But it has cast a crippling shadow over a great many lives. Long Covid doesn't just leave its victims physically exhausted: the impacts are mental, emotional, economic, social and brutal. Worse still, Long Covid is not well understood and, as a result, treatments are sadly lacking. And it can come with a stigma – like other debilitating illnesses, patients often don't get taken seriously.
