The presence of the Holy Spirit brings us peace with God, and because we are God's precious children, sin will not be able to separate us from Him.By Rev. Simon Park
This week we cover the following verses that do not need any introduction. Titus 3:55 He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but because of His own pity and mercy, by [the] cleansing [bath] of the new birth (regeneration) and renewing of the Holy Spirit, Romans 5:1-31 Therefore, since we are justified ([a]acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right standing with God) through faith, let us [grasp the fact that we] have [the peace of reconciliation to hold and to [b]enjoy] peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).2 Through Him also we have [our] access (entrance, introduction) by faith into this grace (state of God's favor) in which we [firmly and safely] stand. And let us rejoice and exult in our hope of experiencing and enjoying the glory of God.3 Moreover [let us also be full of joy now!] let us exult and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure and affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance. Hebrews 13:55 Let your [a]character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] [b]Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor [c]give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [d][I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor [e]let [you] down ([f]relax My hold on you)! [[g]Assuredly not!] This program covers the following Scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): Titus 3:5, Romans 5:1-3, Hebrews 13:5.Support the showClick Here to Send Us Your Prayer Request.
In 1965, Mick Jagger, the lead singer of The Rolling Stones, and the lead guitarist, Keith Richards, wrote one of their most popular hit songs; “Can't Get No Satisfaction.” This 1965 classic perfectly captures that restless, unfulfilled endless chase for satisfaction that nothing in the world can truly provide. Many of you feel like you have tried everything, and yet you aren't satisfied. Something deep inside still feels empty, restless, and lonely. Billy Graham stood before brilliant students at Harvard when one asked, “Tell me plainly, how can I know God?” The answer hasn't changed in 2,000 years. Today we'll walk through the four simple yet powerful steps from God's Word that will answer plainly, how you can know God.1 - God's Purpose2 - Our Problem3 - God's Remedy4 - Our ResponseKey Scriptures used in today's teaching: Romans 5:6-11Other Scriptures referenced: Romans 15:13; John 10:10; Isaiah 59:2; Romans 6:23; 2 Peter 3:9; 1 Timothy 2:5-6; 1 Peter 2:24-25; John 1:12-13; Romans 10:13If you prayed with Tiff, click here https://lostlamb.org/ and let him know! Why do New Testament greetings consistently begin with grace and then peace? In today's episode of the MY Devotional Podcast, Dr. Michael Youssef answers with a Gospel cornerstone: no one can experience the peace of God before receiving the grace of God. Grace is the doorway; peace is the fruit. Anchored in Christ's finished work, believers have peace yesterday, today, and forever. Jesus bore the punishment that brought us peace (Isaiah 53:5), and God made the sinless Savior to be sin for us so we could be declared righteous (2 Corinthians 5:21). That means peace isn't a mood—it's a restored relationship with God. And grace doesn't only reconcile us vertically; it reshapes our relationships horizontally. As we walk in the Spirit, we can extend grace and forgiveness to others, reflecting the peace we've received. Finally, Dr. Youssef lifts our eyes to the future: a day when shalom—complete wholeness—will be perfected forever, with no more tears, pain, or brokenness (Revelation 21:4). Are you resting in Christ's grace—and therefore His peace—right now? Prayer: God, I praise You for the grace and peace You have given to me. Help me to own it in the present in my relationships with You and others as I anticipate my future in the glory of Christ. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen. “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5). The gospel of peace is more than a comforting idea. It's the declaration that Jesus reigns as King, bringing wholeness to your relationship with God, quieting the conflicts within you, and restoring your connection with others. When doubt, shame, or division threaten to knock you off balance, this truth becomes your firm footing. Listen now and be inspired to preach the gospel to yourself daily and stand grounded in lasting peace.

The book of Romans can be a tricky book to understand. Whenever you encounter a difficult passage, the Bible can always be used to explain itself. Pastor Mike uses the story of Jacob wrestling with God in Genesis 32 to explain Romans 5:1. So many people are wrestling with God spiritually and need to try to stop getting God to submit, but submit themselves to Jesus Christ.
Go be a peacemaker. First, you gotta have peace yourself. God has made PEACE WITH ME. The least I can do is act like it.Then, there should be a PEACE DIVIDEND that is demonstrable to my fellow combatants. Listen 7 minutes toward peace.https://youtu.be/--JOea0upMA

Epistle to the Romans chapter 5 reveals the foundation of the believer's hope—being justified by faith and having peace with God through Jesus Christ. Paul explains that even in suffering, believers can rejoice because trials produce perseverance, character, and hope. At the heart of the chapter is God's incredible love: Christ died for us while we were still sinners. Through Adam came sin and death, but through Christ comes grace, righteousness, and life. This chapter reminds us that God's grace is greater than sin, and His love secures our peace and future. In this Good Friday sermon, Dave focuses on justification, which is defined as being made right with God and having all guilt removed through the death of Jesus. He outlines how Jesus' work on the cross provides a "justifying grace" that reconciles sinners to God, offering permanent peace, access, and hope regardless of life's afflictions.

This sermon, The Consequences of Our Sin, reveals how sin creates separation from God and leads to spiritual consequences that only Jesus can resolve. It highlights that through justification, reconciliation, and salvation, believers are restored, protected from wrath, and brought into a right relationship with God.
On Palm Sunday Jesus didn't come as a conquering hero but as a peaceful king, fulfilling ancient prophecy in the most unexpected way. Christ offers something deeper than political victory: true peace with God. Jesus is the King who reveals false worship, restores broken worship, and receives humble worship.
The sermon centers on Jesus' promise of peace and the Holy Spirit's vital role in sustaining believers, particularly in times of fear and confusion. Drawing from John 14:25–27, it emphasizes that Jesus' departure is not abandonment but a necessary step for the Holy Spirit to come, who will teach believers all things, bring to remembrance Christ's words, and continue His ministry of revelation and transformation. This divine guidance ensures the accuracy and authority of Scripture and equips the church for life and godliness, affirming the sufficiency of God's Word. The peace Jesus gives is not the world's fleeting, conditional peace but a deep, eternal peace rooted in reconciliation with God, justification by faith, and the hope of eternal glory—transforming suffering into joy and reorienting believers' hearts toward eternal realities. The sermon calls believers to trust this peace, recognize its source in the Spirit's work, and live with the confidence that nothing in life can outweigh the surpassing worth of being made right with God.
Taste and see that the Lord is good” isn't just an idea—it's an invitation. When we stop striving and start trusting, something shifts inside of us. Fear loosens, shame fades, and what we begin to experience is true peace. Not because life is perfect, but because God is present.

This message begins with a mighty "Therefore," marking one of the great transitions in this book in Romans 5:1, 2. Having seen God's great plan of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ revealed at the Cross of Christ, and discovering how each believer is saved by faith as exemplified in Abraham, we turn to consider now the life-changing ramifications of our faith. We discover Three Treasures each believer has as a result of God's declaration of us as righteous through faith in Jesus Christ: we have PEACE WITH GOD through our LORD Jesus Christ, through Him we have been introduced by faith into an eternal GRACE in which we stand, and we can confidently boast in our HOPE of the Glory of God.visit us at: conejochurch.com
