ENTP! 2 wing 3! Let's talk about you and me!We'll admit, a podcast episode all about our personalities might be a bit self-indulgent. But also fun! So bear with us as we dive headfirst into the various and sundry methods for categorizing oneself. This week, Katelyn and Roxy go old school (Myers-Briggs), new school (StrengthsFinder) and a little woo-woo (Enneagram, just kidding, don't come after us). Plus, a journey into the desert with our spiritual guide — and podcast producer — Jonathan Woodward. Just two months before Covid-19 broke out, we made a fictional pandemic episode that was like “Contagion” but with citations. And we played it for Dr. Anthony Fauci. Today, we're looking back at that episode and asking — how much of the pandemic did we predict? This episode has some unbleeped curse words. Find our transcript here: https://bit.ly/ScienceVsPandemic In this episode, we cover: (00:00) Chapter One: Why we're sharing this episode (03:42) Chapter Two: Meet Dr. Anthony Fauci (07:10) Chapter Three: The fictional pandemic begins (26:50) Chapter Four: Fauci's thoughts on our fake pandemic (33:53) Chapter Five: Wendy and Blythe's reaction The original pandemic episode was produced by Kaitlyn Sawrey, with help from Wendy Zukerman, Michelle Dang, Lexi Krupp, Rose Rimler and Meryl Horn. It was edited by Caitlin Kenney and Blythe Terrell. Extra writing help from Kevin Christopher Snipes. Fact checking by Diane Kelly. Mix and sound design by Peter Leonard. Music written by Peter Leonard, Bobby Lord and Marcus Thorne Bagala. This new update was produced by Rose Rimler and fact checked by Erika Akiko Howard, and mixed by Bobby lord. Silly, shallow, serious, interstellar … we said we'd take any and all of your questions. And we get some good ones!Katelyn has been on jury duty. We had Thanksgiving break. Roxy is on vacation this week. So it seemed like a good time to let our listeners do some of the work for us. We took to social media to seek your "ask me anything" — AMA — style questions. And we totally go there.Plus, here to deliver your questions (and a few of his own) is a very special guest, out from behind the curtain, the Wizard of Audio, our producer Jonathan Woodward!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

“Do the words ‘superiority complex’ mean anything to you?” This week I’m joined by Broken Magic author and my very frequent collaborator Eric Sipple, here to discuss arguably the most important episode of the series (being the namesake of this clearly revolutionary podcast) episode 707, “Conversations with Dead People.” We break down the four (five?) titular conversations; wax rhapsodic about Jonathan Woodward; condemn the pointless death of Jonathan Levinson; lament the horribly wasted potential of the First Evil; and ask whether the episode is better in isolation or if the shocks and twists of this episode actually pay off in a satisfying way through the rest of the season. Is it just a coincidence that this podcast takes its name from the only episode in the entire run of Buffy the Vampire Slayer with absolutely ZERO Xander Harris? You be the judge. Next: Tami Anderson, fan and amateur Buffyologist, joins me to discuss episode 708, “Sleeper” and 709, “Never Leave Me.” THE BREAKDOWN Run Time: 01:21:44 00:00:55 - Intro / Guest 00:05:50 - Main Topic 01:18:30 - Outro / Next THE LIBRARY Broken Magic, by Eric Sipple The Deli Counter of Justice, by Paul Smith, Eric Sipple, Arlo Wiley THE MUSIC “Conversations (feat. The United Kingdom is weeks away from a forced exit from the European Union that will bring unknown changes to the economy, politics, logistics, and everyday life. In advance of the Church of England General Synod in London, producer Jonathan Woodward speaks with Bishop Martin Warner of the West Sussex Diocese of Chichester. Why do the bishops generally support the Remain campaign, while 66% of Anglicans voted Brexit? What changes, responsibilities, and concerns does the church anticipate meeting? Is this the first time the Isles have parted ways from the power structures on the Continent?
Charismatic Christians are spiritually related to Pentecostals through certain spiritual practices, including divine healing, prophecy and speaking in tongues. Pew Research Center estimates there are just over 300 million Charismatics worldwide. Religion News Service reporter Jack Jenkins has been following Charismatics as their rituals and beliefs evolve into a modern political/spiritual hybrid. Jenkins joined producer Jonathan Woodward via Skype; talking through developments in the rise of a politically strengthened Charismatic movement.

TheSparkAndTheArt.com/52 – It's been a year since this podcast has started and the first interview I did was with today's guest, Spencer Goldade. A lot has changed in the year since we last heard from Spenny.
