Most people do this. It feels safer — nobody complains, and you can always point to someone else charging the same. But that number holds you inside the reality you already have, no matter what else you're doing in your life.I go into the frequency of mediocrity and its gift, which is style: pricing from what you are actually building rather than from what the market appears to tolerate. Working backwards from the pinnacle instead of forwards from the ballpark. The equation between audience size and price, and why a higher number isn't automatically the right answer. And why the mediocre number quietly produces mediocre work around it — because you never have to fully commit to a number that costs you nothing to choose.Then the exit number.
