Our Cöld Brüe List is a list off craft beer names that have a reference to the failed insurrection on Capitol Hill on January 6th, 2021 as well as the democracy that persevered. We drink and review a non-alcoholic coffee cream stour called Intrepid Traveler (0.4% ABV) brewed by WellBeing Brewing (Maryland Heights, MO). We also drink and review a dry hopped Double IPA called Lagunitas Sucks (8% ABV) brewed by Lagunitas Brewing Company (Petaluma, CA). We have our weekly beer news, Cöld Brüe Poll of the Week, and our Drunken Shenanigans, which includes our last installment of Coach's Corner.
Joe Zaragoza (@JoeDABSPod) and Brandi Roberts (@BrandiDABSPod) join us to breakdown the trends, styles, and themes of 90s punk while we drink a Lagunitas, despite its name, that doesn't actually suck.
What the hell was that? A fart? A stomach rumble? The amount of questionable noises coming from Junior’s chair this week are a little disconcerting, but at least Pixel Glory is here to save us! Pixel Glory is a deck-building game that sees the players form a team of wizards who draft spells to build their own “spell decks” in order to venture into a dungeon and defeat the bosses therein that threaten the lives of the villagers outside. The players work together to weaken the monsters, but only those who score the killing blow are able to score the victory points. The game is played until all monsters are defeated, and the player with the most points at the end wins. This week in brews, everyone but Schnell stays within Wisconsin. Nelson has Rift IPA from Central Waters, Teej goes with Leinenkugel’s Creamy Dark Lager, Schnell ventures out and tries Lagunitas Sucks (spoiler; it does), and Junior brings it all back home with Unite the Clans, a Scottish Rye Ale from Third Space Brewing Company.
In this episode we review the Kaxe Z by Kastaplast along with Lagunitas Sucks by Lagunitas Brewing Company. We also talk about the recent pro sponsorship moves, PDGA putting rule changes, and our need to make good on past bets. Music by www.bensound.com

Transhumanism, Part 2 and Lagunitas Sucks beer. Special guest host: Mike (again!)
This could very well be my favorite TNCC episode of all time. It aint good – it’s fucking great. Don’t believe me? Well, you smug skeptical bastard, click on the YouTube video below and judge for yourself. And I’m very sorry for calling you a bastard. That was out of line and I’m not sure where that unprovoked burst of anger came from… perhaps I need a drink. THE CIGAR – ZLATNO SONCE by JAS SUM KRAL Tonight’s cigar smoking experience started off on somewhat of a hilarious note as Tut complained about the lack of air flow coming through the cigar on the cold draw, only to quickly realize the […] The post Episode 45 – Blown Away (1993) / Zlatno Sonce cigar / Lagunitas Sucks beer appeared first on Tuesday Night Cigar Club.
My good friend Ari is my guest this week, claiming VJing is totally the JavaScript of the club, giving me a lesson in scalability, and teaching us to keep your eyes three feet in front of you while coding like e.e. cummings. We're drinking Lagunitas Sucks, which didn't actually suck.
Episode 10 has everyone again and look at a bunch of movie reviews. We looked at Creep, It Follows, Tusk, Purge: Anarchy, Foxcatcher, When the Game Stands Tall, Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, Happy Valley, Piranha Double D, and Teeth. We also talk about the early reviews of Fantastic Four and the issues that were faced, both movies titled the Gift, Chris Pine joining Wonder Woman, a potential Thunderbolts Netflix series, Ben Affleck taking on a Batman Trilogy and another Beetlejuice. We tease discussions around why Jedi are not considered super-heroes and if bands from our youth could sustain themselves now. The unofficial beer sponsor is 4 Hands Brewing again, along with Lagunitas; we drank 4 Hands Super Flare and Lagunitas Sucks. The music is brought to you by One Hour Motel; the track is titled "Nude Ventrioloquist," which has a clip in the opening and the full track at the end of the episode. You can find them on... 00:00:00 - The coffee culture of the Pacific Northwest puts the world at risk yet again. This time it's all the excreted caffeine getting into our oceans, which could have nasty affects on marine life down the line, but could also serve as an indicator of other contaminants. Either way, we still can't function without java and of course... 00:16:32 - booze. Not the best part of waking up, but still an important part of the day. Patrick refers to another aquatic disaster with his Burning River Pale Ale. Charlie and Ryan laugh at the mishaps that led to Lagunitas Sucks. And Ryan goes over the top with a 1000 IBU by Mikkeller. 00:24:56 - Trailer Trash Talk goes beyond the sea by going beneath the surface in the upcoming Soviet submarine movie Phantom. 00:37:04 - Abigail W., natural artist extraordinaire, asked us to look over a new paper claiming that Edicaran organisms may have started on land and not the sea, but does the claim hold water? 00:59:59 - PaleoPOWs are a lot like paleosols, if you try hard enough, you can see them everywhere you look. Patrick jumped the gun in the previous segment. Charlie thanks Gabrial A., who hopes Kelly is back on the show soon, for a donation. Thanks, Gabrial! And Ryan has a question from Greg B. wanting to know why humans have evolved to be so smart... or have we?
