I release worry. The thoughts that try to pull me ahead into what has not yet happened—I let them go. I do not carry tomorrow. I remain here, in this moment, with You. You are with me. Your presence steadies me. Your peace surrounds me. I am not alone in what lies ahead, because You are already there, preparing the way before me. So I trust You. I trust You with what I cannot see. I trust You with what I cannot control. I trust You with every unknown that tries to unsettle my heart. You give me peace. Not as the world gives, but a peace that guards my heart, settles my thoughts, and brings calm where there has been anxiety. Jesus, quiet my mind. Let Your peace replace every restless thought.
