Casey and Danielle are joined by lovely human and Housewives historian, Jarett Wieselman, who guested one year ago to the day, in the before times. Jarett was with Casey and Danielle when they heard the news that stars ARE just like us and that Tom Hanks had COVID - the night before the world fell apart. So it only felt right to have Jarett back to discuss the Housewives lives that are falling apart. Of which there are many! Casey shares a recent devastating loss from which she will never recover and Danielle attempts empathy for her- but fails miserably. The three talk Dallas, Atlanta, Jersey and Salt Lake Reunion Part 3...mainly about when Mary tried to eat fake snow. Upsetting stuff.
Social media guru Jarett Wieselman is on the show this week to talk about s2, e11: EVOLUTION.Jarett shares his personal connections to, and thoughts on, the show, including his take on why Carrie is the most sexually repressed character on an otherwise sexually open show, and a shocking story involving his own nose. (Can YOU guess what prop Jarett sniffed?) We also touch on the upcoming continuation of the series, and how it will fly without Samantha Jones.Find Jarett at: twitter.com/JarettSaysPatreon: patreon.com/podcastlikeits1989Twitter: twitter.com/podcastlike1999Instagram: instagram.com/podcastlike1999Reddit: reddit.com/r/PodcastLikeIts See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

And then they were down to three contestants in the Mr. Podcast Like its 1999 pageant: Phil Iscove, Kenny Neibart and Jarett Wieselman (Netflix Social). With all three men tied, it would come down to their answers in the interview portion. Phil went first and his question was: "If you were stuck on a desert island, what one movie from 1999 would you take with you and why is it Drop Dead Gorgeous?" But Phil protested that it would actually be either Magnolia, The Straight Story or Toy Story 2 - depending upon who was asking the question - and was eliminated from competition. Kenny was up next and was asked: "Which character from Drop Dead Gorgeous do you most relate to?" But when Kenny responded it was Denise Richard's character Becky Ann Leeman, the booing and hissing was so loud it drowned out the remainder of his answer and he was awarded zero points. Finally, Jarett was asked: "Why isn't Drop Dead Gorgeous available on any streaming service in the world?" Jarett went into a violent rage and murdered everyone as a homage to Drop Dead Gorgeous, leaving the judges no choice but to award Mr. Podcast Like It's 1999 to... Kirsten Dunst!

Watch What Happens Five is on hiatus, and AG Classic is readying for its crown! Continuing a record-breaking week of episode drops, Sarah decides to BReal - with a return to form, an episode that yes, includes some Bethenny/Rachel discourse, but also so much more. And who better to join her for a New Beginning than a new guest, Bravoholic, social media manager, and "Twitter gay" (we love a brand ID), Jarett Wieselman. They settle into a AG Zoom kiki and discuss the process of osmosis for Housewives and perception vs. reality brand identity, the trust fall exercise around vulnerability sharing, Sanya and Drew's complicated dynamics with their sisters, Kenya's "Defining Gravity" sea change/reveal, whether to internally compartmentalize or combine OG RHONY with New New York, Shannon's (romantic panic) Family Feud, and what Bethenny is getting wrong about Andy, Sandoval, Graham, VPR, and the reality reckoning equilibrium. Sarah needs a nap, so please tell Chris Manzo to stop by at four - it's Andy's Girls, Episode 446!Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
