Your business is growing like crazy, and your mobile phone is ringing like crazy.Or maybe it's getting a lot of texts, either way, it's amazing, but also super overwhelming.Wouldn't it be great to know when an “unknown” number comes in, if it's coming in as a business call or not?We get so many spam callers now, that it can be so tedius when you're someone who strives to take every call.Did you know that there are lots of apps that can give you a seperate phone line, for your business, that comes directly into your smart phone? We've always used the app, Line2, our daughter and son in law use the app Open Phone and they like it too. There are several, just do your homework and see which ones have the features you need. Most are around $15/month.You can also use Google Voice, which is free, but doesn't have a ton of features. Check with it first before you try a paid one, it actually is fairly robust. How do these look on your phone? They look much like the native phone on your device. They might be a different color and have a little menu on the top and bottom. You'll get notified on your phone when a call is coming in on your business line. It's pretty nice, because there might be scenarios where you might be too busy to take a personal call, but you could make time for a business call, or vice versa for that matter. These apps also have a phone dialer. So when you're making outbound calls, your caller id shows your business number, and protects your personal mobile number. They also include texting features, which, as we know, is a great feature for couples. Many of them, I know Line2 does, have extension/phone tree extensions. For example, you could have a recording answer the phone, and say, “Press 1 if you're one of our amazing existing couples, press 2 if yo'ure one of our amazing future couples.”This will help you know a little bit about who you're answering to when you do. Of course it can be whatever you want, it could even be to different people on your team.Let's say you have a full service venue like we did. You could say “Press 1 to discuss your menu, press 2 to discuss your decor.” That would route the calls to completely different forwarding numbers. Pretty nice, and saves everyone lots of time.Another benefit of it is the level of professionalism it allows for you to answer the call. You know to answer a business call with your business name, and allows you the freedom to not answer every call that comes to your personal number as your business name.Hot tip: If juggling between your personal calls and your business calls is something that is a pain point in your business, considering looking into one of these apps. One of the really nice features of it is that you can put business hours on it and have it not ring during certain times of the day. If you're needing to put some boundaries on your business, this is a great way to do it.If you're wishing your phone was ringing, or getting textsDo you wish you could fill your calendar faster and easier? It's always easy to do on your own, so I've created a free challenge for you, where we'll walk through it together. The challenge starts on September 21, when you sign up right now you'll get an action item that will have you starting with the right foundation!Just go to www.letsbookclients.com/referralschallenge to sign up today!
