He came to abroom bush,  sat down under it and prayed that he might die. “I have hadenough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors.” I Kings 19:9 And the word of the Lord came to him: “What are you doing here,Elijah?”I Kings 19:10 He replied, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty.The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put yourprophets to death with the sword. How do you know when God is moving amongst His people? You'll see repentance, humility, and transformed hearts. But this message tells the story of someone everyone else had written off—yet God redeemed—to show how He makes room for the most unlikely people, rewrites broken stories, and calls us to do the same.
