How are physical health and marital intimacy connected—and why does it matter more than we often realize? In this episode, Dr. Kim and Mrs.Nancy sit down for an honest conversation about the link between physical health and intimacy in marriage. They explore how stress, exhaustion, illness, aging, and life seasons can impact connection, desire, and closeness—and why caring for our bodies is not just personal, but relational and spiritual. This conversation helps couples navigate physical barriers to intimacy without shame or pressure, and instead with patience, understanding, and love. Whether you're in a season of strength or struggle, this episode offers hope, clarity, and encouragement to pursue intimacy the way God designed it—rooted in grace and mutual care. You'll hear: • Why intimacy doesn't stay effortless—and why that's normal • How sleep deprivation, stress, and hormones impact desire and connection • Why exhaustion often gets misread as rejection • How physical neglect creates emotional distance • What stewardship of your body has to do with loving your spouse • How couples can talk about intimacy without shame or defensiveness • Practical, realistic steps to rebuild closeness—even in demanding seasons Quotes from This Episode: Often as women, we feel like we have to do it all. In this episode, I sit down with multi–seven-figure CEO and top 1% former network marketer Stefanie Gass, host of the globally ranked business podcast God Led Business. Stefanie spent years building her business "the world's way" — hustling, striving, and burning out — before hitting what she calls her "bathroom floor moment" and rebuilding everything with God leading the process. We talk about what it actually looks like to surrender your business to God when your old hustle wiring is still screaming at you, how Stefanie now runs a multi–seven-figure company in roughly 16 hours a week, and why she believes podcasting is still one of the most powerful, sustainable ways to grow a business without relying on social media. If you've been feeling that holy restlessness that tells you something about the way you're building isn't aligned anymore, this conversation is going to give you both language and practical direction for your next step. Timeline Summary [0:00] – Why this episode is for anyone who believes in a higher power and is tired of carrying their entire business alone. [2:24] – Stefanie's first 7 years of entrepreneurship: hustle, burnout, identity rooted in money, and the "quicksand" of building the world's way. [4:43] – The bathroom floor moment: losing her business, borrowing from her kids' savings, struggling with health and alcohol, and finally fully surrendering to God. [8:29] – Starting over with $150, the gym she "couldn't afford," and learning to fight old wiring while slowly trusting God with her business. [14:25] – "Discernment alarms," holy restlessness, and how God uses discomfort with kids, work, or even your phone to get your attention. [19:22] – How Stefanie practically creates balance: her annual CEO retreat, habit tracking, Sunday planning, and building a dream life in 16 hours of work per week. [28:23] – Why she doubled down on podcasting, how it quickly outperformed social media, and why she believes audio is making a comeback as people detox from short-form content. Top 5 Quotes from Stefanie Gass "Funny enough, when you build with the world's way and not God's way, it's quicksand." "I shifted from just doing more on my own to trusting God more so that I can do less." "I'm literally building the business that God created for the people it's meant to serve." "Whenever God's trying to get our attention, it creates a holy restlessness in you." "Audio consumption is healing. It's something that allows you to be at peace in your day and not overstimulated and chaotic." Links & Resources

We're headed on the road in 2026! Buy tickets here:https://www.x1entertainment.com/bttb"Let's get into the episode so we can bitch a lot! Yay, everyone wants to hear us bitch!" It's true, we can't get enough of it! And on Season 5's "The Great Divide" it turns out the other moms couldn't get enough of it either. With the ALDC back in Pittsburgh it doesn't take long for things to get heated as the fallout from the pretty disastrous trip to LA begin to pick apart what little group dynamic there was.Jill is worried about how she's being perceived for siding with Abby during the MattyB shoot. While she did initially support Holly, Jill knows if she crosses Abby it'll only lead to Kendall getting retaliated against and sees her pivot to Team Abby as a natural choice. Of course that doesn't sit right with Holly, who feels not only betrayed but believes Jill and Melissa's kowtowing to Abby sets a bad example for the girls and dooms only Nia to failure when there would have been strength in numbers. But Holly decides it's time she rethink how she views her friendships with the moms, in order to at the very least avoid future heartbreak. This in turn only makes Jill more frustrated with the situation.Abby is more concerned with the upcoming competition in New Jersey, which starts their teen division at age 12. This would mean the ALDC would have to compete against older dancers, and Abby doesn't think her girls stand a chance. In fact she makes clear that once one of her dancers enters the teen division, she no longer sees them as her student. Despite being an embarrassing admission of guilt in regards to her skillset ,the only person who'll suffer for it is Kalani who now has to sit out the group dance in order for the team to compete in the Junior category. Her consolation prize however is a solo with actually interesting and fresh choreography. Unfortunately Abby doesn't so easily forget when she feels wronged, and Nia in turn is presented with a very stale solo routine and isn't even given the dignity of having Abby pay attention to her rehearsal.Quotes“...or a priest because it was obviously another immaculate reception. Wait what is it? Conception, not reception! I'm from Pittsburgh, the Immaculate Reception is what we care about more." (02:15-02:24 | Christi)“I can do anything I put my mind to Christi! Most of us have been taught the same rule for success: when things get hard, try harder. Put in more hours. Push a little more. Stay more available. For a long time, that rule worked. In this episode, Dr. Bray turns that idea upside down and explores why it doesn't anymore. We talk about why so many capable, driven people feel mentally stretched thin despite working harder than ever, and why effort alone is no longer the lever it used to be. This conversation looks beneath the surface of modern work to unpack what pressure, overload, and constant urgency are doing to how we think, decide, and relate to others. This is not an episode about motivation or productivity hacks. It is about understanding how the brain actually responds to effort, stress, and speed, and why pushing more can quietly make things worse. If you've ever wondered why focus feels harder, why progress feels heavier, or why work seems to take more out of you than it used to, this episode will give you a new lens and a sense that you are not alone. It might just change how you think about effort altogether. Quotes by Dr. Bray "This is not because you're weak, and it's not because you lack discipline… It is because the rules that once rewarded effort have changed — and our brains have not been redesigned to keep up." "Ask yourself one honest question: am I adding effort, or am I improving capacity?" "The future of performance is not about pushing harder. It's about building brains that can sustain clarity, focus, and emotional steadiness under pressure." "When capacity increases, effort finally starts working again."
