Rory Herrman joined us to talk about his hockey story coming up through the ranks in youth hockey, competing in the highest-level amateur hockey league in the United States and preparing for NCAA Division 1 Hockey. Rory Herrman got the bug to play hockey from experiencing the amazing energy and excitement attending San Diego Gulls games with this family at the San Diego Sports Arena.  We trace his story from roller hockey at the Poway Sportsplex and Kit Carson Park in Escondido all the way to playing for the USA U17 National Team and the Green Bay Gamblers and Fargo Force in the USHL.  Tracing Rory’s life through his ascendency in the hockey ranks was incredible. The support and love from his parents made everything possible.  The flexibility and academic support from his principle and teachers at Poway High School let him pursue his dream while staying on track achieving great grades and remaining on course for college. From 8th grade to senior year in high school it was a different school with different classmates and different experiences. Rory's stories about the competitiveness on the ice, the hockey fights and the personal impact of being trade were riveting. Rory Herrman and I touch on a range of other topics including the Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks, New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Wayne Gretzky, ice fishing, deer hunting, getting traded, United States Hockey League, Ron Garrett, Poway Unified School District, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, RPI, Pomerado Hospital, St. Michael’s School, New Hampton School, Bobby Kaiser, Muskegon Lumberjacks, New Directions, San Diego Ice Arena, SDIA, Junior Gulls, Junior Kings, Junior Ducks, Escondido Ice-plex, Play It Again Sports, Craig Sterling, wiener dog races and more. In Taos NM for Tibetan & Indigenous Ceremonies with Yusen Yamato, Water Protectors Blessing and Green Tara Suicide Prevention Ceremonies, Sunday Dec9, 11am Kit Carson Park, 1pm Rio Grande Gorge Bridge nearby which a shrine is being proposed dedicated to peace of mind through the practice of unconditional love, a Prema Shanti Stupa. Native Media Network Group on Facebook will post video of Sunday’s ceremonies. Discussion of Green Tara protector symbolism per example of Reid Stowe’s Green Tara Tantra Kundalini Yoga Practice enabling him to spend over 800 days alone at sea, out of sight of land, to set the world sailing record of 1152 days non-stop without resupply, inspiring creation of the Facebook Groups: Green Tara Sanga, Green Tara Rainbow Peace Fleet, and the MyoHo Moru Project to acquire that world sailing record boat for a voyage from San Francisco to Nicaragua to Japan and to India as a reflection of the Buddha Dharma back from America to the land of its origin. Comparison of Captain Stowe’s use of the Green Tara symbol, as a mental construct, to Yellowbird, “sent by Creator to guide my path,” used by Ken Fourcloud to initiate and lead the Leonard Peltier Freedom Ride 2018 on horseback from Mankato South Dakota July28, to Coleman Florida Prison Sept22, and to the White House Nov1, appealing for  Executive Clemency.  Vision and plans for Taos Opening Ceremony April 28, 2019, of a “YamatoLand” (Land of Great Harmony) Metatron Temple of Time Mayan Sixth Sun Sacred Calendar Dream Catcher Shrine, to further the Prema Shanti Stupa Project for “Global Peace Now!” as the Universal Human Resolve...
