Pastor Greg continues our sermon series, Revive, and uses Mordecai's and Esther's experience in Esther 3-4 to remind us that even when things seem to be going wrong--sometimes even as a result of our good works in His name--that God is still faithful in the midst of it. Therefore, even when things don't make sense to us, we can remain steadfast and obedient to the Lord in our good works, knowing He's with us, that He's gone before us, and that He'll work all things out of His good.

God uses pivotal circumstances to grow our faith. Sometimes these circumstances can be positive (new work opportunity, growing family, etc.), but many times God uses trouble and pain to grow our faith and reliance on Him. Pivotal circumstances test our faith, but from that blessing comes (James 1).
