul Johnson considers what principles a fair social care system should enshrine and what likelihood there is that policies to give effect to them will be implemented. Editor Hugh Levinson.
